Today, October 1st 1910,  Bonnie Elizabeth Parker was born in Rowena Texas. When she was only 4 years old, her father died and Bonnie moved with her mother and her sister and brother to West Dallas to lived with her grandparents. 

Known for being a criminal in the 1930s with Clyde Barrow, Bonnie was a smart woman who wrote poems. Poems such as “The Story of Suicide Sal” or “The Trail’s End”.

Before joining crime, Bonnie was married by the age of 16 with a man called Roy Thornton. However the marriage came to a end and Bonnie returned to West Dallas to live with her mother and to work as a waitress.

She probably met Clyde Barrow in 1930, but in the same year Clyde was sent to prison and release two years after. With his release the robberies start. Although she and Clyde robbed banks, they also robbed gas stations, stores, and made some kidnappings to ask for many to the families of the victims. And they weren’t alone, Bonnie and Clyde had help from others in their crimes: Raymond Hamilton, Henry Methvin, William Daniel Jones, Ross Dyer, Buck Barrow, Blanche Barrow,  etc…

After 4 years on the run, Bonnie and Clyde were killed on 1934 on a rural road in Bienville Parish, Louisiana.
