#just signed the contract for my first job#and it's an amazing one#i was walking through the campus and couldn't stop thinking 'i work here now'#with scientists doing world-changing science#i mean yeah I'm a librarian#but I'm a librarian for big brain scientists doing big brain science#people down the hall are making nanomachines and superconductors or something#coleagues on the other side of the city are building fudion reactors#and space exploration#that's so cool#science is so cool#and I'll be helping!#just a little but I will#it's so awesome#my heart is racing and I can't stop grinning#is this what happiness feels like?#they have a tiny cloud chambmer in the vestibule of the building
