BIO: tw: sexual abuse
Fauna was born laughing, the smile on her little face when she entered the world is a story that delighted her mother everytime she told it. The little girl proceeded to take most of life with an equal amount of levity. Giggling her way through school and social interaction alike. Yet despite her smile and apparently inability to take things seriously, Fauna was excelling. Her family were stunned when tests came back with full marks, when her teachers suggested that Fauna was showing signs of having an IQ far above average. When they asked Fauna about it, she simply shrugged and said that she just “like got it.” Such was Fauna’s apparent lack of interest in her marks that her mother was worried she might be cheating. But after watching her complete her homework they realised that behind Fauna’s smile she was secretly working as hard as she could. Nobody could work out why Fauna refused to talk to them about her talents or why whenever they quizzed her about working hard she shrugged them off but they supposed as long as she got good grades it didn’t really matter.
Fauna didn’t want to get into it with her family, she loved her siblings but she wasn’t sure that they would understand. While her Dad had always been open to her exploring any passion she might have she also noted how he treated submissives. She didn’t think he would approve of her aspirations of medical school if she was ever marked submissive and so she kept her mouth shut, just in case. She enjoyed the trips back and forth from Ireland to America, getting to see more of the world made her open her horizons to all kinds of possibilities. Childhood gave way into tweendom and suddenly Fauna noticed that people were watching her. She flirted with their gazes a little, but she never really paid them all that much mind until her mother booked her private lessons with Drayton March. She was thirteen, and he was almost twenty three but he treated her like she was much older. They talked about her future, and how she wanted to be a surgeon one day. Drayton told her he supported her dream, and that she would be a great doctor one day. In between the pages of her advanced science textbooks, he gave her very her first kisses. He told her how pretty she was, what a good girl she was, and how much he wanted her. That they’d be together forever he promised, but he can’t wait to have her, it has to be now. So Fauna gave up her virginity to him. He quit as her tutor the next day.
Fauna never told anyone about what happened and instead she threw herself into high school. Fauna was excelling in aceing her classes and had become relatively popular when she was befriended by another girl in her class named Charlotte. The two girls got very close and eventually friendship turned to a romantic and sexual relationship and Fauna had really begun to fall for Charlotte when the rumours started. “Apparently that one slutty girl in our class will get on her knees for anyone.”
“ She’s been around the block a lot, so she’ll do anything that you say as long as you tell her that you’re friends.” Fauna didn’t want to believe that the rumours started with Charlotte, but she couldn’t hide from what was staring her plain in the face. When she confronted her, Charlotte shrugged and unapologetically explained away her actions with. “I didn’t think you thought this was anymore than a fuck.” Fauna laughed it off and pretended like her heart wasn’t broken and vowed to embrace her reputation, after all nobody could use her sexuality as a weapon if she already owned it. After that the lovers blurred together for a while. She didn’t take any time to imagine a relationship with any of them anymore. They only ever wanted one thing anyway, she’s not the kind of girl that they wanted to build a life with. They just want to have their fun. She knew that the teachers talked about her, and that they looked down on her. That girl who was is fucking half the class. But she didn’t care, her grades were still the highest one day they would regret underestimating her. The trips to New York were always a welcome escape, in New York nobody knew about her reputation. She could just be Fauna again.
She graduated from high school top of her class and with aspirations to become a paediatric surgeon. Hoping that she would be marked as a Switch so that she could focus on academics instead of on the relationships that she sucked at so badly. But she wasn’t all that surprised by the submissive mark, since she was so well known for getting on her knees
BIO QUESTIONS:
What are your feelings about the mark you have received?
I think it’s probably about right, I’ve never been shy about following orders so that I could make friends. I do like submitting in the sexual way so it’s probably for the best. I don’t have the attention span for dominance ya know? I’d probably just forget to give out a punishment or like get super bored with the rules I put in place and change them up for something more fun.
How do your feelings on the system compare to your parents’ feelings on it?
I mean my dad is all work and no play, and runs his relationships like the military. I just think there’s no need to put so much pressure on the whole D/s thing to be honest. It’s just biology, there’s no need to make it your whole damn personality. I want people to be thinking about Fauna the person rather than Fauna the sub.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully in a hospital with an ass that still won’t quit performing a life saving surgery on a particularly cute kid named Freddie. I’ll probably be on my like eighth bash at a claim with some hot older woman who left her husband to be with me or something.
Describe what terrifies you the most.
How quickly everything can go to shit, like you can think that your life is perfect and all of a sudden everything starts falling apart. Footballers at the top of their game breaking their leg and never being able to play a game again. That kind of shit. It fucks me up. I don’t know what I’d do if I could just suddenly never be a doctor, like dude that’s my whole dream.

