Cohawk Week @cohawk-canoe Day 4 - AU ↳ Wings!AU

"Come on, Wooley. Figured you'd be able to keep up."

"To be frank, Commander, some of us aren't exerting as much energy as others."

There was only going to be one AU post, but my brain got ideas and sometimes you just gotta follow through (plus I wanted to draw more Cohawk). Fun fact: in the original sketch, the positions of the characters were swapped and you could see Cody's bare butt.

This fic is a delight and at 585 words it's a little too short for the usual formating.

The finished book is in the A8 format, measuring 5,4 x 7,2 cm.

I chose a marbled paper full of blues and swirling pinks to match Cody's misadventures in washing.

We did it! The first-ever Cohawk Week has concluded!

There are a whopping 31 works in the collection (stay tuned for a master post) and the CC-2224 Cody/Wooley tag now has 70 while the CC-2224 Cody & Clone Trooper Wooley has 58. I THINK that means Cohawk is no-longer a rarepair?

Well done and a hearty thank you to everyone who came along for the ride. You surpassed my every expectation for participation and I am thrilled!

What they had was new, nameless; a small bud slowly growing upon a young branch. They wouldn't share it openly - not yet. They'd hide away in Cody's personal quarters, share quick glances, or sneak away into storage closets for the aching need to be intimately close to the other. Wooley - to the surprise of Cody - would be the first to touch him in more open, public places. They were still small, still hidden, but it was a big step forward for the both of them.

He desperately hoped he was not about to have that sort of conversation with the commander.

 The 212th's CMO has seen a lot of cases in his brief medical career, but this? This is a new one.

As Wooley focused on the guidelines he had diligently transferred to his skin, Cody began to recite the answers to possible questions for an important exam in the coming days. He needed to practice, to see how much he remembered. It was also a perfect distraction from the pain that blossomed and spread along his ribs.
