BASICS
Name: Quasimodo Frollo Age: 22 (22) Neighborhood: Olympus Job: Fableton Community Church Story: The Hunchback of Notre Dame Character: Quasimodo Faceclaim: Eddie Redmayne Status: Taken
PERSONALITY
+ kind, helpful, steadfast
- reclusive, naive, gullible
BIOGRAPHY
Abandoned by his mother as a baby, Quasimodo was adopted by Judge Claude Frollo. He had no idea that Frollo was responsible for her death and raised him as a punishment. That was why he was kept secluded in the Notre Dame church as a bell-ringer, which left him deaf. He watched over Paris from above, simultaneously dreaming of joining it and fearing that people would shun him for his differences. That changed when he saw the beautiful gypsy, Esméralda, dancing at the Festival of Fools, and for the first time, he braved the outside world.
It did not go well. A series of events led to Esméralda being falsely accused of murder, and Quasimodo did everything he could to help her escape. He still doesn’t realize the role that Frollo played in all of that, and before he could find out, the world had changed. Freedom hadn’t gone well for him the first time, and Quasimodo retreated into the church at Fableton, convinced that nobody but Frollo would ever accept him. Occasionally, he catches a glimpse of Esméralda, but he’s been too shy to speak to her so far.
CONNECTIONS
Esméralda Gringoire: Though he knows she doesn’t think of him that way, he can’t help having a tiny crush on the beautiful gypsy. She’s one of the only people who’s ever been kind to him without a motive, and if nothing else, he counts her as a dear friend.
Xavier Facilier: Quasimodo is naturally suspicious of the man who runs the church, but he can’t quite put his finger on why. He mostly keeps to himself and tries to stay out of Facilier’s way.

BASICS
Name: Kate Farris Story: A Knight’s Tale Character: Kate Age: 30 Job: Blacksmith at The Forge Location: Berk Faceclaim: Shiri Appleby  Status: Taken
PERSONALITY
+ loyal, ambitious, clever - abrasive, stubborn, fiery
BIOGRAPHY
Like many girls growing up in the 14th century, Kate’s marriage was arranged to better improve her family’s standing and provide her with the best chance of survival.  As the daughter of a farmer, being betrothed to a blacksmith was quite the improvement, especially in a time when jousting and tournaments were so popular.  At first, she was nervous to marry her future husband, but the man she would marry was kind and good.  He was patient with her as she settled into her new role, and allowed her the opportunity of learning a trade alongside him.  It was not difficult to fall in love with her Henry.  Days spent in the forge, him working on armor and her on horseshoes, not only developed a strong friendship and respect for each other, but a love that would stay with her long after his passing.
She didn’t often talk much about her husband or how he died, especially since here were so many different ways that a man could lose his life in those days.  While she always carried Henry in her heart, she did not let absence of him in her life stop her from living.  She continued smithing, but her specialty remained horseshoes.  It wasn’t until she met “Sir Ulrich von Liechtenstein” that she was given the opportunity to do much more.  After finding a place among his men, she decided to make him armor that was made specifically for him.  Over the course of a night, she managed to create a suit that was lighter and smaller, but just as strong, allowing the wearer to be faster and more agile without worrying about getting hurt.  Watching William thrive in the joust wearing armor she created was one of her greatest accomplishments.
Kate wasn’t unaccustomed to change, but there was a difference between becoming a widow and waking up in a completely new world.  However, just because it was more unexpected (and slightly terrifying) didn’t mean that she didn’t make the most of it.  She found a job at the Forge, where she was able to continue her work as a blacksmith but given more freedom to try creating other items other than armor.  Because she was without her crew, she’s returned to her more isolated way of living.  It’s easier to be alone than to try to make connections, especially since she wasn’t sure how long she would be staying in Fableton.  For all she knew, this could be some fever dream or purgatory before she rejoined her husband.
CONNECTIONS
Inigo Montoya: When Kate showed up in town, she knew she needed to get to work so she could make a living in the new world.  As appealing as attempting to open her own forge was, when she heard there was already one in town, she went to investigate.  There she met Inigo, who took a chance on her and gave her a job.  She’s determined to prove to him hiring her wasn’t a mistake.
Xavier Facilier: Growing up when she did, religion was a huge part of her life, and being in Fableton didn’t change that.  She met Doctor Facilier the first time she attended a service, and while he was good at holding services, there was something about him that rubbed her the wrong way.  She may see him every Sunday (which is more regular than she sees most other people), but that doesn’t mean she trusts him.

