          an unwilling situation on behalf of their manager -- the cafe had been undergoing repairs since an incidental fire had nearly burned half of the kitchen. he hung around the doorway of the building, not even dressed in uniform yet. he’d been cleaning the windows.

  “Hmm... I wouldn’t want to turn you away so close to opening,   though. If you’re here to order something, I wouldn’t mind taking   care of it for you -- though I’m afraid it isn’t the correct way to   experience a maid and butler cafe...”

– i don’t currently have much in terms of ocs i’m planning, simply because i’ll end up with more and more and more until i die. :0 but one idea i’ve had for a while (and i do believe i’ve mentioned before) is a reaper - only, a very unconventional type. this one in particular is a rather aggressive-looking young lady, very punkish in appearance with a ‘screw the rules’ devil-may-care kind of attitude. she owns a taxi - your standard yellow cab, probably decked out on the inside with leopard-print seat covers, trinkets and all manner of odd little items such as figurines, stickers, jewellery hanging on the rear-view mirror - and in it picks up souls to take to the afterlife.

– i’m far from finished with her, which is why she’s counted as 'not yet made’, but i know that she’s the chatty, gossipy type - always spreading rumours about the reapers and other souls she works with to her newly-deceased passengers. she also likes hearing the experiences they had, the people they left behind - just the nuances of the life they’re leaving behind, and she’s hella comforting about it too. no-one’s allowed to cry in her cab, god damn it. >:0

– heck knows when i’ll actually make her and flesh her out, but i definitely need to at some point. }

Well. This was unexpected, to say the least. He had no idea who he was talking to, and there was nothing in his code for this protocol. What the fuck happened during initialization and why did it mess up anyways? The text box showed a blinking ellipsis for a few minutes, before the AI spoke.
