Glares change with the seasons. They get all mossy and green in spring, grow fruit (glowberries) in the summer, get all red and orange during autumn, and finally lose all their leaves and go into hibernation during winter.

Glare hybrids don’t need to hibernate but they still lose all their leaves in winter making them look basically human. That’s why Bdubs is not mossy at the start of season 10 (< in denial)
