It's #WorldCleanupDay! What are you doing today to keep your local waterways clean 🌊?⠀ Sometimes beach cleanups can be overwhelming! When there is more rubbish washing up on shore as you're cleaning it can feel hopeless! Our friends at @sustainablecoastlineshawaii talk about how it's a bit like trying to bail out the bathtub with the tap still running. As important as it is to clean our beaches, with every single item picked up potentially being a life saved in the marine world, we can't stop there. We've got to "turn the tap off" and find ways to stop producing and using these items we find in the ocean all day every day. What are your favorite reusable items?
