Made In The USA Garden Tools
Garden Tools Made In The USA With Pride If we all do our part ... Did you know that if each American would just simply spend $30 a month (only a dollar a day) on American made goods instead of foreign goods (regular purchases of course), that would create or maintain almost 3,000,000 jobs that pay on average $40,000 per year? Sounds easy right? Seems like everyone would be doing that, right? The problem is we as Americans are not doing it. If only Americans would take the extra step of checking where a product is made and really trying to buy a made in the U.S.A. product, things would really change quite quickly here in our country. Workers would have more job security, companies would recall laid off employees and even better they could start hiring again and get people out of the long unemployment lines. Okay, so what does this all have to do with gardening or garden tools? Good question! The truth is each spring and summer, millions of Americans will head to their local garden supply store and buy millions of rakes, shovels, hoses, sprinklers and everything else one might need to use in a garden or around the yard, so why not buy a quality American made product since you are already looking? Maybe you would love to do just that but are unsure of which ones are in fact "made in America", well that is where this page will come in handy. I hope to give you many good product reviews and choices of garden tools that are all American made and basically do the research for you. Please keep in mind this page is a work in progress and will grow as I find more and more products to promote that are all Made in the U.S.A. and hopefully this list can serve as a helpful guide for all of us to do our part by buying American made garden tools, hey at least it's a real good place to start. The three arm rotary head is adjustable, the metal screen filter prevents clogging and the unit itself is made from an impact resistant, rustproof polymer that will last and last. Gilmour is a US company that prides itself on making great American made products, many of which are already included on this page. A great impulse sprinkler made by Gilmour is the #999ZS extra large coverage model because it is capable of watering large gardens or lawns with ease. This particular model can cover up to 8,500 square feet which is 106 feet in diameter. This also comes with a trip lever for full or partial coverage with a reversing full circle setting and a deflector dial to set distance. The entire unit is built to last with it's heavy-duty die cast zinc base and long lasting metal head construction. It even comes with a heavy duty foot step to ensure that you can easily set it anywhere in the yard or garden with little effort. Made In The USA Garden Hose Nozzles Quality built and made in the U.S.A. is the Gilmour full size Polymer Pistol Grip Nozzle with threaded front model #474. This hose nozzle is a great choice performance and quality both, features include a hold open clip for continuous garden or lawn spraying, a leak proof seal and male hose threaded end for easily being able to attach accessories. Do keep in mind though that replacing O-rings is a very inexpensive faix if you should you ever even have to replace it (under $1.00 the last time I replaced one), a much better choice then buying a whole new nozzle. Another great choice for a American gardner!

If you are looking for a spray nozzle with a lot of spray pattern options with then look no further then the Dramm nine pattern Revolver Garden Hose Nozzle, this one has nine patterns to choose from. This garden hose nozzle has an insulated grip, heavy duty construction and a lifetime guarantee!! You can also choose from the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue or even berry! The company also states that this nozzle is an ergonomic GreenA garden tool too, yet another American made perk! The Big Burning Question Why Should all Americans be concerned about the issue of buying Made in the U.S.A. products? Good question, glad you asked. The truth is the middle class is suffering the most from people not buying made in American made goods because they are simply not informed about how severe the issue really is. Think about yourself for instance how many things in your home is American made? Is your vehicle? Your television? Okay, think even small scale, where was your garden hose made? Don't feel bad if you can't answer any of the above questions, most other Americans can't either. Which is precisely why we all need to get involved and start making better consumer purchasing decisions for the benefit of all.
