just personal anecdote but cant overstate how much npc and follower mods made skyrim more engaging for me. It's a much more enjoyable game when everyone you come across isnt a giant downer

#ENOUGH nord angst #there are guys who are fun but theyre few and far between imo #everyone is constantly whining abt shit in skyrim #ik they were going for game of thrones Angst and Suffering and Agony but it just makes me check out mentally esp compared to how lively n #colorful (albeit goofy) oblivion feels)#if and when i get around to finishing the lore modlist (have a lot more to add its just a project)#id love to do a list of things to make the game feel more alive bc theres so much.#npcs/followers/town overhauls that give each city its own architecture/misc lore friendly books/etc #skyrim #mods
