very uhh strange?? symptom of abuse/neglect/parents who are generally untrustworthy and don't give a fuck abt you is that im very independant and self sufficient which is mostly a good thing but occasionally annoying bcuz i dont have the capability?? to ask for help??? not like im ashamed of it or feel uncomfortable or anything like it LITERALLY doesn't cross my mind as a possible option that i could ask for help or talk to someone about something im going through. dont communicate very well with people in my life because i dont get why anybody would care about even MAJOR changes in my life like if im moving houses or having an important medical procedure. im very in my own head

i never had parents who i was supposed to tell where i was going or about doctors appointments or school and life stuff etc and i DEFINITELY couldnt depend on them to do things like drive me somewhere or be on time for an appointment so i stopped asking. people get annoyed at me a lot for this irl because i don't communicate or ask for help but like?? why would i trust other people to be there when i know that they won't be from past experiences
