connect📨 Stark, Oliver.
Karlie: i'm not going to lie to you here, your "dating me like" section has me super curious because i'm not entirely positive of what a tattooed golden retriever would look like & i always enjoy breakfast in bed haha. Karlie: but i'm really conflicted on the two truths & a lie, i'm leaning towards the sleeping with the doll from Disney World but i'm wondering if your last name might not really be Stark. Karlie: & if it is Stark are you somehow related to fictitious character of Tony Stark? if you aren't, please lie to me & tell me you are because my nerdy little heart would explode. 😂

Karlie: the fact that you were in two separate productions of Mama Mia playing two different characters is mind bogglingly impressive! Karlie: i also see that you enjoy cooking! do you have a favorite recipe that you'd be open to sharing with a fellow woman who loves to both bake & cook herself?

Karlie: for me to pick out which is the lie i'd have to know what an OBE is because without that information i couldn't tell you what i think the actual lie is haha. Karlie: but i also enjoy spending a lazy Sunday with my kiddos. so i can totally relate to you on that one!

Karlie: i honestly just feel honored to hear you say that. i will do my very best to have some fresh brownies & a good home cooked meal if you're going to go to the trouble of making time for me. i at least have to make it worth your wild. Karlie: oh it's a super secret mom trick. the next time you get a cold, i'll let you in on it. i mean, i feel like it's a lot more common than people would think. but it felt like a whole new thing when my mom told me about it haha Karlie: oh goodness i didn't even think about it that way! you are totally right, just imagine your great grandparents or your grandma & you have to face them going in knowing that they saw all of it. 😲 just the straight up embarrassment. i don't think that my friend & i have even come close to talking about that thought yet haha Karlie: 😂 i am glad that someone can appreciate a well baked dino nugget! it takes a lot of effort to get the right cheese consistency in a good mac & cheese. that's where the *chef's kiss* comes in with that part of the meal & makes me a pretty darn good cook. if i do say so myself! i promise you i do feed them vegetables though. i feel like this makes me sound like i don't but those dino nuggies are a special treat kind of thing or honestly when i'm just too tired to try & make a whole meal for them that they probably won't eat haha i won't lie to you, i've stolen a nuggie or two myself over the years. they don't know how many i have to cut up to fill their plates.
Oli: please do as I am painted just as excited to meet up with you. And if I have to work around my own schedule I will do so Oli: I'm sure you do, but still no need to get a cold, I would feel responsible for it because i am one sending you the french toast. Are you going to tell me this mum trick that you have? Or do I need to have a cold around you first? Oli: There are some places that nothing should go in. I agree with the embarrassment of it and if it's the thing that took you out how do face anyone upstairs about that when they ask you how you left the earth! Oli: She is the best, honestly. I miss her a lot. Your boys sound so sweet! And listen a well prepared dino nugget is the best thing in the world. Worlds best cook!

Karlie: sounds like a plan! i'll have to let you know when i get in so that you can fit me into your busy schedule! color me an excited woman. Karlie: oh honey, trust me, i know how to bundle up in the city. i definitely appreciate your concern, though! i've also lived through my fair share of the sniffles & sneezes over the years. if i do happen to catch a cold i know how to quickly knock it out. a little mom trick my mom taught me over the years. Karlie: it is terrible but it leads to the funniest stories. but i think that it's terrible that people feel the need to do that. i'm sure it offers some.... certain pleasures but i simply can not imagine placing myself in that kind of situation. especially thinking about the embarrassment & guts it must take to call the hospital to have yourself taken to the emergency room altogether. Karlie: that definitely makes you one of the very, very few. wow, i'm starting to enjoy your mother so much already & i don't even know the woman. she's definitely raised a fine young man. i don't mind sharing food honestly. it's kind of nice, especially when i make a different dinner than the boys. i liked when they wanted to try my food. it's always a joy to hear "mommy is such a good cook". because apparently the chicken nuggies that they wanted could never taste as good as the fact that i actually take the time to put love & attention into my meals. not that i don't shove their dino chicken nuggies in the oven with love or anything haha
Oli: I would love to meet up with you. That sounds lovely. I will try my hardest to make up for that fact as best as I can. Oli: One of the best french toasts in New York coming up. But please stay bundled up, I hear its freezing in New York right now and I don't want you getting a cold. Oli: Oh lord it does seem to always be that doesn't it? Why do people think that everything can be placed there... Oli: I can promise you that there are men out there that don't leave their underwear and socks next to the hamper, you are speaking to one. My mum taught me well. No the sharing food thing I can't say I don't ask to share food.

Karlie: honestly, it's kind of like riding a bike. once you learn it it's darn near impossible to un-learn. it does take a significant amount of time to learn. but once you've got it, you've got it. it's just something you've got to want. i suppose you could relate it to singing. some people are born with the ability, others have to learn. & those who have to learn must first want to learn.
Mazz: It really is so much fun. It doesn't get any better. Mazz: I don't even know how to do coding. I wouldn't even know where to start with all that kind of stuff.

Karlie: it was mostly a lot of my ex telling me how much he wanted to have a family & me finally giving in. then i finally realized how much i loved being a mommy. Karlie: i hope so. i'm excited for him. i guess we'll just have to see when the time comes how well it goes for us both.
Gareth: I get the whole spacing them out. There is the few years between my two. Oh I bet he was. Gareth: When you see how happy they are then you will be fine.

