New Year and back to training

The food and drink festival that is Christmas is over, back to the gym and training (thankfully).

Over the holidays we bought a treadmill (reduced by 60% by the lovely people at Canadian Tire)  The end result will be our own gym, once we have the weights and rack to buy - which we’ll do when my bonus comes through and use some of our employee benefits to reimburse the cost of most of it.  I cant wait - no driving to the gym, my own shower, no queuing for weights or benches, no watching some muppet do curls in the squat rack (WTF is that all about), no-one deciding that they want to use the bench I was using (sorry if I needed to get water a-hole)

Although I will miss the regular WTF moments:  today was a gem.  This young guy comes in with this muhassive quiff.  It extended a good 6 to 8 inches in front of his head, and about 5 inches above.  It was like some giant hairy slug sat on this guys head.  All the time Im thinking “how the eff will he shower and not get that wet?  how long must it take to comb that bad boy?”  Of course, being bald I have a different perspective on this - I just shave my head every other day.