Name: Guinevere Pendragon Age:  27 Neighborhood: Olympus Job: Events Coordinator, Fableton Community Church Story: Folklore Character: Guinevere Faceclaim: Yvonne Strahovksi Status: Taken
PERSONALITY
+  resourceful, intelligent, discreet
- adulterous, cold, selfish
BIOGRAPHY
It was, perhaps, fitting for the patriarch that took over to pick her as a wife.  She, who had been born in humble beginnings.  Sure, she wasn’t feminine in the typical ways.  She was the youngest in a family of brothers and her mother died giving birth to her.  She was wild, raised by men and so comfortable in that situation they feared she would never meet a match who could handle her quick wit and fiery spirit.  She educated herself, reading what she could find, though resources were somewhat limited. When it was no less than the king no one had seen coming who asked for her hand, her father was all too quick to marry her off with absolutely no preparation -- not that he could have provided her with much anyway.
She’d been used to fending for herself, and had become good at doing it, but she didn’t necessarily want to.  Uncomfortable with her sudden, lavish surroundings, she found herself isolated in a whole new way.  Though she loved her husband, and especially loved riling him up, he spent more time away and fighting than he did with her.
Being comfortable around men, though, she found companionship in what some would consider a tawdry source.  Lancelot was around more than Arthur and withstood her teasing just as well, though her barbs had become half-hearted and rusty with disuse.  Her heart was torn, between the husband she had chosen and the man who was there.  Ultimately, the affair revealed to her she was probably the weak spot in their marriage, the reason for a fruitless union.  With no hope for the future left, she finally owned up to her deceit. She knew she’d broken Arthur’s heart, but she couldn’t bring herself to care. Certain death was better than the lie they’d been living.
Before the sentenced execution could be carried out, though, she found herself somewhere else entirely.  In an effort to remain mostly anonymous, but not alone, she has all but dedicated herself to the church in the small town.  While she rarely leaves, people come and go constantly and she’s found some measure of peace, although she suspects the owner is no less treacherous than Mordred from her own time, and will leave, or usurp him, when she feels it necessary to survive.
CONNECTIONS
Xavier Facilier:  Though he accepted the stranger who woke up on the front pew of his chapel with little information, and they superficially have a decent enough rapport, Guinevere doesn’t trust him for a moment.  Ultimately, she wants to take over the church and run it as her penance for her many sins, and he’s kind of in the way.
Robin Locksley: He’s hungry to provide community service and a reasonably intelligent man to converse with.  Though he’s very obviously taken with his wife, she finds his company refreshing.  He’s the only person she’s thought at all about revealing her identity to.

BASICS
Name: Christopher Robin Milne Story: Winnie the Pooh Character: Christopher Robin Age: 19 (9) Job: Unemployed Location: Sherwood Forest Faceclaim: Landon Liboiron Status: Closed OC
PERSONALITY
+ curious, empathetic, clever
- childish, erratic, fanciful
BIO SUMMARY (SEE UNDER THE CUT BELOW FOR FULL BIO, TW: MENTAL ILLNESS, HOSPITALS, MEDICATION, DELUSIONS, HALLUCINATIONS)
Christopher Robin was always told he had an active imagination. As a child, he grew up alone, left relatively alone by his parents, so he busied himself mostly in the forest near his home. He had his little collection of stuffed animals, and he dragged them all out with him so they could play together. His parents thought it was cute, that he would bring his toys, but they had no idea what actually happened once he reached the little clearing of the Hundred Acre Wood.
...
The summer Christopher Robin turned nine, he had some bad news for his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. He was meant to go to boarding school, which devastated him. He was a friendly child, yes, but a little eccentric, and other kids tended to make fun of him more so than anything else. He assured them he’d be back as soon as he could, and, bags packed, started out to London, for school.
...
At the Neverland Home for Children, where Christopher Robin grew up. He’s not any less eccentric, unfortunately, so the other kids tease him mercilessly, but now he is also without his friends. Try as he might, they just won’t come back to him.
When Christopher Robin was grown, he moved close to the forest, to be near to it all, as though that will help his plight.
CONNECTIONS
Xavier Facilier: Christopher Robin is a frequent flier at Doctor Facilier’s church, and he respects the preacher greatly, having no idea of the darker nature of Facilier’s dealings.

