Don't look at me like I am a full-course meal. Don't look at me like you could shred my clothes to pieces at any moment. Like that. But, as it was once said, to fool Azazel one would need to try harder than that. The incubus wasn't going to dig into the younger's deepest desires out of respect, he still had some manners, but he could easily tell what Xiao might be thinking just by the aura surrounding him. He wanted more than that.

The demon reached to pull the other closer by the hips, leaning closer to his ear. "Or are you saying it because you want me to act upon it already?" He teased with a whisper. Now it was up to Xiao to decide if he wanted to take things further or stay sexually frustrated for the next who knows how long.

Jin's not exactly a hopeless romantic, but he does love the idea of finding somebody and eventually getting married. He doesn't technically actively seek it, but he'll be more than happy when he finds somebody he naturally connects with. Jin's okay with being single, but it's not something he'd want forever.

Like Jin, Devil also doesn't actively seek companionship. Except, y'know... when a certain season comes around, then he actively looks for a 'mate'. He doesn't mind the idea of having a lover, but he also doesn't mind if he doesn't. Devil is still trying to learn how to love properly.

Jin's a cis man, and he is very masculine, and comfortable with his masculinity. However, this doesn't mean Jin isn't inclined to leaning into more feminine traits or whatever, too. As he discussed with Xiao in one of our threads, he'd be willing to wearing lacey underwear or thongs. He'd also be willing to wear skirts and dresses if he finds one he thinks would look good on him.

Devil technically doesn't have a gender, as I don't think devils have them considering that in Tek2, Devil [Kazuya] was referred to with it/its pronouns and Azazel has never been referred to with pronouns iirc. However, Devil [Jin] leans more towards masculine terms and pronouns due to simply getting used to them as people referred to him most with those. Just how, even though his name technically isn't Devil, he got used to it as most people call him that. So if Devil had been born with a female host, he would've likely went by she/her and feminine terms instead. BUT, if say, somebody somehow takes him from Jin and puts him into a female's body, he'd still use he/him and masculine terms because he's now used to those. Because devils didn't really have genders, they lack traditional gender roles - therefore, Devil's likely to not abide by the humans roles of gender.

"Well, they say the more you fuck around, the more you find out," Azazel remarked. Although he didn't really have any expectations. He wanted to let Xiao decide on his own, given the younger seemed to still have doubts about him for some reason. If there was one expectation, it was probably Azazel thinking that the younger would tell him to fuck off right there and then, just like how he usually acted in one way or another even if it was quite obvious he didn't mean it. But this time was a little different. That boy never failed to surprise him.

Something really must be on his mind for him to just go for the kiss at the very first offer. It almost made Azazel want to scold him a little about being so reckless when it comes to 'making deals' with a demon (not that he would play a trick on him, this wasn't even the kind of deal people keep writing about in literature and show in movies, it was nothing like that, but he knew how some demons took opportunities when the door was already open). But he decided to not do it now, perhaps later. As they pulled away, Azazel looked at Xiao. "So, I'm guessing there's something you really want. What is it?"

If Azazel knew this was really all it took to make the younger lower down his defences a little, he would have surely done it earlier. Not that he was in any rush though; he just wanted the other to feel comfortable around him. "I did?" Oh, he knew he didn't, Xiao couldn't fool him like that. But he looked so excited, it was cute. "You sure you want to try that now? I can give you my jacket, but you'd also need gloves and proper boots. And also, I don't want to to rain on your parade, but we'd have to go slow, you need to know the very basics first." Did Xiao even know what most road signs (except the obvious ones everybody knew) meant to signal? Because the boy should get prepared to hit the books first before even thinking of speeding down the roads.

Hearing the other's voice, Azazel took off his glasses and looked up from the book he was reading to get a good look at Xiao. "Oh, whatever shall I do about that?" He said in a rather teasing manner, a grin spreading across his lips. The younger was so cute. Very, very cute. He slightly patted the top of his thigh, inviting him to come closer and sit if he wanted to. "I don't mind it. It looks good on you."

Honestly your blog and the way you write Jin is such a breath of fresh air, that's why I always come back to ask you stuff because I also learn or remember things from the lore that I forgot over the years lol. I soo agree with your post about Asuka's wasted potential.. man. She's one of my faves and she could be so much more but Harada just can't seem to do her justice. Like you say, she's a Kazama. She's not some random character. She's part of Jin's family, yet we don't see them interact. And the one time we see them together, my mans falls straight down to her chest 💀. Sometimes it kinda seems the Pachinko stuff have much more substance than the actual Canon things we got in game.

