Colm Dillane arrives at Paris Fashion Week with a spectacular display of creativity at the KidSuper Spring/Summer 2024 Fashion Show. Teaming up with artist and scenographer Thierry Dreyfus, the Franco-American theater ensemble known as The Big Funk, the choreographer Leo Walk, and the dance troupe La Marche Bleue, Dillane transforms the runway into a stunning theatrical experience.
In this extraordinary production, Dillane fearlessly unveils his personal journey of artistic expression, authenticity, and acknowledgment. Stripping away the layers, he exposes his intimate creative process, inviting the audience into his imaginative world. The collection seamlessly weaves the signature KidSuper elements together—artistry, vibrant colors, captivating prints, and whimsical collages—adorning everything from timeless streetwear to his iconic animated tailoring and coats.
With a symphony of eccentricity and outstanding visual storytelling, this spectacle embodies the essence of KidSuper, captivating the senses and leaving a lasting impression.

Can you even imagine the furore it would have caused if Harry had attended the Louis Vuitton show instead of Zayn and Louis had followed Kidsuper. They would be dusting off their timelines and adding minutes to their proof videos by telling us of their amazing discovery about KidSuper’s history with Louis Vuitton and how it’s obvious that Louis followed them as he is still in Harry’s life.
They would show up on tiktok laughing for 10 mins and then letting you into their secret discovery. Content successfully created 60k likes, now they can pay rent for another week! Success. Link to another gofundme shared, a few pieces of fake merch sold on etsy! Larrie business is good business for Larries, especially made up Larry proofs!
I had no idea what KidSuper was 🙂.
So Colm Dillane, an American who started printing T-shirts from his native Brooklyn when he was 15, is the designer behind the KidSuper fashion brand. After Virgil Abloh died in 2021, Louis Vuitton has had a series of “guest designers,” and Dillane designed for their Fall Winter 23 menswear line (last year).
Coincidentally Zayn attended the LV FW24 show. KidSuper was not one of the designers featured.
LVMH-owned Louis Vuitton is the world’s largest luxury house: its sales surged 20 per cent to €20.6 billion in 2022 and are expected to reach €21.9 billion in 2023, according to HSBC estimates. Menswear may not represent the bulk of the business, but the role of men’s artistic director is key given the size of the house, the importance of leather goods, which represent over 70 per cent of the house’s sales according to analysts, and the halo effect of the men’s designer’s creative vision on the overall brand’s desirability.
LVMH (Louis Vuitton-Moët-Hennessy) also owns Bulgari, Guerlain, Tiffany & Co, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Dom Pérignon, Maison Ruinart, Le Bon Marché, Séphora, Christian Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Loewe, Loro Piana, Kenzo, Celine, Princess Yachts, TAG Heuer, Les Echos-Le Parisien Group, and the wine estate Château d'Yquem.
So it’s a huge company and it dominates the fashion industry.
The draw for an autodidact designer like KidSuper is pretty easy to see. And Dillane’s inspiration for Louis Tomlinson, kid from Donny, is also obvious.

A new glossary of American fashion explores the expressive qualities of works by pioneering designers, who established the nation’s style, and the up-and-coming designers shaping its future.
In America: A Lexicon of Fashion presents a modern vocabulary of American dress that emphasizes emotions while not discounting the simple, practical, and egalitarian character that has traditionally separated American ready-to-wear from European haute couture. Stunning new photography showcases over 100 garments from the 1940s to the present that offer a timely new perspective on the diverse and multifaceted nature of American fashion.
The catalogue features works that display qualities such as belonging, comfort, desire, exuberance, fellowship, joy, nostalgia, optimism, reverence, spontaneity, strength, and sweetness by well-known designers and emerging creatives, including:
Gilbert #Adrian, Geoffrey Beene, Thom Browne, Bonnie Cashin, Willy Chavarria, Olivia Cheng, Telfar Clemens, #OscardelaRenta, Colm Dillane, #Perry Ellis, Tremaine Emory, #TomFord, #RudiGernreich, #Halston, Elizabeth Hawes, #CarolinaHerrera, Conner Ives, #CharlesJames, Kerby Jean-Raymond, #DonnaKaran, #CalvinKlein, Michael Kors, #RalphLauren, Vera Maxwell, #ClaireMcCardell,Norman Norell ,Heron Preston, Christopher John Rogers, Raul Solís, Hillary Taymour, #DianevonFurstenberg, Vera Wang

Pharrell Williams @pharrell named Louis Vuitton @louisvuitton men’s creative director Williams steps into one of the highest-profile jobs in fashion. Multi-hyphenate musician and entrepreneur Pharrell Williams will become Louis Vuitton’s next creative director of menswear, the brand confirmed on Tuesday, following a Wall Street Journal report. The appointment fills one of fashion’s most high-profile vacancies, open since Virgil Abloh died in November 2021. A flurry of names have been touted for the position, including designers Martine Rose, Grace Wales Bonner, Samuel Ross and Jonathan Anderson. KidSuper founder Colm Dillane is also thought to be in the running, having participated in the creation of Louis Vuitton’s Autumn/Winter 2023 collection. It marks the first big decision of Pietro Beccari, who, on 1 February, took the helm of the world’s largest luxury brand from outgoing CEO Michael Burke. Williams is no stranger to fashion. He is co-owner of streetwear brand Human Made with Kenzo creative director Nigo; founder of the Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream streetwear brands; co-owner of G-Star Raw Denim; and a regular collaborator with Tiffany. The entrepreneur ventured into beauty with gender neutral brand Humanrace in 2021. He is also a longtime friend of Chanel and served as a muse to the late Karl Lagerfeld and attended the recent Métiers d’art show in Dakar. He also attended the Off-White show last February in Paris. Williams is also among those slated to unveil new design concepts at Moncler’s latest Genius activation during London Fashion Week on 20 February. A representative for Williams could not be reached for comment for this story. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cop7ss8P5ur/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
