People really enjoyed themselves with the last list of questions I made! So I made an even bigger one!! So much so, I don't really expect anyone to answer all these questions. Just pick and choose whatever you want to answer if it's too much lmao

‼️This is not just for OCs! If you feels you've modified one of the canon characters so much that they're a whole different person now, tell me about them as well please!‼️

I will also tag a bunch of people whomst OCs I really enjoyed and remembered from the last list of questions! There will be some repeat questions here, so you can elaborate if you wanna or just skip those lmao

Why did you create this character? Just for fun? Or is there a purpose behind them? Maybe a canon character you created them for? As a friend, love interest, sibling, child, parent, rival, nemesis?

What's the family situation of your OC? If they have family, how about a brief summary of the relationships of their family to the canon characters?

What are their other notable relationships to Canon characters? (Example: Hibari's little brother also happens to be Tsuna's childhood best friend and Gokudera's love interest) If there are none right now, are there any plans for relationships in the future?

Combat Questions:

Oh no! Your OC is unable to fight! (Too tired, injured, whatever) How do they deal with the enemy now? Do they flee, still try to fight, call for backup, or what do they do?

Philosophical Questions:

Answer this first before reading/thinking further! Would your OC change anything about themselves if they could?

What's their favourite colours? Their favourite season? Their favourite weather? Their favourite animal?

What are their hobbies? What are they passionate about? Is there a passion they had to give up? If so, why?

What kind of people do they dislike? Do they like who they themselves are?

What is their biggest secret? What's the biggest/worst lie they ever told? What lie do they frequently tell themselves?

What's their darkest desire? What's their biggest hope for the future? If they had the money, how would they want to change the world they live in?

If the world ended tomorrow, how would they spend their last day on earth? Who would they want to be with? Their worst fear stands between them and saving the world, would they be able to overcome that fear to save the world?

What would be their civilain dream job? If they had to kill someone innocent to save a friend, would they be able to do it? How long would their choice haunt them? Would they be able to face their friend if they decided to sacrifice them, but things ended up working out?

Your OCs biggest, wildest dreams all just came true! What do they do next? Who do they celebrate with? How do they celebrate? Loud exhilaration or quiet disbelief?

After these questions, I ask again, what would your OC change about themselves if they could? Did the answer change?

Sawada Tsunayoshi burst into flames, flew into the sky and took out a missile that was headed towards the area your Oc was in. How do they go about interacting with Tsuna after that?

Gokudera Hayato dragged your OC to an empty classroom to investigate ghosts, but it turns out it was just teenagers. Hayato seems genuinely disheartened, does your Oc want to comfort him?

Sasagawa Ryohei just pulled your Oc away from oncoming traffic! He proceeds to ask them to join the boxing club! How do they go about rejecting him, given that he just saved their life?

Levi-a-Than just told your Oc that they'd be so pretty if they put a bit more effort into their look. How does your Oc react?

Superbi Squalo yells so loud it's almost bothering your Oc! How do they tell him to quiet down? How long do they last in the every-man-for-himself Varia-style brawl that comes next?

Mammon is wanting to extort your Oc for money. What blackmail material does Mammon have to do so? (What is an embarrassing thing your Oc did that Mammon could reasonably find out about?)

Fran is getting on your OC's nerves, constantly and seemingly very much on purpose. Everyone else is already using that boy as target practice, so does your Oc join in?

Others:

Dino Cavallone compares your OC to Tsuna. Is your Oc insulted by the comparison? What if it was accurate?

Dino's right hand man Romario invites your character out for a drink! What drink do they order to impress, intimidate, or endear themselves to the Cavallone Familia? Or do they reject the invite entirely?

Hibari's right hand man Kusakabe Tetsuya thinks your Oc is too noisy and tells them to shut up if they don't want to get bitten to death. Does your Oc take that as a challenge? Hibari Kyoya does not seem to be nearby in the first place... (He is watching from a nearby roof)

Something got past the safety on your OC's garbage cans and made a massive mess! Ken stands as the main, but not the only suspect. Does your Oc make that accusation? Do they worry they would offend Ken for accusing him of that, just for having more animalistic behaviours?

