“Still too fat, dude. Just coffee for you,” he says and you stand there and take it. You’ve never had anyone confront you on your food addiction or your increasing weight problem—till now. It’s humiliating but also deeply arousing. You remove the lid of your black coffee and sip. “Learn to enjoy it. That’s all you’ll be getting until you are at a decent weight again.”

Our workhorse who never gave up. He might be a wrestler who doesn't like to wrestle but he's incredible at what he does in-ring. The storytelling for each match, the emotions and selling of bumps, and more besides. He continues to show the world that despite his size, he too can stand with the biggest and show that he belongs. He was always told "you'll never do anything", "you're too skinny", "you're too short", "you're just a little too different"... Well guess what? he was the champion. He made a name for himself. He got over with the crowd and still, to this day, people are chanting "Freshly Squeezed" and rooting for him. Don't ever let anyone tell you any of the things Orange was told and believe them. He's living proof that if you continue to keep going, anything is possible. You, too, can be whatever you want to be and make a name for yourself, just like he has. <3

Sharks' nicknames (via SanJoseSharks on X, posted 26Nov24)
[Video description: A quick flash of the video thumbnail, William Eklund smiling overlaid with the question "What's your name and what do your teammates call you?" On a teal background. Then it switches to a shot of Givani Smith while someone says "What your teammates call you" with the overlaid caption "What's your name and what your teammates call you." Givani Smith replies "Uh, G or Smitty." Captions match responses throughout unless otherwise noted, with small differences of spelling and punctuation. Mikael Granlund, opening a door: Granny Will Smith, following Granlund through: Kibble (The video editor adds the text note "Kibble: confirmed 😂🐶"). The video switches from players exiting the locker area with their sticks to re-entering after practice. Ty Dellandrea: Ty, teammates call me Delly or Taco. Nico Sturm: Nico Sturm, uh, Sturmy. Vitek Vanecek: Hi, my name is Vitek Vanecek (pauses, looks down possibly to re-read the question, then looks back up) "V." William Eklund, holding a crochet doll of himself along with his gloves: William Eklund, Ekky, Eks, yeah, Wille, Swedish nickname (Wille is transcribed as Vilje). Ryan Warsofsky: Ryan Warsofsky. They call me Wars. Mario Ferraro: Mario Ferraro. Mar. Alex Wennberg: Alexander Wennberg. Wenny (Someone in the background repeats "Wenny" several times). The camera moves to the far end of the short hallway to show Fabian Zetterlund who was behind Wennberg as he gave his answer. The video speeds up as Zetterlund wanders aimlessly without approaching the camera and the caption "*trying to stall 😂*" appears. Toward the end of this Zetterlund smiles at the camera operator and approaches, but stops before comfortable talking distance and appears to read the question. Liljegren enters the hall and joins him, then says something indistinct and they approach the camera together. Fabian Zetterlund: Fabian Zetterlund (said with Swedish intonation, the note "Ok Swedish 🇸🇪" appears). The call me Fabbe. Timothy Liljegren: Timothy Liljegren and they call me Lily. Jan Rutta: My name is Jan and my teammates call me Ruts. Luke Kunin: Luke. Kunny. Sticks. Cody Ceci: Name's Cody Ceci, guys call me Cece. Jack Thompson: Jack Thompson and they call me JT or Tommer. Jake Walman, holding a few unopened boxes and packs of pokemon cards: My name's Jake Walman, teammates call me Wally. Tyler Toffoli: My name's Tyler and the call me Toff (Toffoli looks behind himself at someone off camera as he says "Toff." Toff is pronounced with an "O" sound like in "toe" not with the same sound as the first half of "toffee") Barclay Goodrow: My name is Barclay, teammates call my Goody. Video description end.]
Notes: Video taken after practice at Sharks Ice on Nov 1, 2024. In addition to the big things noted in the description, several of the players are carrying candy bars (and other unidentifiable objects). The yellow jerseys have to do with PP practice. More Eklund + doll pics (the creator self IDs in the comments). Slightly more detailed view of the pokemon packs.