I saw a video of the girls (Asuka, Xiao, Miharu, Alisa, and I think Lili) fighting a giant mecha Heihachi lmao. And I was like??? Bruh. This is incredible. I want to see Asuka and Xiao kicking ass together. And then there's Jin on his bike looking at them like, nevermind. lol

Oh my gosh! Thank you, haha!! I'm glad you enjoy it - always a VERY wonderful thing to hear, and does help with motivation to be around as always! And I ALWAYS love being asked things, too! A thing to always look forward to when logging on here. :P

YEAHHH. I'll just never understand the reason to write Asuka in such a way, or what's even the point of her character. Like, that never happened to Jun - Jun has always been written quite seriously. And yes, I know Asuka isn't a stoic like Jun is, nor is she a love interest of one of the main characters. But still! She's a Kazama nonetheless, and it's not like her concept is particularly silly or ridiculous. (See Alex or Roger) so, I really don't understand how her character just came to be fan service and comic relief.

AND LOOK - I know on this blog I often joke about Jin being a Mega Virgin and all that. But he's not THAT oblivious. Come on, he's still a 21 year old man. He'd understand why Asuka would be so upset at him for falling into his chest, even if it was an accident and he didn't intend to. He'd still realized what happened - instead of - INSTEAD OF QUESTIONING

It IS kinda funny how the Pachinko games do seem to have more substance. I haven't checked 'em out completely yet. But I mean, we do get Jin saving Asuka in an actual serious scene. Xiaoyu actually interacting with DJ, and I guess/think we see Jin actually fight Azazel? Like put that much effort into the actual games, please, lmao.

It would be actually cool to see Xiao and Asuka team up and interact. In fact, they could've done just that had they actually acknowledged that ASUKA HAS THE ABILITY TO REPEL THE DEVIL GENE. Like instead of introducing ANOTHER CHARACTER who supposedly can, with no connections to the Kazamas (Claudio) they could've had Xiao learn about Jun, then going to Asuka for help as she realized Asuka may have the same power. Upon hearing this, and how it can save the world as they know it, as well as their friend/family - Asuka agrees to come along with Xiao to track down Jin/DJ.

The way Xiao shrugged away Azazel's words kind of reminded the demon of the way how younger people were quick to agree with their parents or someone older than them just so they could skip to doing the fun part, something Azazel had ironically done quite often too. But he needed to make it clear that if he was to instruct Xiao, he was going to take his job seriously and wasn't going to just fool around. He didn't care how much Xiao could take, he wasn't going to let him be and break his back or worse in the process. "Good. Don't forget or I'll make you run 50 laps around the parking lot on foot." What better way to make sure a task is done than to say one would have to do something unpleasant if they don't do it, right?

Azazel contained a chuckle when looking at Xiao. He looked cute, probably not the most desired look when riding on a bike, but this would suffice for now. There was nobody around anyway, so it shouldn't be too embarrassing for the younger. "A human or not, I still want you to wear them." He replied and came closer when Xiao made himself comfortable on the seat. The other didn't seem to have an issue mounting the bike, so so far so good. "You need to get familiarized with the bike and its components so you're gonna start with practising starting and stopping the bike along with balancing and and clutch control. You already know how to drive bikes, so it shouldn't be too hard for you with the motorbike. It's not too different, but instead of pedalling you're controlling the clutch. Keep your body relaxed and don't look down, you should feel where the foot controls are before starting the engine beforehand. Got that?" Azazel explained as he reached for his keys and handed them to Xiao.

"No shit, sherlock." A roll of his eyes but even that could not diminish the excitement taking a hold again immediately. While yes he may not have experience riding a bike on his own, he doubted it could be that hard. After all he was strong, the size or weight of the vehicle shouldn't be the problem. There was just something about Azazael treating him like someone that easily broke that was off putting. In a sense there were many who assumed Xiao upon first look to be among the weaker type of people, yet there had also been a time in his life where his limits had been breached, where the young man had been pushed to the brink of death so- could he really be angry about someone finally caring about him? As long as it was genuine, no. But exactly that was the issue. He didn't trust the demon enough to take anything he said at full. "Yeah, yeah, yeah..." Absentminded agreement just to get Azazel to move along to the most important part. Just when he had slipped the helmet on he pushed himself into the jacket, arms a tad too long, space enough half another person as slim as Xiao but at least the gloves fit fine. The blonde was sure he did not look half as cool as he could, but it was only at the mention of protective gear that he pushed up the visor of the helmet to look over. "Hey, you know I'm not a human, right?" With a nudge against the older man's shoulder while passing him, soon excited hands took a hold of the bike in close proximity. Confidently he swing his leg over to the other side to take a seat, more than happy to find that his legs were long enough to still reach the ground to keep steady. "We gonna do this or what, dude?"

