*an hour after Alegander, Filbo, Snorpy, and you leave to go find Floofty, everyone is asleep, but Sunny wakes to a particular sound*

"*sobbing*"

-*"huh?"*-

*Sunny See's Sebastian crying alone a tiny bit away*

-*"Sebastian? What's wrong?"*-

"huh, oh y-you heard me?"

-*"yeah, Sebastian, what's wrong, why are you crying?"*-

"I-I just feel so useless"

-*"why?"*-

"Alegander has sharp claws, Filbo has sharp spikes, Wambus knows how to grow crops, Triffany has her book of rituals, and the list goes on and on"

-*"heh, I don't have much to do either-"*-

"you take care of Tommy..."

-*"still I can't do much either"*-

-*"we can get though this, together..."*-

"I have this other problem when other people worry about me, why waste your time worrying about me when you could focus on being happier, surviving, or anything else"

-*"because we care about you"*-

"why, I'm only slowing us down"

-*"no you aren't-"*-

"yes I am, if I wasn't so weak I wouldn't have been swarmed by bugsnax and we wouldn't have gone to the cave, Filbo wouldn't have been swallowed by Snaktooth, AND, AND I, I WISH I COULD JUST DISAPPEAR!"

*a long pause*

-*"Sebastian..."*-

*Sebastian starts to sob uncontrollably*

How was Coraline?

Delightful, just like the first time!

Man, I love that movie! You know, I like all the theories that she never left and that now she's stuck in the Limbo Pink Palace (thank The Fangirl on YouTube for that one), but I want to think that everything's fine now. Her parents give a shit about her now, her neighbors know her real name, and she has catching up to do with Mrs. Lovat.

One thing I forgot I loved so much about this movie was the soundtrack. My favorite track is Coraline Dispair, but Cocobeetles, The Famous Mister B, Dreams Are Dangerous and Ghost Children are incredible too. Overall a fantastic movie that comes from a fantastic book.

Florence + The Machine, most of the Coraline soundtrack (but especially “Dreaming”, “Exploration”, “Ghost Children”, “Cocobeetles”, and “The Hand”), “Come Round Soon” by Sara Bareilles, and Hozier all have such strong SMS vibes and I don’t know what it is that gives them that but I LOVE it.

*Wambus now is on the floor with a big slash on his chest and wings*