Karlie: well, lucky for you, i'm visiting a few friends out in LA next week. maybe we can meet up then... i've got a nice apartment right on the beach in Venice. you can make up for the fact that you're on the opposite coast then? & we can have some wonderful French toast then! Karlie: -insert address here- you're still more than welcome to send me some now though, i can wait outside for the uber eats guy so the boys don't hear the bell ring haha. Karlie: that is definitely a great thing to have! oh definitely i bet so. i've got a nurse friend back home in Chicago & she has told me some of the craziest things that come in there. mostly having to do with people "accidentally" getting items stuck in places that they don't belong.... Karlie: oh goodness, so you're telling me that they're going to be like this forever? haha! no, honestly i knew that! i was married once, i totally understand what it's like to have a thirty-something year old toddler to take care of 😂 i mean he's a great father & parent to the boys but it can be pretty annoying picking up underwear & socks that are placed directly next to the hamper or right outside of the laundry room. i didn't have to share my food as much with him though.
Oli: Damn, I'm in LA or I would totally come over and make you some homemade french toast and if those boys woke up I would make it for them too. And I not to toot my own horn but I am pretty good at wrangling toddlers. Oli: If I had address I would so send you the best french toast in town Oli: That is best thing to have is supportive family. Even if my parents weren't thrilled about me moving to LA when I was 24 but they are supportive. Exactly, though I have spoke to some ER people and some first responder and you would be amazed at some of the crazy shit that does happen. Oli: I mean listen both of those things are like the most important things to not only toddler boys but also 33 year boys as well.

Karlie: you must be a real super hero. where do you hide your superman suit, Harry? Karlie: they do! they sound rather fancy! wow! that is crazy but i'm sure you wouldn't change any of it for the world. i bet they are also all great kiddos.
Harry: You can say that again. Training, playing and bringing up four children. Harry: I have never thought about how regal they sounded. People seemed surprised when they realize I was only 23 when my oldest was born. I can understand what you mean.

Karlie: that is so right! dancing & singing to Abba is the best time in general & then getting to do it with friends makes it sound even better! Karlie: i have a coding camp that teaches little girls how to do all kinds of coding with HTML & things of that sort. really it just helps them to get some very important jobs later on in life. they are already super smart when they get there it's just a little help for their resumes.
Mazz: Yes. That would be one of the best surprises to have. Mazz: I mean how can singing and dancing to Abba with friends not be fun. Oh, that does sound wonderful what you do to help girls.

Karlie: haha i really don't know what i would do if i had another little one right now. we had been trying to space them out but Elijah was a bit more of a surprise than Levi was. he was totally planned. Karlie: well i am so glad that you have faith in my ability to not fall apart in the parking lot haha.
Gareth: Haha. I think if everyone thought that, that would be the case. Thankfully that isn't the case. Gareth: I am sure you will. The first day will be tough but you will get used to it. Take it from someone with experience.

Karlie: i'm in New York City. in my home. currently binge watching Charmed for the fifteenth time. really? because if my boys catch even a wif of this amazing sounding French toast, i'm going to have to deal with wild toddlers for the next God knows how long. Karlie: oh yeah, he's super cool. i've always admired him for the majority of the things that he's done in my life & for me more importantly than anything else. he's a great dad. so supportive. i believe that all the love is one hundred percent real. but i suppose it's like Greys Anatomy they talk about how inaccurate the scenarios are including things that happen in the operating rooms but it's still a show that people can't take their eyes off of. Karlie: you should absolutely be biased. i bet she's amazing! honestly at this point as long as i have a snack for them & always put on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when they want it. i am the best mommy in the world. it's also way better when i let them have some of my awesome French toast & let them try anything that i have first to make sure that they don't want any of it before i finish my meal haha.
Oli: My mum didn't raise no fool. Where are you located? Because I would totally make you some. And I can be really quiet Oli: Wow that is such a amazing thing to do. I think you are totally allow to biased because that shit is really something to be admired. Oli: Oh I am sure that half the things that happen on that show and have happened to Buck in general would never happen outside of the show but that's the fun of TV right? But the love inside the houses and stations is totally real. Oli: I mean it's totally true. Oh my mum is the best, I might be biased but she really is a powerhouse. Oh I am sure your boys feel so lucky to have you as their mum.

Karlie: i bet so, darling! i am sure that you are one busy busy man! Karlie: oh my goodness, i love those names. so regal & fancy! i love it! i just never pictured myself being someone with kids but then i met my ex husband & we had a great life. things just kind of fell into place & he always wanted kids. so we decided to give it our best shot.
Harry: It keeps me busy. I don't know if I would have believed anyone if they told me I would have four children by the age I am now. Harry: They are lovely names. Mine are Ivy, Vivienne, Louis and Henry. I knew I wanted a family before I had them and I know that I couldn't imagine not having them.

Karlie: oh absolutely! some of the best things in my life have been surprises! finding out i was pregnant with my second little boy was a complete surprise! Karlie: that is so awesome! i love that you enjoy your work so much that it doesn't feel like work at all! i think that sometimes in my job that i have so much fun. especially with my Coding Camps for girls. i always have so much fun with that. watching them learn is so wonderful.
Mazz: It really does. But sometimes that is the best way. When it takes you by surprise like that. Mazz: I have been told that before. If I am being honest, as busy as I am, doing what I do is so much fun so it doesn't feel like work.
