Some things are ‘Not for Sale’, taking away someone for slavery/prostitution means taking away their dreams. It’s high time to protect yourself against human trafficking online. 🛑♀️
Traffickers have adapted to online platforms including social media, marketing sites, and matrimonial/dating webpages to recruit victim and attract them.
Make sure you set strict privacy settings and beware of strange friend request. Beware of fake advertisements and avoid sharing it among your social groups. Educate yourself from warning signs of trafficking and don’t forget to raise an alarm. 🛑
There are several ways to stop human trafficking, including: 👉Increasing law enforcement efforts to identify and prosecute traffickers. 👉Providing support and resources for victims of trafficking, such as shelter, counselling, and job training. 👉Educating the public about the warning signs of trafficking and how to report it. 👉Strengthening international cooperation to combat trafficking across borders. 👉Addressing the root causes of trafficking, such as poverty and lack of opportunities such as education, employment, and skills.
Working all together in a concerted way on a local and international platform with survivors on prevention, detection, and response efforts, we together can stop trafficking of women and girls around the world for good.

Consider the cost, but...
Tumblr media
I may have mentioned in a video before that I can be pretty indecisive.  I mean a 5-minute trip to Target can quite easily turn into an hour. I know, it’s bad.  They have a silly commercial about the “fear of better options”, but I really think that could be my problem.  I have to compare every price.  I want to check how much I am getting for the price.  I have to see if it’s a “real” sale or just a reduction on a price that was marked up to begin with.  Then depending on what or who the item is for, I have to make sure I will get the maximum benefit. Like I said, it’s bad.  I like to consider the cost before I make a purchase. Personally I believe it’s a wise thing to do.  But, sometimes it becomes so easy to get so caught up in the calculation that I miss out on why I came to the store in the first place.  The truth is, that’s a problem that’s not just limited to my store purchases, but can also impact my decisions in life.
We all have goals, and I think it’s pretty safe to say that no goal is accomplished without some type of cost.  Whether it’s a cost of time, finances or effort, there will be some sacrifice that you have to encounter.  As I said, it’s a wise thing to consider those costs.  It helps you to understand what it will take to remain committed. The question is, do you ever get too caught up in considering the cost of your dreams?  Trying to work out every single detail in your mind that you never end up taking any action.  Here’s a fact: you will never work out every detail in your head.  So it’s time to put down the calculator, and learn to take up some faith.
Trust me, I’ve been there. I’ve tried to plan out every detail and predict every potential problem when it comes to some of the goals I desire to accomplish.  I’ve NEVER gotten it all right.  There are some details that you ultimately will miss, and some problems that you will never be able to predict.  Don’t let that stop you from taking a risk!  Where your mental calculations end is where God can truly step in.  He has a perfect success rate.  So make sure you consider the cost, but don’t get caught up in the calculations.
With love from the ONE up above,
Renee
