"They're shipping you out in a couple days."
"Yeah, guess they're really scared about this Federation if they're being this serious."
Elias narrowed his eyes. "That's not funny."
"I never said it was." Daniel rolled his eyes. "You really need to lighten up sometimes."
Elias huffed. Goddamn brat...never changes, he thought bitterly.
"So, they're only sending you?" The older man questioned, quirking a brow.
"Obviously, not just me," Daniel said with a laugh. "You worry way too much, Eli. I'll be fine."
"That's not what I meant, Dan."
It was Daniel's turn to narrow his eyes.
"So what do you mean by that?" The younger Walker demanded.
Elias shook his head.
"Whose going to protect you from yourself?" He questioned.
Daniel scoffed.
"I don't need protecting," he replied, somewhat harshly. "Look, I can handle myself. Just get through this and I'll be back before you know it."
"And if something were to happen to you, what of Arabella?"

ᯓ★Appearance:
⛧| Hair color: Chestnut brown
⛧| Eye color: Dark green
⛧| Height: 5'8
ᯓ★Personality:
Jacqueline tends to be a reserved and introverted person due to her past experiences, such as being bullied and being cheated on in her marriage. This has led her to be guarded and careful to open up to people. However, she has a warm heart and is fiercely loyal to those she cares about. She is also very dedicated and hardworking, and she uses her job as a military nurse as a way to channel her emotions and focus her energy.
It takes time to open up and let people into her inner circle. At times, she can be stubborn and set in her ways, but also empathetic and understanding when it comes to others. These traits make her a well-rounded and admirable character.
ᯓ★Background:
Jacqueline was born in 1985 in Los Angeles, California to Andrew and Arabella Walker (née Addington). She was the couple's 3rd child and youngest child of Walkers, 9 years younger than their first son, Elias and 2 years younger than their second son, Daniel. At a young age, Jacqueline was a very observant and perceptive child. Growing up in the Walker household, she was always alert and attuned to the dynamics within the family.
˙ᵕ˙Childhoodˎˊ˗
When she was around 5 years old, Jacqueline began to notice the changes within her family. Her parents were less affectionate towards each other, their arguments growing more frequent and heated. She often heard them through the thin walls of their home, their raised voices and sharp words cutting through the air like a knife. As the youngest of three siblings, Jacqueline felt a profound sense of confusion and helplessness.
By the time she turned 6 years old, Jacqueline witnessed the culmination of her parents’ rocky relationship. Her mother had caught her father in bed with another woman, and the ensuing argument led to a bitter divorce. The proceedings were messy and acrimonious, leaving Jacqueline in a state of shock and confusion. While her older siblings, Elias and Daniel, might have had a better understanding of the situation, Jacqueline was still too young to fully grasp the complexities of the emotional turmoil her family was facing. She found solace in a doll named 'Polly'. She would babble and played with it and used it as a source of comfort and support for her big emotions. 'Polly' became her constant companion during this transitional period.
꩜Teenage Yearsˎˊ˗
At the age of 14, Jacqueline's eldest brother, Elias, had left home to join the Army straight out of high school. This left Jacqueline alone with her mother and older brother in the house. Jacqueline's middle brother, Daniel, began to change for the worse. He grew resentful and angry at Elias for his decision to join the Army. He viewed it as a form of abandonment, similar to how their father had left years ago.
Daniel's behaviour grew more erratic. He frequently got into trouble at school, mouthing off to teachers and getting into fights. As he got older, he ventured into partying, drinking, drugs, and chasing girls. This concerned Jacqueline greatly, and she tried to intervene, offering help or advice. However, her attempts to help were met with Daniel's refusal and anger. He often lashed out at her, dismissing her concerns and walking away. Feeling helpless and frustrated, Jacqueline struggled to understand and connect with her brother's changing behaviour. She longed for the closeness they had once shared as siblings, but it seemed as if Daniel was drifting further and further away. Whenever Elias was home on leave or visiting, Daniel would constantly instigate arguments with him. Despite Arabella's attempts to keep the peace among her sons, Jacqueline would often stand aside and watch. She didn't intervene because she knew it would only make the situation escalate further, especially when Daniel was in a bad mood and Elias was trying to diffuse the situation.
Jacqueline's quiet nature and introverted persona made her a prime target for bullies, who exploited her vulnerability. The taunts about being "fatherless" cut deeper than the rest, as they triggered a sense of shame and insecurity within her. Despite her attempts to brush it off and ignore the bullying, the hurtful words lingered in the back of her mind, making her already lonely high school experience even more isolating and uncomfortable.
Young Adulthood Yearsˎˊ˗
After graduating high school, Jacqueline decided to pursue her passion for nursing by enrolling in the University of Michigan's nursing program. She chose this program because it specifically prepared students for a career as a military nurse, allowing her to combine her love of nursing with her desire to serve her country like her older brother, Elias.
In a bittersweet twist of fate, their mother, Arabella, was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Her final request was to spend her remaining days surrounded by her children. Elias and Daniel responded with a sense of duty and love, doing their best to care for their mother in her final days. In late 2003, she passed away in her sleep, leaving Jacqueline who was then 18 years old, with a heavy heart and a profound sense of loss.
After completing her studies at the University of Michigan and becoming a military nurse, Jacqueline met and began dating her high school boyfriend. They eventually got married, creating a new chapter in her life. However, the marriage took an unexpected turn, ending in divorce 6-7 years later. She discovered that her husband had cheated on her with another woman, and when he left, he spread lies, claiming that she was the one who had cheated. Despite her innocence, she chose not to defend herself and instead filed for divorce. Refusing to stand for his lies and infidelity, she kicked him out of their shared apartment, marking the end of their tumultuous relationship. In the wake of the breakup, she threw herself into her work as a military nurse, using her job as a distraction from the pain of her failed marriage.
As years passed, Jacqueline was finally introduced to her nephews, David and Logan. She had heard stories and seen photos of them, but now she would get the chance to meet and get to know them properly. Over time, she grew close to them, enjoying the connection and affection that came with being an aunt.
ᯓ★Trivia
── .✦⛧| Growing up without a father figure in her life, she somewhat had a tumultuous childhood. Her parents' divorce and her father's abandonment caused a lot of emotional trauma and instability in her life. Despite this, she was still loved and cared for by her mother and her older brother, Elias and Daniel.
── .✦⛧| Had a husband, high school sweetheart actually married since she was 21, divorced 6-7years later. (why else would he cheat on her when she did literally nothing wrong?) After he left, he tried to spread false info saying that SHE cheated and as a result, well, she just did nothing, except file a divorce. And Jackie did the right thing kicking him out of their apartment they had.
── .✦⛧| Her experience as a military nurse and combat medic for the Ghosts squad allowed her to gain invaluable experience and expertise in the medical field under intense conditions. She had received specialized training that enabled her to provide care and treatment to injured soldiers in the heat of battle without compromising her composure.
── .✦⛧| Her ability to think quickly and act decisively in high-pressure situations made her an invaluable asset to the team, ensuring that they could continue their missions while being treated efficiently and effectively.

