it is a never ending ordeal of agony actually. it keeps me up at night as my brain is wracked with visions of ways i could have been Cuter during my day. the weight of cuteness sits heavy on my little doggy shoulders. the guillotine blade of not being Cute enough hangs over my stupid little doggy head and one day i fear it will fall. my life is a never ending series of regrets (about being cute) that will haunt me and my soul over millennia, until the inevitable heat death of the universe, where they will follow me into what awaits us after the end of Being. cuteness is what has brought me into existence and one day it will lead to my bitter, violent end

Little rage update to this because I found one of the articles again:

Imagine being so out of touch with your own production, you think Villanelle is happiest when murdering people.

As if she didn’t give a WHOLE MONOLOGUE about how she used to kill in a desperate attempt to find any sensation at all. As if she didn’t come out of that darkness through finally processing some of her trauma & building this relationship with Eve during S1-3.

As if that whole S3 finale never happened: The conversation with Carolyn, begging her to see value in anything besides her ability to kill, and despair when Carolyn refuses. The cracks in her voice while they dance as it finally hits her, all the people she’s killed, and she doesn’t want to kill anymore, but she steels herself & puts on one last show to kill the woman who’s after Eve bc she finally trusts Eve enough to start to be vulnerable & let her in & trust that she’ll still be there & not find her monstrous or disgusting when she gets back; the grimace as she leans into Eve on the bridge, letting her go bc it’s the selfless-love thing to do.

Villanelle didn’t send Eve up to distract the partiers because she’s happiest when killing people. (She wanted to be a goddamn interior decorator 😭 I’m begging y’all to LISTENNN.) That hasn’t been the case since season ONE, and that wasn’t even the FULL STORY back THEN. She sent her up there because she has processed her shit & she knows how horrible and irreversible it is to kill somebody. But she knew the Twelve had to die—for Eve’s sanity, Villanelle’s freedom & for them to have any chance at a free life together. So she saved Eve from that burden. Let her feel like she helped by dancing it out at a wedding, shining her light. Steeled herself, just like in S3, and got the job done.

Bc did y’all see her relief when she got back to Eve on the bridge? When it was over? The troubled expression as she watched Eve walk into the wedding? How the only time she smiled was when she came out of the kitchen to listen to Eve give her officiant speech about their relationship, and then she disappeared again—just grimacing during the killing (which was a 1 vs 12 fight without Eve btw, so ofc she couldn’t be clean about it)? Did you see the desperately sad way she kissed Eve at the bottom of the stairs before she sent her off, knowing what she was about to have to put herself through and wanting to soak in that goodness, to remind herself she’s loved somewhere before she went in and did that? How her whole body shakes after the last killing & she only smiles again once the weapon drops from her hand—as she realizes that might be the last time she ever has to do this?

Eve and Villanelle went in opposite, parallel directions over the course of the show, crashing into/embracing each other to finally find that balance and understanding. And hilariously (in the context of Neal’s comments), that journey means if anything, EVE is the one who “enjoys killing” at this point 😂 NOT Villanelle.

I literally don’t understand how any reasonable person even could come to the conclusions Laura Neal did in good faith, much less the goddamn show-runner. But then, she didn’t do it in good faith, did she. She sent the mentally ill queer woman on a quest to purify herself of sin through JESUS for 80% of a season & then SHOT her & threw her in the THAMES, the site of Eve’s acceptance in S3, so that Eve, as the formerly “straight” woman who was in love with her, could have the “relief” of getting her “NORMAL LIFE” back—

How long am I gonna be explaining to people, I wonder:

Villanelle is a compelling and relatable character—and so similar to Catra—& her relationship with Eve heart wrenching to watch because she turned herself into a weapon at a young age so no one could hurt her anymore? (And Catra and Villanelle are both power bottoms, and no, that’s not a joke—it’s character info.)

It’s why her backstory episode with her mom in S3, and the final shot of her crying on the train, are so perfect, for all people’s complaints about S3. And then she grew and changed. And Eve came back. And she let someone hurt her. She let someone in.

Because no, most people don’t have mental health scarring to the degree that Villanelle has. (A lot of that—the spy stuff, the Twelve—can be read as a way to personify a general sense of governmental repression anyway.) But there’s something very real about being a soft-hearted person who forced yourself to become a survivor, scrapping from day to day to find any reason to live, and then finally finding someone who understands you and doesn’t want to hurt you.

And for Eve, it was compelling because she was closeted. All the trappings of her old life—from Nico and their flat full of chickens, to her desk job—were symbolic of repressive, misogynistic, comp-het culture as a whole. Villanelle represented burning all of it down: rebellion, anarchy, honesty, freedom.

And it is absolute crap—not to mention WILDLY homophobic—that it would be anything RESEMBLING a “relief” for her to lose that freedom; to say her queerness and desire for more were a phase, and she’d be happier going back into repression.

It’s crap. And it’s one of the many reasons I have to be a writer.

it took jahseh a few moments before replying, he wanted to make sure that he wouldn’t get caught and had a plan to get back, since he was put into his grandmas house for the time being until he could get his life together.

“i’ve never met someone like you y/n, i wanna stick by you and learn about you, everyone in my life have either been mad negative or just plain jane’s. you’re different.”

“jahseh spit it out.”

jahseh then litterly spit out something in his throat

“jahseh, wtf not litterly.” y/n groaned.

“i like you y/n.” jahseh screamed as he then ran into the ocean.

y/n dropped the speaker on the sand and the towels she had in her hands and jumped to grab jahseh.

as she ran to jahseh he already was in the water and basically drowning.

“shit jahseh!” y/n yelled getting a hold of him by the shoulder. as y/n pulled him to the sand he wasn’t moving, she slapped his face and began to do cpr. as she went to do mouth to mouth to him she backed up and saw his eyes open. he then turned to the side and hurled.

