Since Apollo is the sun god he could theoretically give Leo fire/fire like abilities again. Would Apollo realize that's like the worst possible power to give back to Leo or think he was doing him a favor. or I guess just not even cross his mind to give them to him

“I burned the tree.” Leo blurted out and Will dropped the bandages he’d been rolling up. The bundle hit the ground of the infirmary, unraveling across the room.

“What.”

“I burned the tree, it was screaming from the poison before I did, you know how it is with injuries and us but I burned as much of the poison out as I could back when the Stolls fell asleep on watch and now that the tree is just a tree and Thalia’s back and has—“ he choked on the words, chest heaving and Leo folded in on himself, sinking to the ground.

Camp can’t know, he knows this. Apollo hadn’t meant to pass Leo fire really, but Leo had already had fire once, he’d been susceptible to getting flares. He’d gotten solar flares, they were so much brighter than his first fire and so much more dangerous.