"Perhaps. But I also believe to be quite knowledgable too, so I don't see it as a particularly bad thing." Azazazel grinned. But he wasn't planning on teasing the other, given how determined he seemed. And given that he still hadn't managed to make Xiao believe he was not his enemy, he wasn't someone he should be wary of.

"Sweetheart, if I were to spy on you, you wouldn't have even known of my existence. So to simply answer your question - no, I am not." Azazel replied, calm as ever, nothing about him hinting otherwise; his voice having a more serious tone, not wanting to undermine the other's worries. If he was spying on Xiao, then he must be doing a terrible job. Though, as he already said, that wasn't his intention. "I like you, Xiao, I thought I had made it obvious. I couldn't give a shit about your father and what he wants even if they paid or tried to make a deal with me. But I guess it's on me for not considering that you might have such concerns, I'm sorry, I should have made that clear from the beginning." He further explained as he clasped his hands behind his back, deciding to not touch the other until he was given a sign, anything. "I don't expect you to make up your mind right away. Do you want me to leave until you process my answer or do you have any other questions?"

"All you do is fuck around.." A jab that really wasn't one, they both knew Azazel had no shame nor did Xiao seem too bothered by the offer given how he ended up leaning in. It may have surprised them both, the press of his lips, their first kiss with such an off premise being the context. What the older couldn't know was how Xiao didn't actually have anything he needed so there was no binding contract to this anyway, not that he had believed for the demon to make this official anyway even if he could. "I don't trust you.." The blonde's voice was more quiet than usual, just above a whisper. He also didn't put distance between them after the kiss even if there was no direct physical contact, Xiao remained close. A bit less bratty than usual, a hint of maturity in his gaze as ember eyes looked up to the older man. "I want you to tell me...I want to know if you're spying on me." Even if it was already too late. Regardless how far the blonde would run he knew he could not escape the pull that side of his identity had on him, how demons so easily found him and how Azazael had not once even considered leaving him alone. If it wasn't for spying on him, for tattling to his father, then Xiao couldn't explain it. "What do you want with me?"

"Cars and bicycles are different from motorbikes, Xiao, I'm not leaving you to break all your bones on my watch. Nor crashing my bike. You can do that all you want with yours." And perhaps with that statement, the demon was hinting at the fact that he'll get the other a bike as a gift if he's a good driving student. Azazel could already tell Xiao was excited, he figured that would be extra motivation for him to be paying attention. "Put on your helmet." Azazel nodded towards the helmet the younger was holding as he took off his jacket and gloves to give them to him too. "These might be a little big for you, but they'll do for now as you won't be going for crazy speeds. Next time I want you with proper boots and pants, the jeans won't save your ass from the asphalt. I'm pretty sure that I have some motorcycle armour that should fit you stored around so I'll take care of that."

Since Xiao was a newbie he would need the extra protection in case any accidents happen to minimize getting hurt as much as possible. It was much better than the self-taught route Azazel went for when he was younger, getting himself hurt like an idiot and only then making friends with someone who actually showed him how to do it properly. "Never doubted it. Put in the effort and you'll be driving in no time." Well, maybe a little more than no time, but encouragement never hurt.

"Basics? I can drive, yanno!" Well, cars. He had maybe sat on a bike before yet never driven himself, of course the countless times that someone had taken him along on the back. But that wasn't enough for Xiao, despite the slightly bratty answer there was this spark remaining in his eyes of pure joy about holding the helmet just imagining how cool it would be to be the one in charge of the bike. Thing was the demon was right, not to forget the sheet heaviness of the motorbike. Xiao was strong, he wasn't just a human after all, but that didn't mean he could control the force of a vehicle without practice. "Don't underestimate me, I'm smart!" Hitting books had never been his thing, well, he never even entered junior high so that was also generally not his inclination.
