Apple of my 👁 😄😄 Little known to the outside world, this quaint hamlet tucked in the Uttarakhand Himalayas produces measure juicy, sweetest, delicious and different varieties of apples and organic natural yummy kidney beans. Folk says an army deserter named wilson from the mid-19th century, introduced apples and timber trade and kidney beans to this frosty Himalayan nook. Wilson loved his apple orchards and used to take good care of his grown apple orchards. Because of his love towards apple orchards ghost of wilson after his death has been spotted on several occasions by villagers, especially on full moon nights taking care of apples. He is also called as holy spirit as his sprit come and do all field work in apple orchards and protect from getting wasted. These thrilling yet scary stories of Uttarakhand mountains are very interesting and keep me warm and help me to explore more about places I visit. I just lived a poster i used to see in my childhood hanging on the wall. You don’t need to die to see heaven when you can see here in uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Beautiful town of joshimath is located on a gentle, beautiful north-facing slope. Several peaks including Nilkanth, Dronagiri, Nanda Devi, Hahi Parvat etc. are visible from various corners of Joshimath. Joshimath town is one of the most interesting places in the inner Himalayan range of Garhwal. colorful typical pahadi house , traditional architecture and blissful weather is perfect combination of beauty. The town of Joshimath derives its name from the Jyotirmath. Adiguru Shankracharya was on a mission to revive Hinduism which had been eclipsed by Buddhism. At fist a Math was established by him at Joshimath and Dham at Sri Badrinath. The math established in Joshimath in the 8th century C.E., today known by the name Jyotirmath, has a huge mulberry tree in its precincts. This huge mulberry tree is said to be around 2400 years old and located atop a cave where Adiguru had meditated. The most famous are Narsingh temple and Durga temple are situated in lap of joshimath. It is believed that the day arm of the Narsingh statue breaks in kalyug, this will bring catastrophe and disaster in world. A new era will then emerge and Lord Badrinath will appear at a new place called Bhawishya Badri.
