So after writing an 86k word tome over the last four weeks about a rutag x tasil love triangle, and posting the last chapters yesterday, I vowed to take a break.

But guess who has two thumbs and spent today writing 4k more words in #tasil one shots based on anonymous ask prompts? *This guy.*

I just can't help myself. It's like I feel personally responsible for this ship.

Excited to share this almost-complete Rivals fic that has consumed my life for the past few weeks!

I love a love triangle and some unhinged drama, and I felt like the Rivals universe was ripe for some of that (plus, I love Bas), hence this fic. Summary below.

This fic answers all the questions you never had about the Rutshire universe, including: 

What if Taggie got to be more empowered and have a bit more fun? 

What if there was a love triangle? 

What if we got more of Bas Baddingham, the best himbo in all of Rutshire? 

Picks up after the end of 1x08 and that kitchen kiss. 

Immediately after Rupert and Taggie kiss in the kitchen, a distraught Cameron appears at the Priory. Rupert moves Cameron into Penscombe, and Bas Baddingham begins to take a more active interest in Taggie O'Hara. After all, his best friend has clearly broken her heart, and it's the decent thing to do. What could possibly go wrong? 

This is a fic where Taggie has more of a backbone, everyone experiences some growth (and a lot of angst), and we ride an ever-escalating rollercoaster of emotion. Some mild spoilers for the television show season 1 and the Jilly Cooper book.
