Essentially, he is Clyde's demon form for when he goes unstable though this is really just Clyde in his truest form, being a glitch monster and all that.

Figured I'd draw Clyde in the middle of a painful transformation because I felt like drawing werewolves.

I think this may have been caused by his friend going rogue and a bite led to this.

Though I quite like both considering the 1st one reminded me of Sonic mania and the other just felt right. To be fair, the 1st looked rather shiny which does explain why I liked it without highlights.

While the two have found similar adventures...

The paths they take differ.

For now, a rivalry has struck.

Both were initially in the quest to defeat the motherbrain, the knower of all and the eventual end to life. This quest was to stop the cults & bigoted agents... And it was looking hopeful for them as they found most of the Paradoxium shards already.

This was until Clyde discovered that his power was linked in one way or another to this dastardly fiend... He felt a need to overtake what he felt was a god, defeating them now is a need to gain the strengths from the unholy.

Budd (Also known as Gabe at this point) , sees his quest as a holy crusade... To vanquish evil from a world in need of a hero. But seeing his long beloved friend take a path into darkness has got his blood boiling hotter than before...

This inner rage has made him even more of a threat than before on both sides, the same can be said for Clyde's instability. Whether the two end up killing one another or that they team up in unlikely odds is unknown, but it is inevitable that both will get hurt.

The motherbrain has proved to manifest itself within the greed that the Cybernian Allegiance bestowed upon its worst leaders. Who knows what could happen to Arcania or the world itself if the forces in Cybernia were to corrupt its way into chaos?

Who knows what could happen if the two face against the worst of the worst?

But if the two were to leap beyond humanity, what tragedy would occur next...

A thing I did with Clyde that is mostly inspired by a particular game I've been interested in, so I decided to do pixel art on the side there.

There is text below to explain why I did this little experiment:

This piece is somewhat inspired by the antonblast sprites I saw so I figured I'd do something in a style that is partially inspired by them, using sharper lines and black outlines.

I think I could've leaned towards the proportions in the pixel art for the drawing on the bottom left as I think that could've looked better on him, but hey I mostly did this to experiment on art styles to find ways to draw things the way I like them.

As for the colours, Clyde's default colours were always that vibrant, akin to sparkle dogs with how bright he generally is and that suited the style regardless since the characters in said style were rather vibrant.

Though the pose is definitely putting on Sonic vibes with that smig grin and I'm pretty sure Sonic did that exact pose at some point, or at least the top half of that pose.

I might practice a bit more and also play more of the game I was inspired by, especially given there are multitudes of things I never seen in there.