With the season-ending loss, now that looming 3-peat pressure is off of them. They can rest, regroup and come back ‘25 clearheaded without that particular challenge on their shoulders. All of them.
They should really be proud for even staying in the race for the playoffs. Because this fight to be in the spot was a struggle all season. Despite how critical I have been with the Aces, I am proud of them! They really did put up a hard fought battle for 40 games! Especially with all the lineup setbacks against them — not having your point guard for most of the 1st half of the season was not easy to deal with. But they kept themselves in it!
Ms. A’ja “1’000-MV’3” Wilson….standing ovation to you sis! Really, the most amazing season I have ever witnessed from a player! The love of basketball was reignited for me because of you to where I even started watching the game in an entirely different, more analytical way than I’ve ever have before with the way you played! Against all that came with this season….you made us sooo proud! We’re sooo proud of you. We luv ya!
Tiffany “TIP” Hayes, you’ve been the secret sauce that the team needed and you showed up! You made coming out of retirement look like it was so easy!
Both of their awards were such icing to the historic season they gave themselves and us! And to Jackie, Kelsey and Chelsea…making TEAM USA alone is an accomplishment to be super proud of. Pushing through injuries (especially Chelsea) and personal situations (Kelsey), (Jackie with both) isn’t easy to do but y’all did it. Helped to bring gold! Megan and Tiffany making their respective country rosters as well and showing up big for their teams. And they’ve shown they belong with the Aces too. Kate, we’re ready to see that breakout for next season—I know she’s gained so much already that’ll shine for her sophomore year and onward. Alysha, if you’re retiring ma’am, thank you for every season with this team! That second chip was absolutely won in major part on your big guard but actually undersized energy! Sydney, your aura itself on the floor and on the sidelines and in-between games for your teammates has been the encouragement they needed and has been the entertainment for us! Kiah and Kiersten, their unnoticed fulfillment they provided to the team I doubt we’ll ever truly understand as fans but even so, it’s appreciated. Queen, we didn’t really get to see much (but with the little, I seriously saw there’s some hidden gems there) but everyone spoke highly of you and that means something.
It hurts as a fan so we know they’re crushed and hurting worse than we are. We, I, they really wanted this series to extend to definitely have that 3-peat opportunity. It sucks!
‘25 is unleashing a new appetite for them! They’ll be ready for another chip!
thanks, aces ♠️♠️

I did eventually fix my Mac copy of AssCreed and it was a problem of needing a file to go in a folder it wasn't in for whatever reason, and like two lines of code had to be added, and don't get me wrong I have a degree in programming so I know how to do that. HOWEVER I think it's ridiculous to charge someone 60 dollars for a completely broken copy of the game and even more ridiculous to tell someone to get fucked when they're mad their 60 dollar purchase doesn't work and when the fix took maybe 30 seconds once I figured out what was wrong.
Like. Yeah I knew how to fix it. But also you shouldn't need a literal degree in programming in order to boot up a game in this day and age. It should be as simple as clicking a button.

How to start and stick to a fitness routine that works for you
Exercise is one of the best things you can do for your health and well-being. Here are some tips to help you get started and stay motivated:
Check your health. Before you begin any exercise program, it’s important to consult your healthcare provider and get a physical medical examination. This will help you avoid any potential injuries or complications and determine the best type of exercise for you.
Set realistic goals. Start with small and achievable goals that match your fitness level and lifestyle. For example, you can aim to walk for 10 minutes a day, three times a week, and gradually increase the duration and intensity as you improve. Setting realistic goals will help you track your progress and celebrate your achievements.
Choose activities that you enjoy. Exercise doesn’t have to be boring or painful. You can find many fun and creative ways to move your body, such as dancing, playing sports, hiking, gardening, or joining a fitness class. Choose activities that suit your personality, preferences, and schedule. The more you enjoy your exercise, the more likely you are to stick with it.
Make a plan and schedule it. Having a clear plan and a regular schedule can help you overcome any excuses or obstacles that might prevent you from exercising. You can use an activity planner or a calendar to write down the days and times you will do each activity. You can also set reminders on your phone or computer to keep you on track. Try to make exercise a priority and a habit in your daily routine.
Find a buddy or a group. Exercising with a friend, a family member, or a group can make it more enjoyable and motivating. You can support each other, challenge each other, and hold each other accountable. You can also join an online community or a social media platform where you can share your goals, progress, and tips with other like-minded people.
Mix it up and have fun. Doing the same exercise over and over can get boring and lead to a plateau in your results. To keep things interesting and challenging, try to vary your workouts by changing the type, intensity, duration, or frequency of your exercise. You can also try new activities or equipment, or add some music or podcasts to spice up your sessions. Remember to have fun and enjoy the benefits of exercise.
I hope these tips will help you start and stick to a fitness routine that works for you. Remember that exercise is not only good for your body but also for your mind and mood.
