What Indigo Apparel taught me about Eco-fashion:

When I first started as an intern at Indigo Apparel, I didn’t know much about the Eco-fashion industry. I grew up wearing fast fashion my whole life, and it wasn’t until my junior year in University did I realize how controversial fast fashion is – unethical, labor exploiting, and bad for the environment. I wasn’t sure what could be done to change the way we make clothes, until I started to learn more and more about sustainable fashion at Indigo Apparel. From organic cotton to non-toxic dyes, I was able to understand and appreciate the hard work that goes behind slow fashion - making products sustainably conscious for each person. The dedication it takes to make sure that we’re living in a fair world with products that not only look pretty, but feel amazing, and is making our world a better place. I no longer look at fashion the same. I am more aware, more conscious, and more appreciative of the Eco-fashion community for their fashion revolution. Much love and thank you to Jackii Ramis, founder of Indigo Apparel, for educating me about a change that is so important today.
