Hans-Peter van Velthoven

Music photographer Hans-Peter van Velthoven got the opportunity to take his career beyond the beaten track when he was pulled on stage by Bono in 2001.

Today he is working directly for musicians like James Bay and bands like Muse and Stereophonics. There is even a Muse film coming up which he is developing together with the band.

"Beyond”, czyli rozmowa o architekturze.

Beyond w języku angielskim oznacza „dalej, poza, nad i ponad”. Zastanawiając się nad wyborem kolejnego z gości, szukaliśmy wspólnego mianownika dla tych czterech określeń. Architektura świetnie sprawdza się w tej roli.

Gość kwietniowego CreativeMornings mówi o niej, że to osobny język. Nazywa ją skomplikowaną siatką kodów i znaczeń, która opisuje cywilizację, kulturę, relacje społeczne, tożsamość, jakość życia, czy miejsca, którymi codziennie nasiąkamy. Zauważa także, że przestaliśmy rozmawiać o architekturze. Że traktujemy mieszkania, jak każdy inny produkt – odkurzacz czy margarynę. - Nie doceniamy wartości architektonicznego dziedzictwa - niemieckiego modernizmu i dorobku powojennego naszych mistrzów.