Special Affair (Bruce Wayne x Reader)
A/N: Remember like a month or two or however many ago when I was on a jealousy kick? c: This is just a little intermission snack for some Bruce/HANK (I MISS HIM) requests I’m workin’ on~ ♥
Word Count: 1936
“Again, I can’t express enough how thankful I am that you all came here tonight and how supportive you’ve been. I just wanted to remind everyone that the charity auction will be ending shortly, so don’t forget to place any last bids while you still can! Enjoy the rest of your night.” I stepped away from the mic stand and went back to all of my guests. I was hosting a sort of thank you dinner for Gotham Outreach, a non-profit organization myself and some college friends started to help the youth of this city. It was also the celebration of our first year running and I couldn’t have asked for more success for a starter organization.
I was enjoying a laugh and champagne with my co-founders when I noticed a guest freeing himself from an older set of donors. “Bruce Wayne… I haven’t seen you all night, thought my invitation got lost in the mail.”
“I was stuck in meetings all day but made sure to carve out my evening for this very special occasion.”
I smiled. Never for a moment did he fail to be charming. “You know Mr. and Mrs. Dunham?”
“They were long time friends of my parents. I grew up around their grandson.”
 “I see.”
“This is an amazing turnout. I believe congratulations are in order.”
“Thank you, thank you. Yeah, it’s beautiful isn’t it? I never imagined things would be this great.”
“And I see some of the kids you’ve helped here.”
I shook my head and looked around the event hall. “No… We all helped them. Everyone here, every donation, every helping hand. We all changed their lives.”
“Y/N?” I turned around at the sound of my name from a vaguely familiar voice to see the face of an old friend.
 “Oh my G- Teddy??”
He laughed and reached for a hug. “It’s so good to see you, Y/N!”
“Yes yes, it’s been so long! Oh my goodness!”
He turned to Bruce before extending his hand. “Bruce Wayne, a pleasure to meet you.”
“Oh my gosh- Bruce, this is Tedd- I’m sorry. Dr. Theodore Durant.”
“Nice to meet you, Dr. Durant.”
“Please, call me Theo. The pleasure’s mine. It’s not everyday you get to meet Mr. Wayne Enterprises himself.”
“I thought you were still in Syria?” I cut in before this became a boys club meeting.
“I was up until two days ago when I remembered I had a very important charity event to attend.”
I rolled my eyes. “Please, tell me you didn’t stop saving lives for champagne in Gotham.”
“Champagne in Gotham with a very dear friend. Congratulations, Y/N.”
“Thank you, Teddy.” I felt my face burn and took a sip from my champagne glass in attempt to hide any visible redness.
“Saving lives?” Bruce asked, eyes suddenly staring dead into mine. If I wasn’t red before his stare would surely do the trick.
“Oh, umm- Teddy’s busying himself lately doing some Doctors Without Borders work overseas. His latest venture was in Syria.”
“Doctors Without Borders, that’s amazing. What kind of work are you doing?”
“Pediatrics,” Teddy answered. “You know in another life, this one would have been right beside me doing the same thing,” he spoke, pointing his glass in my direction.
“Oh no no. You see, I thought I could handle pediatrics until I thought of another more suitable way I could help out children.”
“And here you are today…” The way Teddy spoke those words…  I looked at him and it seemed like he was in absolute awe of me. I wasn’t used to people being in awe, being proud of me. It was an unfamiliar but amazing feeling.
“So you two… met in med school?” Bruce questioned.
I snapped out of my haze, looking at him. “No, we met in undergrad school. We started dating a little ways through our second year.”
 “Oh. You two dated previously?”
“Yes, but ended it after about five years and some change. Teddy was completely swamped getting prepared for med school and I was working with the co-founders here trying to plan the future of the Outreach. Two very busy times in both our lives, it wasn’t fair to either of us to try to carve out time for a relationship.”
“I see. Admittedly I’m familiar with that unfortunate predicament.”
“Billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, relationship struggles? I wouldn’t believe that if I saw it with my own two eyes,” Teddy said before chuckling, shaking his head and drinking from his glass.
“Trust me, it’s not as easy as some think.”
“Teddy’s been generous enough to donate and send families in need of help to the Outreach. He’s been a great help, even all the way across the world.”
