dude. i sniped the last one of these off the popular shelf at the library and i did not realize i was jumping past a line of SEVENTY PEOPLE 🫨🫨🫨
#i was so happy walking out of there lmaoo patrons have been recommending it to me for months#i think it's been on and off the bestseller list basically since i started working there#constantly has multiple holds on it (and as evidenced above it does at my home library too lmao)#my home library does a thing where they set aside a copy or two of rly popular titles and make them non-holdable#so that's one of the ones i grabbed today#we don't do that at work to my knowledge so this book is just one you have to wait for#but im like 50 pages in now and im kind of getting the kristin hannah hype i just got rly sucked in#people rly do rave about her maybe i'll have to try that other one of hers that's always on hold that i forgot the title of#or maybe i should read tom lake by ann patchett which people also go fucking feral for#maybe this is my year of checking out what all the hype is about#edit: oh and the paris novel of course. and i still haven't read funny story#bri babbles
