𝙰𝙻𝚃𝙷𝙾𝚄𝙶𝙷 𝙳𝙴𝚂𝙿𝙴𝚁𝙰𝚃𝙴 for some beach air himself, alice was right. not that his car wasn’t totaled anyway, a result of past erratic driving on his part, but he didn’t plan on dying anytime soon and he assumed neither did alice. there is hardly enough time to pull over before she takes control, suddenly finding himself pegged between his chair and alice’s body -- a favorable position to be in, actually.
his hands find their resting place at the curve of her hips, pulling her in closer; tighter. the kiss is intense and heated, exactly what one would expect having been deprived of each other’s company for so long.
❛ i think -- ❜ for a second, he struggles forward and begins to blindly fumble for something in the glove compartment. every peck against his neck weakens him, but he finally finds what he was looking for, a tape, and jams it into the deck. as roxy music hums softly through the speakers, peter can no longer think of a better scenario.
he momentarily releases her hips, using his hands to unbutton his shirt in a rather feverish manner, ❛ fuck the beach ❜
[ SECLUDED ] our muses are on a road trip and are forced to pull over due to heavy rain and fog, they end up fooling around in the car while they wait for it to clear up. ⠀/⠀whichever verse you feel :D
the trip was all of alice's crazy idea. she sat in the professor's office too much grading papers, answering calls for him. if she wasn't doing that, she was at the library making sure the head librarian was set for breaks and everything. if it wasn't that, she was in ballet or she was flinging paint in her dorm. all she wanted was some time with peter, to finally really get time with him somewhere. maybe go out somewhere up on the cape, maybe just go play on a beach or anything. all she wanted was time away from columbia university - it monopolized so much of her time and it was starting to eat her brain away. the chaotic art student with the messy soul thing she had, it was too much. she needed to be out feeling the air from the beaches hit her face.... but that was cut short. "pete, it's... too rainy, pull over," she nagged at him, hitting his arm.
the last thing she wanted was them to get into a bad car accident and everything is a mess from there. instead, she pointed to the side of the road. hardly anybody out on the road. when peter pulled over, she crawled over him and grabbed the handle to bring his seat back and leaned down to kiss him. "i mean, we don't need to beach to do this." pressing kisses to his neck, and to his collarbone. "what do you think?"

☎️ 𝙶𝙷𝙾𝚂𝚃𝙱𝚄𝚂𝚃𝙴𝚁𝚂, 𝚆𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝙳𝙾 𝚈𝙾𝚄 𝚆𝙰𝙽𝚃? || ❛ i love it when you put your hands on me. ❜ || @columbialibrary
HE WAS BARELY ABLE TO RESIST THE SHEER FORCE OF THE SMIRK THAT WAS THREATENING TO GRACE HIS LIPS. For all his worth, he’d never been known as one for offering much, if anything, in the way of physical affection. It wasn’t something that often came naturally to him, save for the occasional reach for the hand, the odd tucking of a lock of hair behind the ear, here and there. Consistency was an ongoing objective for him, for Alice’s sake far more than his own - though, perhaps that was why she was seeking to comment on it in the first place, because it wasn’t an inherent element of his peesonality.
STILL, AS HE SAT NEXT TO HER ON THE COUCH, A SPARK OF MISCHIEF WAS CONJURED IN HIS PSYCHE. Gaze kept firmly on the book he was consulting, his hand proceeded to carefully, tantalisingly settle on her inner thigh, fingers slowly trailing along the soft, delicate cotton of her tights. Yes, his endeavours with her were still proving to be insightful experiences so far as self-development was concerned, but he still had one or two tricks up the proverbial sleeve.
❝ I’ll have to remember to put my hands on you more often, then. ❞

@columbialibrary said: " what do you think of the party? "
"pre-gaming with the captain was so much better than this actual event," he smirked at alice. "your hair's kinda messed up captain kazansky... you look like you had a rough go before you got here," he added, smirk growing wider.

Jamal Joseph, is an American writer, producer, poet, activist and educator. At o...
Jamal Joseph, is an American writer, producer, poet, activist and educator. At only 16 years of age in 1968, he was the youngest member of the Black Panthers. He was accused of planning and coordinating bomb attacks on two police stations and other locations in NYC, accusations that proved to be unfounded. He directed the Columbia University School of Cinema, where he currently teaches. He is also director of the New Heritage Theatre Group of Harlem, and author of “Panther Baby,” published in 2012 by Algonquin Books. This is Alfredo Bini @alfredobini, I am an Italian documentary photographer living in New York. This week I am exploring the past, present, and future generations of American students committed to social justice and equality. These are the people fighting to end mass incarceration and inspire police reform in America. #opensociety #racialjustice #americanstudentmovement #stopmassincarceration #blacklivesmatter #allpowertothepeople #columbiauniversity #columbiauniversityinthecityofnewyork #columbialibrary #africanamericanhistory #africanamericanhistorymonth

☎️ 𝙶𝙷𝙾𝚂𝚃𝙱𝚄𝚂𝚃𝙴𝚁𝚂, 𝚆𝙷𝙰𝚃 𝙳𝙾 𝚈𝙾𝚄 𝚆𝙰𝙽𝚃? || “ were you really about to leave without saying goodbye? “ || @columbialibrary
IT WAS ALMOST AS IF HE WAS A TEENAGER, CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF SNEAKING OUT. Freezing to the spot, mere inches from the door, he maintained his back to Alice - a small smile gracing his lips at hearing her words. As he silently conceded defeat, he gave a slow turn on his heel, keeping his smirk as he regarded her.
❝ No - but you’re supposed to be asleep. ❞
STILL, HE DECIDED TO CLOSE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THEM. Leaning in, he pressed a gentle, barely-there kiss against the soft skin of her cheek, before pulling away. His own cheeks began to blush at the notion.
❝ I’ll see you on Friday, alright? ❞

@columbialibrary asked: [ TUG ]: the sender tugs the receiver close against them by resting a hand against the small of their back, pulling them flush against their body.
𝙰𝙲𝙲𝙴𝙿𝚃𝙸𝙽𝙶.
IT WAS AN ACTION THAT HAD GENUINELY CAUGHT HIM OFF-GUARD. The pair had been in an elevator together, the already-tight confines made worse by the presence of others. Not one to normally complain avour small spaces, he’d almost had his foot stepped on, promptly finding himself biting his tongue in order to refrain from making a retort.
HOWEVER, ALICE’S SUBSEQUENT MOVEMENTS HAD RENDERED HIM SILENT. Evidently looking at ways to maximise what little room they had, her hand had settled itself against his back, gently urging him closer. Instinct compelling his posture to stiffen a little at the unexpected touch, he soon relaxed, his own hand coming to rest on her waist, politely keeping her still.
❝ Are you alright? ❞

The Columbia University library system is among the ten largest in the United St...
The Columbia University library system is among the ten largest in the United States, with approximately 12 million volumes. Columbia University was founded in 1754 by King George II of Great Britain and is now among the most selective institutions in the United States. Early in 2015, the president of Columbia University accepted a joint request signed by the faculty and the students that terminated all the business the university had with private prison companies.