“Well Gotham’s home. I don’t have to be here to want the best for this city. The best for you… Besides, you know my upbringing; I wish I had a Gotham Outreach when I was coming up-”
“-Oh please, because you just turned out so terribly-”
“- Hey, just because I turned my coal to diamonds doesn’t mean I didn’t wish I had more help along the way, alright?” We laughed together, Bruce silently huffing a laugh to himself before Teddy parted ways to make his rounds. He was only in town for a short while and had more familiar faces to catch up with, and while he insisted I refused to hog his time to myself.
I shook my head to myself. “I can not believe he actually came. I thought it was wishful thinking sending him that invite, thinking word would ever get to him…”
“Don’t think you’re worth the trip?”
I rolled my eyes and made my way over to the bar to grab another glass of champagne as Bruce walked with me. “He came here for the same reasons everyone else did: to support the Outreach.”
Bruce nodded to himself. “Perhaps. Then again, maybe he gets a little lonely all the way in Syria…”
I laughed. “Sometimes it shocks me when you let your sense of humor come out to play.”
 “Oh, am I joking now?”
“What is it, Bruce? You wanna be the only handsome philanthropist in my life?” I teased.
 “So you think he’s handsome?”
I laughed again. Of course he’d ignore the fact I was calling him handsome, too. “Here,” I said as I handed him a glass of bubbly, also grabbing one for myself. “Have a glass of champagne, maybe two. Loosen up and enjoy yourself, okay? I’m gonna go personally thank a few more people, check on the auction. You owe me a dance before you leave, you hear me?”
“Well, can’t end the night without a dance, can we?”
I grinned as I slowly backed away from him before turning around to tend to some of my other guests. When the time came for the winners of auction bids to be announced I took to the podium with the other co-founders and called names. As I walked down the stairs of the stage to return to the party, my partner Micah made his way back to the mic. “What better way to top off a beautiful evening of charity than to say that not only have we met our goal for tonight, but we are nearly twelve grand over! That being said we’re very grateful and are closing donations for the night; of course, any donations after tonight can be received through the Gotham Outreach website...” I listened for another second before hearing a familiar name. I looked around the room, at everyone applauding, before finding Bruce sipping from his glass. Once we made eye contact I made my way over to him. He rested his glass on the bar before I grabbed him by the hand to pull him to the floor for the dance I told him to save for me.
We stared at each other and said nothing as we swayed side to side to the music the live band was playing. At least, we said nothing until he smirked and said a polite congrats to me.
I shook my head and rolled my eyes. “Thank you, Bruce. And you can relax now. You know he brought a date, right? She had an emergency surgery and had to leave shortly before we ran into each other.”
“A date when he clearly came to see you? What a fool.”
“Well he wasn’t the one that donated an absurd amount of money to score some extra points with me. I know you didn’t bid in the auction, and I heard Micah mumbling your name after announcing we reached our goal. I’m sorry, we far surpassed our goal”
“What you call absurd I call the least I can do.”
“Now you should be ashamed of yourself, Bruce Wayne. Using a time like this as an opportunity to strut like a peacock.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about; I was moved by a good cause.”
“If we’re being honest, a charity event isn’t the worst place to have a pissing match...”
“There we go, finding the silver lining.”
“Jokes aside, you know money doesn’t impress me. He’s donated just like you have, and you’ve both helped in other ways, too. This isn’t a who does it better contest, especially when you’re both so great at different things.”
“Who said I was trying to impress you? I’m just as interested in helping Gotham’s youth as anyone here.”
“You know, I’m in such an amazing mood tonight that I’m gonna choose to believe that.”
He smiled. “I’m glad to hear it. Now how good of a mood are we talking?” he mumbled after dropping his voice an octave or two, leaning closer to me.
I chuckled. “You’d like to know, wouldn’t you?”
“If I were a lesser man I would have kissed you here in front of him and everyone else already, although that’s not to say I don’t want to…”
“You know I’m not kissing you in public. The last thing I want is to be plastered on the front of a newspaper as Bruce Wayne’s next conquest.”
“Fine, then kiss me in the car on the way to my place.”
 “Ever the Lothario.”
“Always a gentleman first. You’re in such a great mood, I can only think of one way to finish this night... ”
I sighed. “You make a strong argument, Wayne.” His grip tightened just enough for me to look up at him into his eyes, kind but something less gentlemanly lurking behind them. Something feral. I had to look away if I was gonna stick to that no kissing in public rule. “I can’t just leave them to wrap up here.”
He brought his hand from my waist to my forehead before his brow furrowed slightly. “You know… I thought you were looking a little green, but now…” He nodded to himself. “Now I see you feel a bit warm, too. I think you may have had a bit too much to drink, don’t you?” The corner of his mouth turned upward a bit before he winked at me. I laughed and shook my head. Who would have thought, Bruce of all people telling me to play hooky and ditch clean up duty.
