It may be heading in that direction! Chiaki takes Hajime's place for a bunch of scenes that were otherwise limited solely to the player (i.e. inspecting the kitchen with Imposter before the party). The story is virtually identical to the original SDR2, and Hajime still takes a major role in the trial, but we get some last-minute hints that we're in for some divergence from canon ...

Just got this at the bookstore! Had it reserved for months and really expected it to come out in September for some reason? It's a brand-new manga that seems to be a POV swap for The Only Valid Gamer ... or even a protag swap AU? Maybe? Hopefully? I'll see!
