had a feeling that the mario and sonic at the olympic games series wasnt getting new games anymore considering if it was they would have released the 2024 edition months ago. but its still disappointing that it definitely seems to be over now. especially upsetting that allegedly it only ended because the olympic committee took the license away from sega in favor of doing nfts or some shit. like come on man

#i guess its not the end of the world considering its just a silly spinoff thing and can get kinda repetitive anyway #but i like seeing the mario and sonic characters hang out i like their little sports outfits .......#sage will never get to go to the olympics and hang out with bowser jr..... tragic #considering sega werent the ones who decided to end it i hope they make some kinda deal with nintendo #to do some other crossover thing with mario to replace the olympics series #because the crossover aspect is the most fun part and it would be a shame to lose that forever #and i also dont even care or know anything about the olympics sooo them hanging out under a different setting would be better actually
