I think the storytellers would've been better if they were more manipulators than active killers. So like instead of Ray killing Henry, they instill the idea in Nancy's head of Henry leaving her, which is what leads her to kill him. And instead of Evelyn mind-controlling Kennith, they just sort of make him worse with their worldview. Don't know how to apply this idea to Nathan since I'm not very knowledgable on Case 3

YES YES YES agree!!!! tho at the same time thats kinda what spoilers did in the og pre-rewrite version of the story, but i do agree that the whole pre-rewrite concept would be more interesting bc of the fact that the storytellers are tangible human (?) beings, unlike spoilers who is a sort of omnipresent poltergeist that controls the narrative

also the reason why you wouldnt be knowledgable on nathan is bc they were literally never written. case 3s story is very bare bones as it was never really completed but i like that bc it gives more room for interpretation n headcanons. but at the same time averys character is nonexistent and i hate it

NGL I hate the original and reboots of CMNCS for varying reasons, but it was still intriguing and I enjoyed it? And I feel really bad seeing GHOST rag on CMNCS fans on Twitter when they owe the majority of their popularity to those fans. It just comes across as unappreciative and a bit juvenile honestly? I get that they’re done with the series and dislike it, but it made them incredibly popular and a lot of fans still hold it dear and they constantly put those fans down for that. It’s hard.

i agree, and yes there’s lots of criticisms to be made about the story etc (i’m going to be real with you i haven't finished case 1, i’m just mostly here for the funky music and case 2. case 3 i didn’t like that much) but it is kind of sad to be directly insulted by a content creator you like just because you're a fan of their old works >public execution of one of their most popular characters... sure is something >ill still support them of course, but i wish they wouldn't do that >//

i feel like simon wouldve been more interesting if ghost actually got around to developing his character. i understand why everyone hates him but if he actually got a solid motive behind why hes such a piece of shit and got more fleshed out than "he is mean and bad" he could become the little meow meow of the cmncs fandom or something lol
