Tribal Council #3 - Nera

Tristin, if you take away the other tribe’s idol hunt disadvantages in the second round, your tribe would have lost every immunity on scores. Does this make you nervous moving forward? Do you trust this group as a whole?

I’m not nervous! Advantages and disadvantages are a big part of survivor so you never know how they can shift the tides of a round! Last round the odds were in our favor and I hope they continue to be. I genuinely trust my tribe! I think that they are a group of genuine and kind people and I can’t wait to see our future. 

Michele, many people have been predicting a swap after this tribal council. How would a swap impact the game for you? Do you think you’d be able to mesh well with those on the other tribe?

People have been predicting WHAT!? I’m really enjoying the connections I’ve made on a personal level so a swap would make me a little sad tbh. I’d be excited to meet the others though so it wouldn’t be terribly bad. Since I don’t know the other players I’m not sure yet how well meshing together will go, but I am optimistic!

Gregg, you’ve been pretty quiet this round. Do you think that’s a reflection of your dedication to the game? Is there a benefit to being a less present vs. more present player so early on in the game?

ive been pretty quiet because having two jobs and then one of those jobs having you to stay longer for work and have the jobs back to back kinda limits how much I can be present and talk to people. I hope its not taken for how dedicated for the game I am because I really want to be here. Early one I think both are a reason to vote someone off. because one you feel like someone is inactive and for the other you think that person is trying to be the leader and stuff. I just hope tonight I can stay because I do want to be here, was just super busy these last few days. but if I don't I would understand.

Eliza, several people from the other tribe have been seen rummaging around your camp via the idol hunt. What do you think this means? Does it make you nervous? What’s your view of the idol hunt situation?

Idols generally get found early in the game so I’m not surprised that four people have already found their way to our camp. But with the information that people are at our camp it definitely opens up a lot of questions, are people from our tribe at theirs? What if they find an idol/advantage at our camp? Can one tribe have both idols? And I think that because of that it makes some people really curious about idols in general and with that much mystery it is kind of scary. 

Franco, so far in this game we’ve seen two unanimous votes. Will tonight be the round that streak breaks? Why or why not? What are the benefits of trying to keep the tribe together as whole?

Unanimous votes gives people the sense that they can trust what they're being told. That's why it is so important in the early game. It creates a vibe of tribe unity, and everyone wants to feel united with their fellow tribemates. I don't wanna jinx it but I think this round won't be any different. For the most part everyone seems to be on the same page and there is a general tribe consensus. 

Lenny, do you blame anybody in particular for your tribe’s loss, considering it was such a wide margin of defeat? What do you think you could’ve done better?

I do. I definitely am noticing who is contributing and who is not. Nonetheless, I thought yesterday’s challenge was really fun. Of course there are things I wish I could have done better! I intentionally gave sometimes stranger clues (referencing tv shows or sayings) because that is how my brain works. Was that helpful? You’d have to ask the guesser, Rain  

Despite our loss, I think these challenges are consistently uniting us as a tribe! 

Rain, you volunteered to be the guesser in this challenge. Do you think you bear any of the responsibility for the tribe’s loss? Are you concerned about how you’ll be perceived for taking on that role?

Jay I think we all hold a little responsibility for the tribes loss, equally so - I was answering as fast as I could with the clues given to me and each one of my tribe mates was doing their best. Of course I’m anxious about it, but I don’t regret taking the role, I had a good time. 

Worm, with the first redemption island duel coming to a close tonight, who do you expect to win? Who would you like to win? How is redemption island coming into play when you cast your votes?

I honestly keep forgetting that redemption island is a twist in this game sometimes. I think right now, I think because I actually have meet Susan that I hope she ends up winning this redemption island. Hopefully by speaking that into the universe it helps her win lol

If anybody has a hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so.
