💪Abs April 💪

Wtf is this???

So I had a random idea one day to take on a monthly challenge for myself and because it was fun the last time I drew Choices characters shirtless and ab-full, I thought I’d organize a challenge where I draw one a day for the whole of April!

It’ll look like this, where the character is shirtless (or in the case of females, in a bikini/sports bra etc.

Why?

Why tf not we’re all thirsty here, so let’s have a chill time ogling our unrealistically fit fictional characters. Also, this is actually pretty great anatomy practice for me. I pick up a lot every time I draw a body seriously like this XD

Important info for those who are hesitant/not interested:

I’ll tag this post and all related posts with “#abs april” and the general “#nsfw” just to be sure. Please blacklist this tag if you don’t want to see these posts.

None of these will be heavily NSFW. By that, I mean, the way I’ll draw the characters is how you’d see models pose in non-porno magazines. Shirtless, but tasteful, and not overtly sexual.

How this works:

I’d love input/requests! I’ll start in April, but will let this circulate so you guys can let me know who you want to see! 

Comment on THIS POST, the character/s you’d like to see (and reblog to signal boost around the fandom?) and the 30 with the most “votes” are the ones I’ll draw! I’ll post a list by the end of March.

**Please use the tag “abs april” and/or “nsfw” as well just to be considerate to your followers who don’t want to see big pictures of shirtless characters lol**

Also feel free to send me body claims and/or poses by commenting a link here, via ask, or submission! I just pick a body type from an actual model/celebrity I think works for the character then copy-paint it in my style :D

FAQ/Notes:

You can vote girls in! 

You can vote non-LIs in! But preferably they are LIs since LIs have shirtless sprites I can reference for shading and body types.

You can reblog then comment like 10 LIs if you want. Vote for as many as you want, but only one vote per character if that makes sense.

Votes sent via ask/message won’t be counted! Please do it on this post so I can keep track easily. (Don’t be shy about it no one is judging you lol l’m the one who’s gonna draw shirtless folks)

I’ve drawn Kenji and Grayson before but ofc I would draw them again in a different pose. That’s my bias lol

Other artists feel free to copy the idea for another fandom or take part in drawing from the same list that’ll come out of this post. More shirtless art styles the better 😁

I will not draw anyone from HSS/ILITW because of their age.

I can say no to drawing characters if they make me uncomfortable/are controversial to the general fandom bc of their role/character in the books (Manny, Hero Caleb, etc.)

Again, I won’t draw anything overtly sexual. Think of it as swimsuit modelling or something like that. Stuff you’d see on a magazine cover. So, lots of skin, but not pin-ups/graphic content.

Again, I get not everyone is a thirsty fan and that there are minors around, so everything will have the tags #NSFW and #Abs April which you can blacklist for your comfort.
