Finding Draxum

A little comic of Mikey finding Draxum in the street after he got drained by the Shredder suit. The original idea for this storyline was that Draxum would align himself with the Hamatos for a time while The Shredder took over the city, until his ego and obsession with prophesy led him to betray them once more. This time he would get no third chance, and Mikey would be the one to draw the line and tell him so before making him leave the city for good.

I love TMNT for its found family! But having had to cut off irl blood relatives before despite how many chances they were given, I kind of like Draxum as a villain despite him being the creator of the turtles. But that’s just me!

This doesn’t lead to his nice canonical show self in my mind , though it can totally still be read that way :)

I've been sitting on this for a while now, I just finished half of it and left it alone for a little bit. I decided to finish this and post it before i started hating it so hehe! a little gay comic with Bea and Dali <3

Hi, hello, so I’m gonna be talking about this comic (“Best Friends”) again (because I’m working real hard on the next five pages) and I just wanted to throw an actual visual representation of the size of this comic out into the void. I wasn’t kidding when I said this might end up being 30 or more pages by the time I’m done with it. But anyways, there are only five or so pages in this entire thing that don’t have lines/paneling and speech bubbles inked in black. Every one of these pages has a sketch of the page and text written in (handwritten text on the page tho).

So uh, this is what this comic is! I usually only complain about it late at night so if anyone’s wondering how they didn’t know this exists that’s probably why lol. Sorry about that!

Just finished three more redesigns for my new “Wendy Project” and I’m so happy how they turned out! My girls have never looked so good!

"He’s a 12 stars (y/o) angel arrived on Earth to repeat the stage! He’s a good friend of Sulfus and Kabalè, and despite his bad luck and distracted nature, Mefisto has an enviable optimism and a sunny character! Perhaps, this time together with his friends he’ll pass the new school year, armed also with his favorite music playlists!"

I was finally able to finish this! My dear Mefisto is here! 🦎

Working on his angel version made me realize how much potential and peculiarities his original character has! Starting with his comical way of speaking (which unfortunately with translations are not so easy to catch!) and grammatical gaffes! Also, his nature tells quite well how he sees the world around him, which makes him an interesting character, imo!

I kept in mind Mefisto original 1% goodness (simplicity and spontaneity) and brought to life a sunny, absent-minded angel with a creative vocabulary and a crazy passion for music and colorful things!

I tried to show these elements in his angelic style and expressions, which maintain a more comical and funny nature than other characters in my redesign! I really enjoyed drawing him and look forward to showing you more about this Mephisto in the future!
