Tell me all about your fav duo! Could it be twins, the two kiddos you like most or the two eldest/youngest/middle children that need more love. Hosted by @endlessly-cursed. I had to include both of my duo set of legacy fankids.

John and Aileen Moss (Colin and Euphemia's kids)

I love these kiddos because of how opposite they are in personality yet they both have determination. John is quiet, reserved and likes to resolves things peacefully whereas Aileen is fuck this and will resolve with insult, swearing and last resort fists (doesn't matter the size, she will fight you). Aileen is the OG wild Moss and stayed like that throughout her life including getting married after a month of meeting her husband, moving to America and instead of settling down as a housewife she became a quodpot player despite never have played it. John never found the same success as Aileen but he tried to get into the Wizengamot but never meet the grades. However, John always has this motivation of achieving goals even if you can't go through your first way.

Couldn't miss out on these twisted kiddos too. They are Glenn's adopted children who end up working for Grindlewald despite growing up in a privilege and wealthy upbringing. Something to note these kids weren't born evil or experienced a traumatic childhood became twisted but rather they fell into the rabbit hole of dark magic and the arts becoming susceptible to having their young minds swayed to Grindlewald's ideology slowly causing their evilness.

Who do you think you are? Colin and Euphemia

Okay, I was really inspired by the lovely @the-al-chemist so credit goes to her for the idea but I wanted to make my own who do you think you are, just so I have the family background because the character profiles are taking me a while, mainly because I’m doing some drawings for them but I digress. 

We start with Juniper, Jacob and Clover’s great grandparents, before the branches split at John and Aileen, it’s time for their parents to shine in the early 20th century. 

Colin Moss, a Scottish pureblood wizard with his wife Euphemia, a pureblood witch from the powerful Macnair family. Though the family never officially disowned her for marrying Colin, she is certainly looked down upon for eloping with someone of a much lower social status and a Moss. Colin took over the bartender of his grandfather Robert's pub The Naughty Cliffs while Euphemia worked many odd jobs to bring in money, mainly as potioneer, brewing up illegal potions and tried to start her own newspaper print. In 1900, they had their first child John Patrick Moss and five years later they had a daughter, Aileen Martha Moss.

Both children ended up in Hufflepuff, John was quieter of the two but always stood up for those who couldn’t fight back and became sort of the rock in the family. Dependable and ready to help anyone in need. He idealised his father and admired how he constantly gave away money to those need it more than them. He was determine to be exactly like Colin and after Hogwarts to work at The Naughty Cliffs and to become an activist for werewolves, vampires and other beings who were heavily discriminated and tried to help in changing laws to allow more equality.

Aileen on the other hand was very loud and had the mouth of a sailor. She played as beater for the Hufflepuff quidditch team and after a while once people stopped getting intimidated by her, they actually started to enjoy her and she became the popular 'jock' at Hogwarts. Aileen seriously consisdered a career in quidditch but those plans got skewed when she met an american wizard shortly after graduating. 

In 1948, Euphemia was ratted out by a client and was sentenced to Azkaban for for selling illegal potions. Her sentence was seven years but she passed away shortly after being unable to endure the conditions there. Colin died weeks later from heartbreak.