“let it out, it’s okay.” y/n said patting his back.

“oh my fucking god, what just happened y/n.” jahseh said between burps.

“you told me you liked me, jumped in the water then drowned.” y/n said with a weak smile.

“oh,” jahseh said rubbing his head.

“yeah, i think we can do beach another day maybe when you don’t abuse tf out of the blunt.” y/n chirped flicking jah’s neck.

“ow y/n!”

“what do you mean beach another day?” jah asked.

“you’re too fucked, and i can’t deal with rescuing you again.”

“but i don’t wanna go yet.”

“wanna head back to my room?” y/n proposed

“yes!” jahseh yelled

“jah you are like actually a crazy high.” y/n laughed.

“so, you seem to like it, you’re laughing.” jahseh said in a dorky voice.

she smiled then grabbed his hand and led him to her room, she hoped that he forgot he confessed his feelings to her. she couldn’t tell if he was serious and knew that he wouldn’t say this sober she she rather not push it.

“y/n, your quiet.” jahseh said

“yeah, just focused on getting you upstairs.” y/n said scanning her card to unlock the elevator.

“yea right. you’re just speechless cuz i’m so handsome.” jahseh said, and as y/n looked at him he struck a pose.

“im just so in awe by you jahseh.” y/n said rolling her eyes.

“i knew it! now give me a kiss!” jahseh said puckering out his lips.

y/n put her hand on his lips and took his hand and led him to her room.

“jah sit on the bed, ima see if i have some water for you.” y/n said looking unfer her bed.

as she looked up with a bottle in her hand she saw jahseh looking at her with his dark eyes.

“you never said anything after i told you i liked you.” jahseh said in a dark tone.

y/n was frozen, “umm, because you ran into the ocean.”

“yea but you didn’t do anything.”

“jahseh why are you bringing this up?”

“because i like you y/n, let me in. i know im a quiet but trust me ill open up to you, i need you, don’t you get that?” jahseh asked with his glass eyes.

y/n rose from the floor and sat next to jahseh on the bed, “jah i would but im scared, you have a history of playing games.”

“yeah that’s the past though, i promise you y/n. i’ll do anything. mamas i will buy you roses everyday, i’ll do anything.” jahseh said leaving kisses on y/n’s neck as he begged for her to let him in.

“i dunno jahseh,” she moaned as his kisses got deeper.

“you do know.” jahseh in a deep tone, pressing his lips onto y/n’s. she fell back onto the bed and so did jahseh, their lips still connected to each other. as jahseh expected she didn’t stop kissing him, he put his arms around her body, giving a quick squeeze to her ass.

“jah, enough with my ass.” y/n hissed as she started kissing on his neck.

y/n lightly blushed, hoping jah couldn’t tell but he did.

I think fb was high as balls while writing these episodes, cause wtf was that. The 2 delulu buffoons (Grace and Amelia) really out here thinking they need to give MC their blessing for her to date Ozzy lmao. Another cringe double date with my annoying sister. She gets the frickin Hideaway, us Ozzy stans really be pied by fb. The clownery continues when they ask me to pay gems to listen to Whoremelia in which she way she hooked up with Toby, just kill me at this point. And I thought that Ozzy's surprise would be asking my MC to be his girlfriend, not whatever that cooking shitshow was. We couldn't even have sex this volume without paying for gems.

1/10 and the one point was just from Ozzy looking hot with that baby thing on him.

fb started off the season making overall changes to the flow from last season to this one which was substantially better when you look at the disaster that s5 was but then casa amor tanked the season. 9 episodes and 3 weeks in casa was INSANITY. Atp who playing the game still wants casa?? Bc I sure as hell don’t. Fb SUCKS at writing casa and it seems like they forget what to do afterwards. Let’s say, the Frankfurt game, I dreamed about Jo, and an OG. I immediately know first of all, it’s not gonna be good. Second, I KNEW Jo was gonna goal. It came out exactly what I thought in the end. It’s just like when I moved to another city on the day against Leverkusen and I saw a truck has a bright sign of “Leon” on it and rushed by and I knew it’s a sign.

When I’m too confident, usually it’s not gonna be good (Like Saarbrücken and Frankfurt I’m sorry, I even told you I can’t wait to see them kill before Frankfurt game, my fault, and that’s the only time I ever said something before a game.) . When I’m not confident, it may came out well.

And there’s something I just KNOW, like I know BVB gonna help us again Leverkusen. Like I know Bochum gonna help us on BVB (And Ruhr Derby will always give them a hard time). I even knew Gladbach will not always have that luck to win us. Like I know BVB it’s just not good at dealing with Bayern. Some of them are just common sense to me.

The only thing I’m not sure about is just ref and the weather, they are unpredictable to me. When I saw the game with Stuttgart without Leon and Jo, I immediately took out my wine and start drinking lol. It’s a technique called ‘prepare to celebrate like you will do at the end’. It’s very MAD to drink at 1:30 pm, but I know I have to do it. (btw I did the same thing on Bayern ManU 4-3 game. Cuz I knew it was close.)

I think that for both it's a build up of things, it's a gradual realization. It comes from the little moments when Fenix finally sees how there's someone who's reliable and strives to help him and cares for his wellbeing and Vesper suddenly realizes that she smiled more in the last week than in the last 2 years, when they're together in such a busy city like the one they live in and it suddenly feels like it's just the two of them in the whole world, in the smiles and laughs and longing stares, it's all an explosive mix until they just have to surrender to the realization..they make me white knuckle grip the sink fr.

Fenix wants to be on his own after a fight, just like Vesper tbh but while she could keep on fighting for hours he just walks away before saying stuff he could regret.
