2024 has been a year full of lessons.

It feels like just yesterday I was setting my New Year’s resolutions, and now, in the blink of an eye, we’re here—celebrating another Christmas and preparing to welcome a new year.

I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities this year has brought me. From starting my business as a birthday project donation last year to joining so many cons this year—Cocoma, CF, Chibicon, Ulticon—and even collaborating with Seventeen community groups, it’s been an incredible journey.

Along the way, I’ve picked up new hobbies—or rather, revisited old ones. I’ve done some knitting before, but now I’m diving into crocheting and exploring embroidery next. On a deeper level, I’ve discovered new facets of myself through tarot and creating my own OCs universe. I’ve also been doing Bible study this year, which has been a grounding and enriching experience for me.

Looking back, there’s so much I’ve learned, experienced, and let go of. Letting go has been the hardest lesson for me this year. I’ve realized that some things aren’t meant to change, and some are meant to stay as they are—even when they make us uncomfortable. Through it all, I’ve learned how to make peace with the things I can’t control, though I still find myself revisiting that lesson when those situations arise again.

This year, I’ve also been embracing slow living—staying present in the moment, appreciating the little things, and letting life flow naturally. It’s a mindset I hope to carry with me into the coming years, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds✨