“... Tell them you saw me dash for the bathroom, looking pretty bad, then come get me.”
“I’ll text you when the car’s outside ready for you. Now go.”
“You’re fun when you misbehave, Wayne,” I purred as I pulled my bottom lip between my teeth, backing away from him to head to the ladies’ room.
“You haven’t seen me in action yet…”

Take It All Back
Part Seven
Summary: Journey starts a new school year. Jensen’s excitement over the baby clouds over Journey’s concerns. Pairing: Jensen x OFC (Journey) Word Count: 1780 Warnings: Pregnancy, mild drinking.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Journey had never been so grateful for the start of the school year. Since she had told Jensen about the baby, his elation over the matter hadn’t seem to stop or slow. Journey figured he knew that she was still worried, and he was trying to overcome that with an abundance of optimism.
It was almost too much for Journey. She had nearly convinced herself that this baby wouldn’t make it to term either; too many good things had been happening on the tail of some really awful things. Surely life wouldn’t stay that way.
“Journey?”
She looked up from her desk to see her friend Valerie, the speech-language pathologist. “Hey, Val. What’s up?”
“You look lost in thought. Everything okay?”
Journey nodded. “Fine.”
“All right.” Valerie looked unconvinced but continued anyway. “You’ve got a new kiddo. The family is in the office.”
Journey thanked Valerie for coming to let her know. She quickly found a stopping point on her paperwork for some of her other students, then headed to the office.
“Oh, here’s our teacher of the deaf,” the principal introduced. “Journey Ackles. She works with our elementary school students. Mrs. Ackles, this is Abby, your new student.”
“Hi Abby,” Journey smiled, crouching down to the small child’s level. “I’m Ms. Journey. What grade are you in?”
The minute Journey started speaking with her hands, Abby’s demeanor changed. The small child told Journey that she was in first grade, she had loved her old school and had lots of deaf friends, but Mom got a new job, so Abby and Dad came with Mom to the new city and there was no deaf school. Few things delighted Journey more than seeing tiny little hands flying in communication.
“I’m sure that was hard, leaving all your friends. You are special Abby, you know why? Because you’re the only deaf first grader! You might be a little lonely at first, but I will be your friend, and I bet before long, all of the first graders will want to be your friend.”
Abby grinned and asked if she could see Journey’s classroom. Journey glanced at Abby’s parents, who both agreed they would like to see the deaf education classroom, and perhaps discuss some things about Journey’s philosophy of teaching deaf children.
“Our daughter is profoundly deaf,” Abby’s mother explained. “She was born that way, and we don’t know why. It’s taken some fighting with the insurance and a lot of research, but we’ve decided to look into cochlear implants for her.”
This was always a tough conversation for Journey. It was her personal opinion that implants were not an answer; too many hearing parents mistook the devices for a cure. Abby’s parents had mentioned they had done research though, so Journey put on her best smile.
“Well, we have an excellent team to help her adjust during the surgery. In the meantime, I use a more English-oriented signing modality, to help the kids with their language development. Do you have Abby’s paperwork from her old school?”
Abby’s father was quick to supply the requested information. While the young girl played, Journey spent the next hour and a half going over the information with Abby’s parents.
By the time the family left, Journey was absolutely enchanted with Abby. She wasn’t sure that the girl’s parents understood what was going on with their daughter, or if they had taken Abby’s opinion into consideration at all. Just the same, Journey couldn’t wait to start working with Abby.
She told Jensen about her new student over supper that night, chatting on and on while Jensen ate and she hardly touched her food.
“So if our kid is deaf, you wouldn’t want to get the surgery?”
Journey wasn’t ready for that question. She was content to talk about her new student, not have another reason to worry about her unborn baby.
She took a deep breath and re-focused on her plate. “Let’s get through this pregnancy first, Jay.”
Jensen nodded. “You’re right. One adventure at a time.”
Journey continued eating. She had done so well with thinking about Abby and not about the baby, but Jensen’s question had brought it all right back to the forefront of her mind.
“I told my dad today.”
“Told him what?” Journey asked, praying Jensen wasn’t talking about what she assumed he was talking about.
Jensen sighed. “You’re nine weeks, Journ. That’s when we told everyone last time.”
“And I specifically told you I wanted to wait until we were into our second trimester before telling anyone this time! That’s five more weeks, and you couldn’t wait?”
She got up with her plate and dropped it in the sink. She was so angry and hurt; how could Jensen do this to her?
“This isn’t just about you, you know,” Jensen snapped, also standing up from his chair. “This is my baby too!”
