#succession spoilers#succession#seriously because#they got rid of the company that represented the thing they always wanted and fought each other over#their father's love and respect#they stopped kendall from acquiring the power to truly become logan#they prevented shiv and roman from being under kendall as logan's thumb#the whole family except Greg is technically out#BUT#they are so trapped in the same mindset#that they still aren't really out#roman is still alone and aimless looking for someone to lead him#shiv is still reliant on a man to be close to power without having the power herself#and is being forced into the wife and mother/incubator role like her mother before her#connor is still struggling to keep the love or tolerance of willa and is still an afterthought to his sibs#and is in the shell of his father's old house#and kendall...#he wont know where to go from here#and he is literally being followed by the specter of his own father#colin aka his dads old bodyguard is following him around#he represents kendalls mistakes and his prison#none of them are out even though the company is gone and its just so goddamn tragic
