companies really make it hard for us to support groups. this is the tale as old as time but lately, it’s like so many bad things happen that you just stand back and look at everything and just sigh
#they are just ruining everything bc of money#overworking idols… overpricing tickets#mismanaging them every other day#not protecting them enough#not telling us whether idols on hiatus will come back#collabing with zionists and endorsing zionist brands#AND I COULD GO ON#BC THE LIST IS HUGE#sometimes kpop fans make kpop unbearable for me#but that i can block it out#but for the past year or so i can’t but notice it’s the companies that most of the time#make this absolutely unbearable#and then make people fight amongst themselves#they want people in fandoms to turn against each other#just so we don’t hold them (the companies) accountable#and that has to END#tris.txt

the infantilization of grown men has to be studied. like babying whole ass adults (just bc they're east asian? 👀) is not only embarrassing as fck and pretty privilege but surely also some form of deep rooted asian fetishism and racism.
and you can't come @ me bc this is literally my ult bias - but I'm still holding him accountable bc a) I'm mature and not delusionally brainless and b) he's literally THE SAME AGE AS ME. so if I can do my research, so should he. him being a celeb shouldn't make a difference.
like we got zionist collaborations, zionist brand deals, zionist supporting events, content on fcking disney+ and amazon prime.. and now a fcking pic of mcdonalds fries? really the cherry on top. could've been avoided if majority of this fandom wasn't sabotaging our efforts in educating them by fcking reporting posts, comments and fan letters and boycotting the fcking company.
and also shame on the other kpop idols endorsing zionist brands and collabs ofc, but i'm not stanning any of them to keep up w what exactly they're doing. that's up to their own fandoms.
#bds#free palestine#anti zionism#boycott#kpop#bts#hybe#bangtan#bts v#kim taehyung#fandom and artists have been a huge disappointment so far

the anon meant that Namjoon has a tiny replica of a Banksy artwork that shows a heartshaped hole in the occupation wall and he said it's titled "Palestine". other members shared or drew other works by Banksy on this too.
but all of that was YEARS ago. people only bring this up to try to shut up Palestinian ARMYs every day and to not hold Bangtan accountable.
BTS didn't speak up since the start of the genocide AT ALL and have only increasingly been in collabs with zionists and endorsing brands and entities that BDS calls for boycotts and actions on (e.g. Fred / LV, McDonald's, Olympics).
boycotts on these brands started way before enlistment and to act as if their military service or HYBE's censorship is enough excuses to not say anything is laughable. Taeyong, an idol in the military spoke up. a bunch of idols with far less of a platform and a lot worse contracts and company control have spoken up. it's not like HYBE would fire BTS if they spoke up, come on.
people like anon need to stop treating them like sensitive little babies and acknowledge that your discomfort and shitty remarks in deflection that speak over Palestinians, are just bc Bangtan fucked up and need to do better and that goes against your fantasies and your idol worship where you treat them like infallible gods.
bts has supported palestine for years and tae posting a photo from 2022 doesn’t change anything. they were all in the military when the boycott started and they are not like the idols who are on live drinking starbucks and eating mcdonald’s etc. people hyperfixate on such little things it’s actually embarassing
that’s news to me that they’ve done that, can you tell me in which ways they showed support? I also think it’s pretty irrelevant when the picture was taken, with his hopefully current knowledge he shouldn’t have posted it now. and of course they’re not doing such things on live, they’re not allowed allowed to do livestreams. and can you blame “people”, when there has been radio silence, no sign of the apparent support you mentioned when it is actually needed the most, and then all you get is an ignorant post on top? they’ve always had to be ever so careful with what they say, post, do, yet in this case he couldn’t think twice. of course it’s disappointing to an extend

Hello! I’m a new stay but a longtime army and casual fan of newjeans and txt. i’m boycotting hybe from top to bottom at the moment and also listening to skz via local drives. i’m wondering what the stance is on the upcoming cb. i know that the situation with jyp is a little different - he’s a zionist too but i don’t think he has this insane network and funds the iof the same way scooter does? it’s mostly just maniacal ranting from a christian zionist but also he’s the founder of the company so I don’t really know of any organized boycott or attempt to get him removed (is it even possible?) like there is with scooter. i’ve been watching old concert footage and i want to see skz so bad 😔 idk what to do
anon i am gonna be so honest... i didn't know jyp was openly zionist until i received your ask! i mean people were boycotting jype this time around bc they collabed with zionist brands (one of them being coca cola) but i had no idea that he traveled to israhell before for two months ?? (sorry for citing allkpop as a source but yeah....) that really changes a lot but yeah... i mean travelling to that place means that he personally endorses it and supports it now idk how to further this support goes or if he has given support to them before but i mean this is not a good look either way because this is legitimizing their existence! he is not the ceo of the company for a while but i assume that he still has shares of the company and manages a lot of things! how i see it it's... we should boycott the next comebacks until there's some action from the company! this month people have been boycotting the big 4 + starship so i mean i suppose people should definitely be going hard at jype for this alone. i would say the best course of action is to boycott even tho idk if he could even be removed bc he is the founder of the company i think 100% there should be some action from fans of jype groups for sure
#this is my opinion and how i see it#i've been boycotting them especially bc of this month's focuses boycott#but honestly i was planning on continue even after that bc#i am not personally comfortable knowing the things i know now#and i've been discovering from these companies in the past month#and how some of them partner with companies that do have ties with israhell#or support them so yeah#idk what will happen after this month's boycott and#if people are planning to do further pressure after that#but i would advise to boycott for sure#and i would hope jype fandoms would start organizing themselves#and do something about it too#asks#anon
