Slowly but surely making progress. I took a couple of boxes of books to Half Price this past week (and only came home with one new book!) and have been dividing my library up by subject without overburdening any single bookshelf. Comics were pretty straightforward, but manga had to get bumped to another shelf. (Out on loan right now are Maus and the first half of my Poison Elves collection. To answer your question quickly, the "What If..." Marvel comics are basically canon fanfiction. Or at least that's how I would describe them.

You know how when you're apart of a fandom you like thinking up cool alternate story arcs like "What if Rose met 12?" "Who would win: Elsa or Mulan?" "How would Sora handle the MCU?"

These comics did that for the marvel fandom. Starting in the late 70s, every so often they'd print a comic that took something that happened in one of their earlier canon comics and played around with it a bit.

In the example I've provided a picture of, it's a different imagining of one Spider-Man's classic Clone Sagas. I don't know how much you know of the Clone story arcs, but just as a reminder people are obsessed with cloning Spider-Man, and the clones aren't stable. Not stable, as in, they literally melt into a green slime after a while (exception being Ben Reilly but that comes later then when this comic was released, unless I'm forgetting someone my apologies).

BUT, after than happened in canon, this was released to show what would've happened if his clone was stable.

The cool thing is that as time went on and the universe kept growing and details of the mechanics of it got flushed out (*cough* multiverse) these took on a whole new meaning. They weren't canon to the mainstream Marvel universe (Marvel-616), but they totally could be canon to some other Marvel universe!

So the movie? Think of anything you've ever criticized about the past movies of the MCU. It could be addressed in the What If... movie. There could be a bunch of these movies. "What If Captain Marvel Snapped Instead of Tony?"

"What If Captain America Used One of Those Bomb Planes to Escape and Never Got Trapped in the Ice in the First Place?"

"What If Ultron Was Never Built?"

"What if Bucky Did Die?"

"What If Odin Didn't Mislead Loki into Thinking He Could Be King?"

So I'm excited.

Atlas & Axis. Una delicia visual este álbum de Pau. Divertido, ágil y cómico por momentos. Echo a faltar los “cuadritos” de narrador que se usaban antes porque, a veces, la historia es tán rápida que pide una pausa para disfrutar de lo que estás leyendo. Es mi única pega. Por otro lado, es un acierto utilizar este diseño de personajes en una historia bastante violenta, y que pasa desapercibida entre esos ojitos caninos inocentes. ComicViewer(iOS)は、BonjourでComicShelfのRSSサーバーを見つける機能をつけました。LANでアクセスするのでzipファイルのストリーミング表示はそれなりに速いです。

これで、mac上の自炊コンテンツをiOSからストリーミングで閲覧することができます。
