It's like it was made by Gundam fans for Gundam fans The startup Tsubame Industries presented an unusual development at the Japan Mobility Show, which runs until November 5. According to eyewitnesses, the huge humanoid transforming robot works “like a real one.” [caption id="attachment_79374" align="aligncenter" width="780"] robot battle league[/caption] Tsubame Archax is a Gundam fan's dream, one of the longest active anime franchises in anime history, dedicated to huge fighting robots of all kinds. Tsubame Archax is about 4.5 meters high, weighs 3.5 tons and costs $3 million. Archax is the first product from Yokohama-based Tsubame. It is the result of four years of research and development. [caption id="attachment_79375" align="aligncenter" width="780"] robot battle league[/caption] This is how TheVerge journalist, who personally visited the exhibition, described the event: Inside the Tokyo Big Sight showroom, huge by any standards, the Archax towers above the mundane supercars and concept cars that dot the space. Every hour or so, the Tsubame staff runs a simple demo where Archax raises his arms, waves to the crowd, and switches from robot mode to car mode and back again. First the robot battle league, and then the exploration of the moon [caption id="attachment_79376" align="aligncenter" width="750"] robot battle league[/caption] The transformation is carried out in 15 seconds, the robot is capable of moving at a speed of 10 km/h. There is also a cabin in which the pilot-driver is located. The first stage of development is more amateur and entertainment. They plan to sell five copies and organize something like a robot battle league. However, subsequent plans are more serious - the company intends to develop the space sector, and especially the exploration of the Moon. [caption id="attachment_79377" align="aligncenter" width="750"] robot battle league[/caption] Tsubame CTO Akinori Ishii said: There are many specialized machines on Earth for special jobs. We can't have that many machines on a lunar base. So perhaps a humanoid machine would be used in such a situation. https://youtu.be/zPZRaXVxcqw

The United States Marine Corps (USMC), also known as the United States Marines, is a branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for providing power projection, using the mobility of the United States Navy, by Congressional mandate, to deliver rapidly, combined-arms task forces on land, at sea, and in the air. The U.S. Marine Corps is one of the four armed service branches in the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and one of the seven uniformed services of the United States. The current Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest-ranking military officer in the U.S. Armed Forces, is a Marine Corps general. Research shows that during the mid-20th century, the U.S. Marine Corps had become a major theorist of and the world's dominant practitioner of amphibious warfare. Its ability to rapidly respond on short notice to expeditionary crises gives it a strong role in the implementation and execution of American foreign policy. As of 2016, the USMC has around 182,000 active duty members and some 38,500 reserve Marines. It is the smallest of the U.S. Armed Forces within the DoD. The Marine Corps machine-gun wielding robot can remotelly be controlled with just a tablet and a joystick. The Marine corps have a great future due to its research and implementations of modern technologies to improve their operations.I believe many countries will follow suit by using to modern technologies to improve it's defense.
