Today was a wonderful wonderful day! Now 4 months later I can finally say I moved in, since I found one or two big art-stuff-boxes I just couldn’t find and in it a kingdom of color. With it I finally decided how I will continue. For one,there is a lot of reviewing and material testing to do and that is a wish I want to fulfill for myself and hope to encourage and share with people that love colors all the same :D . I will now use the smaller swatchcards for bought paints and the bigger ones for my own. I also convinced myself that it is okay to use all the colors I bought but didn’t dare to touch for they where,and still are, soo beautiful and not to be wasted. Starting with the actual inexpensive watercolors from #daiso that I bought two years ago and now find in this suprisebag I made back then. They are of really nice in regard of color and dry fast. But for some projects I prefer the limydull colors . No more saving up >,<! I’m such a color-nut! Since reawakening my walk with art, I have really acquainted myself with my own colors and to me it’s so interesting/enlightening.. all the ways you can get gray, the perfect shade of salmon, developing my own foliage and skin recipes.. I used to blindly mix colors or worse, only use combos made for me straight from the tube! oooh, yeah, I saw Boom Boom Pow when I was googling. (Do you think Essie Rock at the Top is a dupe? It at least seems like an approximation of BBP). I'm actually looking more for a microglitter, though. I'm thinking of trying to recreate that one red/gold glitter half moon manicure http://penchantforpolish.tumblr.com/post/53691370512/iron-man . I think I decided to try China Glaze Ruby Pumps for the red, if that makes any difference.

Essie Rock at the top isn’t as warm and the microglitters aren’t the same. It could kind of approximate but I much prefer BBP.

Zoya Ziv has a platinum undertone with copper flecks so it’s not quite what you’re talking about, and it’s a foil rather than a glitter, though honestly, for that type of manicure, that might be a better bet for you to get the clean lines of the half-moon, as well as the coverage you’d want over the red. I would consider Milani’s 3D 510 (x), Nanacoco’s Colorholic (x), Butter London’s Marbs (x), Orly Flare (x), or OPI’s GoldenEye (x).