“You’re right, it is. It’s by the grace of God you and I are even in a place where this baby could come to be! Jensen, I lost our first baby so quickly – so easily – why is it so hard for you to understand that maybe this time I don’t want to include everyone if we lose this baby, too?”
“Right, you don’t want to include everyone – do you even want to include me, Journey?”
She just stared at him; in that moment, she realized that was a legitimate question. On top of her fears in general of losing this baby, too, was the fear that he would give her every reason to close off again.
Unable to communicate with her husband just then, to talk about everything that had gone wrong before, Journey walked out of the kitchen and went upstairs, locking herself in their bedroom.
Jensen threw his head back in frustration. Just when he thought that he was making headway with Journey, she pushed him away again. He was at a loss. Maybe there was something he was missing, something he didn’t know about. Looking around at the messy kitchen, their practically untouched dinner plates, and decided he needed to get out. He needed to have a drink, and there was only one person he could think of who might be able to help him understand what Journey was thinking.
Halen met him at the same bar where they had celebrated their twenty-first birthdays. It was the same bar where they had celebrated when Halen got engaged to Rachel, and again when Journey and Jensen got engaged. It was where they shared a beer after Halen announced that Rachel was pregnant.
All of those memories came to Jensen secondhand as he pulled into the parking lot. It was the same as the moment at the reunion when the memories of Journey’s miscarriage flooded into his brain. Taking some deep breaths when the memories stopped coming, Jensen put his keys in his pocket, made sure he had his wallet, then headed in to meet Halen.
“Took handing over the credit card to get Rachel not to call Journey,” Halen said when Jensen took the seat next to him. “I’ll send you her shopping bill.”
Jensen chuckled. “Well, beers are on me, then.”
“Fair enough,” Halen ceded. “So what’s going on?”
“Start us a tab, would you?” he asked the bartender when their first tall boys were set on coasters in front of them. “I’m probably going to get in trouble for telling you this, but Journey’s pregnant again.”
“Hey, congrats!” Halen smiled, clinking his glass against Jensen’s.
Jensen gave the ghost of smile. “Thanks. Journey wanted to wait until she was more like thirteen or fourteen weeks, but I’m so excited. I’m so happy about this baby, about a second chance I feel like we’re getting. A second chance I feel like I’m getting. Anyway, I told my dad because I had to tell someone.”
“And Journey freaked out,” Halen summed up for him. “She’s scared, Jay. You two have been joined at the hip since you moved onto the block. When everything else went down and she lost the first baby, Journey thought she was going to lose you, too. Even when you stayed, when you tried to make it work, she was still waiting for the other shoe to drop.”
“I don’t know what else to do to show her that I’m not going anywhere. That all I’ve ever really wanted is this life with her.”
Halen winced. “That’s going to be tricky. I hate to tell you, but I think you’ve still got some groveling to do.”
Jensen shook his head. “I don’t know how things with me and Journ got so … I don’t know. Upside down.”
“We all make mistakes,” Halen said, finishing off his first beer and signaling the bartender for another round. “Life gets in the way. It isn’t a fairy tale, man. You and Journey were the perfect couple, right up until you weren’t. Isn’t easy to get back to that.”
Jensen knew that Halen was right. They had a couple more rounds, then decided it was best to get back home to their wives.
When Jensen got to the house, all of the lights were off. He went to the kitchen to put his keys on the hook, and saw that everything had been cleaned up. Treading carefully up to the bedroom, he saw that Journey was already in her nightgown. Her hair was braided over her shoulder.
Jensen quietly changed into his pajamas and crawled into bed. He pulled Journey against him and kissed just behind her ear.
“You’ve been out drinking,” Journey said.
Jensen couldn’t stop one end of his mouth from tugging upwards. “Thought you were sleeping.”
She reached to turn on the lamp next to the bed, and rolled to her back. “You left.”
Jensen swallowed. “I didn’t know what to do, Journey. I don’t know what to do to show you that I’m not going anywhere – that we’re going to be okay.”
“I’m really scared,” she whispered, Tears filled her eyes, spilling over when she blinked.
Jensen kissed each cheek, and then her lips. “I know you are, babe. But you’re not in this alone. I’m not going anywhere, and this baby is going to be just fine. You call tomorrow and see how soon they can get you in for a check-up, just to be on the safe side. I’ll go with you. Okay?”
Journey sniffled back her tears and nodded. “Okay.”
Jensen smoothly reached over to turn off the lamp and kissed his wife in the process. Journey’s tears turned to giggles as Jensen continued to kiss her, sneaking his hand along her bare thigh and up under her nightgown.