Appearance:
*Hair color: Brown
*Eye color: Green
*Height: 5'11 / 180 cm

*Faceclaim: Glen Powell
Personality:
On the surface, Daniel comes off as your "typical" Marine: Loud, stern, a hard ass, and uses crude humor as well as being slightly unhinged to a degree. But through all of that, he is caring, kind man who would move the world for his friends and family.
Having lived a difficult life at a young age, Daniel holds somewhat of a cynical view of the world. "Can the optimism; shits only going to get worse so do yourself a favor" was typically his saying to recruits. However, this attitude lessened after he married and became a father; of which something he would not have for long or live long enough to let it change him completely.
Background:
Daniel was born on September 1st, 1983 in Los Angeles, California, to Andrew and Arabella Walker née Addington. He was the couple's second child, seven years younger than their first son, Elias.
Shortly after Daniel's birth, their mother had caught Andrew in bed with another woman, the affair having started months prior. The divorce was nasty, and Andrew signed away all of his parental rights, having no interest in being a father to his sons. Due to this, their mother worked herself to the bone to provide for her children, while Daniel was left in the care of Elias.
Growing up, Daniel was a happy, outdoorsy kid, from skateboarding with his friends and playing sports after school; he was never one to stay inside for too long. The only drawback was Daniel wishing Elias could spend time with him outside of just being a babysitter whenever their mother wasn't around.
When Daniel was 11, the then 18 year old Elias left home and joined the Army right out of high school. Despite still remaining in contact through letters, phone calls and sending money so his mother could provide, Daniel grew resentful and angry, seeing this as a form of abandonment much like how their father left. Daniel changed for the worst; often getting into trouble at school, whether it was mouthing off to a teacher or getting into fights, and when he got older, he turned to partying, drinking, drugs, and chasing any skirt that came his way. Whenever Elias was home, Daniel would often start arguments with him, despite Arabella's best efforts to keep the peace between her boys.
After he graduated high school, Daniel decided to join the Marines, seeing as college had not been for him and he had flunked out in the first semester. This decision was supported by Elias, hoping it could bridge the gap between them, but Daniel remained cross with him, still clinging onto the bitterness he had when he was younger.
The military life was an entirely different perspective for Daniel. The rigorous training and tight schedule whipped him back up into shape and straightened his bad attitude, something that he grew to be grateful for, as he knew he'd be dead in a ditch somewhere if he continued the way he did prior to enlisting.
Months after he completed basic training, Arabella was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and did not have much time left; her final request being that she spends the remainder of her days with her boys. Both Elias and Daniel, for their mother's sake, stepped up and looked after her when they could. She would eventually pass away in her sleep in late 2003, and this would lead to Daniel and Elias reconciling, and Daniel would be introduced to his nephews, David and Logan, whom he had grown close to.
Daniel gained combat experience throughout the Tel Aviv war, although he would not come out unscathed, with both physical and mental scars.
In 2004, Daniel met Mina Hutchinson, a waitress who worked in a cafe when Daniel was visiting South Dakota. The two eventually fell in love, and got married two years after dating. Mina's good nature and patience tempered out Daniel's hotheadedness, and he considerably mellowed out, much to the gratefulness of Elias, as he was more than happy to see his little brother find someone.
In 2007, Daniel and Mina would have their first kid, a girl they named Arabella after her paternal grandmother. However, Mina passed away shortly after giving birth due to complications, leaving Daniel as a single father. Despite the struggles and grief, after having been abandoned by his own father, Daniel swore to never let that behavior repeat, and with the assistance of Elias he stepped up, and made sure Arabella was loved and taken care of.
Unfortunately, Daniel would not be in his daughter's life for long. In 2011, while on deployment, he and his unit were ambushed by Federation soldiers. Daniel was killed instantly, having been struck by a sniper's round through the back of his skull; he was only 28 years old at the time of his death. He would leave behind the 4 year old Arabella, who would then be taken in by her uncle Elias not long after her father's passing.
