Repost from @conversearchives using @RepostRegramApp - Today's sneaker is the Converse Cons Blue which I believe was released for the 95-96 basketball season. It was shoe made specifically for the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky wore many nice Cons models throughout the 90s and this one really stands out. I assume it was called "Blue" because of the bluegrass state. It is made with actual Jean denim which really makes them unique. Kentuckys jerseys for the season where actually made with denim which has to go down as one of the most strange jersey designs of all time. You really have to wonder how comfortable the jerseys where. I will post a picture of the jersey another time. I thought these shoes would be good to show today because of the big game starting in about 30 minutes against the Florida Gators. I am a huge Gator fan and I will be watching the game live tonight.
