No because I’m dead serious, why did she dress up in this outfit to go face Mao? Like… why did the show creators have her dressed this way during one of the most tragic moments in the entire series? What was the purpose of this? It drives me insane. This is my papyrus. I need an actual explanation. Why would such a perfect show with beautifully tragic scenes make it all goofy and silly with this outfit? This is the kind of outfit that’s on the screen when your parents walk in on you watching anime and you have to fight for you life to explain that it’s not even that weird of a show and that it’s actually quite serious. No seriously guys I need an explaination this haunts me to this day. The show doesn’t do comic relief in any of the other serious scenes, it’s just this one. Even Mao acknowledges how weird it is