FULL BIOGRAPHY (BELOW)
Christopher Robin was always told he had an active imagination. As a child, he grew up alone, left relatively alone by his parents, so he busied himself mostly in the forest near his home. He had his little collection of stuffed animals, and he dragged them all out with him so they could play together. His parents thought it was cute, that he would bring his toys, but they had no idea what actually happened once he reached the little clearing of the Hundred Acre Wood.
His toys came alive, or so he thought, turned from stuffed bears and tigers and kangaroos into his friends, the only ones he had. Sure, he was the only one who could see them, but they were real to him, and that’s what matters. He had dozens, if not hundreds of adventures with them, they taught him things, and he taught them right back. It was the happiest Christopher Robin ever was. He was never quite sure whether it was magic within the stuffed animals, or within the forest itself, that caused them to come to life, but he wasn’t terribly picky about how it happened, so long as it happened.
He never arrived at the academy, however. The taxi he was taking went through a tunnel, and, after a crushing sensation that threatened to choke Christopher Robin, came out somewhere else on the other side. It pulled into a parking lot at random, leaving a bewildered and scared Christopher Robin alone in a new place, with his two suitcases of belongings and nothing else.
He ended up at the hospital, not knowing where else to go. He couldn’t really explain what had happened to him, but the hospital’s staff was sympathetic to his plight, and arranged for him to go to the local orphanage. It’s there, at the Neverland Home for Children, where Christopher Robin grows up. He’s not any less eccentric, unfortunately, so the other kids tease him mercilessly, but now he is also without his friends. Try as he might, they just won’t come back to him.
When Christopher Robin was grown, he moved close to the forest, to be near to it all, as though that will help his plight. When he told others of his friends, they referred him to a doctor, who diagnosed him as schizophrenic, and prescribed him medication, though he takes it very rarely. He withdrew into himself more, convinced that this world is out to get him, to make him believe he’s crazy. He started to talk to his friends, Pooh especially, as though they are still there, and he spent an alarming amount of time in the forest, hoping desperately that there’s still a bit of magic left in the trees.

Name: Dominik Rattenfänger Story: Pied Piper of Hamelin Character: The Pied Piper Age: 30 Job: Musician / Freelance music tutor Location: Halloweentown Faceclaim: Jack Falahee Status: Closed OC
PERSONALITY
+ {coming soon}
- {coming soon}
BIOGRAPHY
Dominik’s father was a German musician, that not only played his instruments, he built them. When his son was born, naturally, he started teaching him how to play the flute as soon as possible. Dominik showed a great gift with his music. It was as if he could hypnotize everyone around him with the tunes he played. He had a true passion for the instruments, especially the pipe, and the more he practiced the better he became, so much that his father was sure Dominik would take over the shop. But Dominik didn’t care much for staying in the same place, for settling down. He wanted to travel the kingdom, to know new places. When his father passed away, Dominik sold the music shop, and headed out. He played at taverns for money, and, during one of these shows, he discovered the tune that could enchant rats and mice. Everyone was in shock when, during Dominik’s act, the small critters started gathering around the stage, with blank eyes, not caring about the brooms and shoes that promptly stomped them to death. In a world that was plagued by the Black Death, Dominik realized that he could definitely win a lot of money with this new found ability.
In his travels, and after making name for himself, he came across the town of Hamelin. The town was plagued by an overpopulation of mice and rats, and Dominik found his opportunity. After speaking with the Mayor about his work as a mouse-catcher, the mayor promised him a large amount of money, if he could take care of the infestation. He played his flute, as he walked through town, and the mice followed him. He guided the critters to the river, and with the next notes of his flute, they all jumped into the quick currents, drowning, and dying. Satisfied with his work. Dominik returned to town for his payment. When the mayor refused to pay at all, Dominik became angry, and walked out of town, with the promise that, one way or another, the town would pay. A few days later, he return to town, and this time, he played a new tune. The children were hypnotized, and followed him into the woods. He hid them in a cave, and left, leaving them to their luck. The townsfolk never found the children again, and he never returned to Hamelin.
A year after that, Dominik woke up with a strange feeling that something was different. He woke up by the side of the road, the only clue to where he was, was a sign saying “Welcome to Fableton”. Trying to find out what happened, he went into town, thinking that maybe the people of Hamelin had found him and tried to get back at him for having kidnapped the children. The truth, however, was slightly more terrifying. He was in a completely different place, in a completely different time. It took Dominik a while to get used to this, but he was, obviously curious to know what happened. He had a feeling that the town itself had something to do with this sudden change, so he stayed here. He learned that here, his music no longer had such a strong effect on people and animals. He could no longer hypnotize them, but the music he played was still nearly irresistible, enough to make people want to listen to it. He took advantage of it, and, in order to keep food on the table, and a roof over his head, he found work as a music tutor, and a musician in his spare time, playing at town events and clubs, wherever he was wanted, really.
CONNECTIONS
Xavier Facilier: As a music tutor, often times Dominik is requested to help out the church’s choir. Not only that, but Dominik often comes to the pastor asking to participate in the events he throws, playing his instruments at many of them.
Megara Valis: Nightworld is one of Dominik’s favorite spots in town. Often times, he shows up at the club during Megara’s shift, and she has become a familiar face to him, even though he has never even told her his name. She knows what drinks he likes to order, though, so he is happy enough about that.
