My mind is literally only bugsnax now and I can’t stop it, help- I wanted to make a few Bugsnax OC’s because I felt left out, plus it’s all my brain could think about at work today. 

(EDIT: I had to fix a tag and somehow this post got really fucked up so I’ve just fixed it again, sorry about that guys)

From Left to Right ya got:

Rooty Snugglefig: Hunnabee Collector and Botanist. They love everything and all things colorful, and are usually very calm when left to their garden and their hunnabees. Never too fussy and always lending a paw

Cobbler Fumblegums: A self proclaimed ‘Speaker of the Snax’, he’s childish and very loud. He never likes to be too far away from the snax either, so he always hoards them in his hut. Pisses everyone off.

Truffles Bamblebush: The towns very own tailor, she’s your typical upperclass, snotty bitch. But while she may consider herself above the others, she does have a heart and will help is needed to.

Bronica Troubleblog: Bronica is Wambus and Triffanys oldest child. and a biologist. Much like her mother, she has a heart for learning and a stubborn attitude like her father, never backing down from a challenge.

Bungee: Bungee is Bronica’s pet Bunger that rescued her after she got lost in the grove. One of the few snax that the grumps found don’t wish to harm them. (The family eventually adopted him as a pet)

If any of the OC’s I have share a similar brain cell, it’s these two. They’re just too goofy and too invested in the snax to not eventually go: Hey wanna be buddies? Yeah, let’s talk Snax

Also, while Cobbler may be childish and obnoxious, he isn’t oblivious to emotions, and does like spending time with a new pal

Bugsnax OC Descriptions

Because I didn’t expand upon them as much as I did, I’ve decided to a seperate post talking about my Bugsnax OC’s here.

So without further ado, here we go!

Rooty Snugglefig (They/Them)

Rooty loves anything color, hence why they became a botanist. Rooty is a calm and gentle soul, they usually just go with the mood of the town. If the towns pissed, they’re pissed, if the towns happy, they’re happy, etc.

Growing up in such a dull and negative environment really put a damper on their mood. When they heard about an exhibition to Snaktooth, they thought they could start a new life that wasn’t as negative as the one they currently lead. While there they took an interest in the Hunnabees that roamed there, as long as they had flowers the bees always came around to play.

Likes: Hunnabees, Wambus

Hates: Truffles

Cobbler Fumblegums (He/Him)

Cobbler is the self proclaimed: Speaker of the Bugsnax. He is super childish, a real prankster, and very obnoxious. Not many of the grumps really understand what goes on his head, and frankly they like to keep it that way.

Truth be told, Cobbler was never meant to come along on the exhibition. He snuck aboard the ship to Snaktooth because he thought he was missing out on an adventure. Though that adventure actually ended up being a death trip. He never went to Camp and instead was dragged away by a bunch of Sprinklepedes. He learned to live amongst them and treated them as the only true family he has.

Likes: Kweebles, Kwookies, Scoopy Banoopy

Hates: Nothing

Truffles Bamblebush (She/Her)

A famed fashion icon lacking any inspiration. She’s stuck up and very picky, especially around what she wears. She always critiques what other Grumps wear as well. The only one she won’t critique will be her best friend, who really is the only one she doesn’t act all stuck up for.

She was already lacking in inspiration When she hears of the exhibition to Snaktooth island, she believed that heading there would give her the surge of inspiration that she needed to help her fashion industry flourish again. Though she has yet to properly explore the island and discover its beauties, she’s truly excited for the adventure...not that she’d let anyone else know.

Likes: Charmallows, Perriwinkle

Hates: Rooty, Bopsicles

Perriwinkle Pebblejam (They/She)

An explorer with a love for the frosty weather, Perriwinkle is a very giving and chipper Grumpus. Always in a happy mood, and never having a problem with the world, her best pal, Truffles, is the one Grumpus who they let her happy persona down for, for they knew that Truffles was easier to communicate that way.

When Perriwinkle had heard about the excursion to Snaktooth, she was the one who filled in Truffles about it and convinced her to come. Thinking that it could help Truffles out, it had also peaked her curiosity, and Perri immediately became curious about what could’ve possibly lurked out there in the frosted peaks that Liz spoke so fondly of.

Loves: Truffles, Scoopy Banoopys, Choxoate Sauce, (Basically Everyone)

Hates: Buffalocusts

Bronica Troubleblog (She/Her)

The 2nd oldest child of Triffany and Wambus, Bronica is no stranger to adventure. Much like the Grumpus she was named after, Bronica went on many excursions to dangerous locations and in pursuit of mysterious figures. Taking after her father, she never settled for Good Enough, but had a kind and caring heart just like her mother.

As a Biologist, she was always studying how life forms worked, and when it came to Snax, that was no exception. However, she was forbidden to come by her father, but still, she wrote to her mother everyday and was sent special samples of her mother and father’s work to experiment. When the crew did return, Bronica immediately went to study underneath the wing of Floofty, who was puzzled to think Wambus and Triffany could produce such a child.

Loves: Wambus, Triffany, Floofty, Peanut Butter, Bungy

Hates: Hunnabees, Praying Picantis

Bungy

(This takes places in a “Bugsnax Pet AU” I’m thinking of)

Bungy is Bronicas loyal pet, and assistant in all her experiments. A welcoming present from Floofty on her first day. Bungy is quite reckless and absent minded as most Bungers are, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a welcome member of the family, almost welcome anyhow.

Wambus still detests the idea of a Bunger pet, but eventually got used to the sight of Bungy, even if he is still ticked off by him. Bungy is a very welcome pet to the family.

Loves: His family, Ketchup

Hates: Shishkabugs, other Bungers
