I'd like to take a moment to pay homage to #MarcusCombs... the man, the myth, and the comedian. My heart and prayers are with your family and friends. As #joyisourpower, I wanna thank you for sharing your gift with the world. You kept us laughing through a recession. You taught us how to take a self-care day to ward of depression. I don't know what it is, but in the last 15 years or so, I've flown on this date like 5 or 6 times and people are way more polite at the airport on this date than any other date I've flown. This last week in Chicago has been inspiring. I got the chance to work on so many fun shows with comics I've worked with before, who have really blossomed since I last saw them (if you're someone I worked with before and this past week, I mean you.) Comedy is not dead. In Chicago? Very far from it. If I saw you, I love you.