Chikusa's yoyo just flipped off it's string and bonked your Oc on the head. He acts apologetic, but your Oc has a feeling he did that on purpose. How does your Oc proceed?

why have i never seen anyone talk about how tsuna kills byakuran? because he does, he kills him. so like, can we talk about this? and i know he's still alive in his time, but that's literally not the point, it literally doesn't matter here. especially when tyl he still very much stays dead because that's one of the conditions for everything he did to be erased. and tsuna did this, killed him. burned him alive, in fact, and in cold-blood too.

okay, so maybe not in cold-blood, because he was full of rage and hatred and pain and grief when he did it, but like. he was still very much aware that it was what he was doing. that it was what he wanted to do, because he was full of rage and hatred and pain and grief when he did it.

can we just talk about this for a minute? about what happens after when he cools down? when he realizes just what he's done? because he wanted to do it?

byakuran is literally his first kill, can we just acknowledge that? and he burned him alive of all things, like. idk, i just.

tsuna killed him. tsuna killed him. tsuna just killed someone for the first time in his life. and isn't that ironic when the whole point was so they could go back to the past where their hands aren't forced to get bloody? not as much anyway? doesn't that make it even more fucked up?

tsuna kills byakuran.

so interesting that this is what being a "small animal" means to him. and of course that he calls tsuna that. and even if in the panel right before these ones he says "i'm not with him", he so clearly is and has been for a long time now, and it's precisely because he sees tsuna as a small animal. sees him taking on more than he can bear, and so he takes part of that burden to bear himself so it won't crush him. hears him crying out for help and doesn't look away, doesn't act as if he didn't hear it. answers his call.

because that's what the strongs do, right? that's something only the strongs can afford to do, and so it makes it their responsibility to do it. and also because he can't let tsuna be crushed by all that weight on his shoulders before he reaches the full potential he sees in him, before he finds fangs of his own (< or whatever the exact phrasing he used during the varia arc was lol, you know the line i'm talking about).

and originally that's all this post was going to be about, but look at what he said then i didn't remember him saying:

it's such a rare treat to see hibari confused and not sure of himself in or in control of any given situation, but he's nothing but confused in his fight against genkishi, and it's the cutest he's been so far tbh.

also it's super funny (and he's even more hilarious than usual) and made me realize that whether he's confused or not, he's at the very least always out of the loop of what's actually going on because he's always so dismissive of everything he doesn't care about, i.e, will he get to fight someone strong, and did anyone break namimori middle's rules he has to bite to death, and is anyone trying to boss him around he has to bite to death. and it's literally it, he does not care about getting any type of context whatsoever any more than that, and even actively makes damn sure no one can fill him in like with dino during the varia arc because he's a little shit. and would probably make himself forget on the spot even if someone did manage to fill him in on the situation, because he does not care.

and it's super hilarious to think about what he thinks is going on at literally any time? like, i would pay money to have his pov on everything that happens in the manga. does he think everything that happened since mukuro was other schools picking a fight with nami middle the way it technically was with mukuro tbf with him? did he think the varia were some kind of gang targetting nami middle or something? did he even realized yet that tsuna is a don-to-be and that dino is an actual don? does he even know what vongola is yet, or does he think everyone always talks about clams a whole fucking lot for some reasons, and maybe he should make it against nami middle's rules too because it's annoying?

like, he time travels to the future, and his priorities are 1) yams lying beaten on the ground (not for the right reasons lol, but this one is still valid of him), 2) genkishi's eyebrows being against nami middle's rules, and 3) kusakabe ordering him around, without a single thought spared to, you know, the obvious time-travel he's just gone through.

like, for tsuna khr is him getting dragged into mafia business times and times again, but for hibari it's probably, like. people keeping starting beef with nami middle, but it's fine because they're strong and he gets to have fun biting them to death LMAO. this is so fucking funny??

hibari is literally the funniest character in this manga hands-down, he wouldn't be caught dead giving a single fuck about anything ever, bless him

n°2

but what ABOUT a khr au where the arco are tsuna’s guardians tho?? where they speedrun him through his growth with all their chaos, seven little not-babies menaces running around and stretching his sanity very thin, but going batshit crazy whenever anyone else even only mildly inconveniences him. batshit crazy in the murder way of course. also tsuna is low-key insane himself, as a treat.

anyway i think this is how they'd meet:

REBORN

okay so let’s just put aside the fact that tsuna is the last vongola heir for a bit, but of course they still meet. reborn is in namimori for one random hit or another, and he just so happens to cross paths with tsuna. tsuna who’s walking home from yet another day of bullying at school by both teachers and students, and looks miserable and pathetic, and the way he holds himself all hunched up over himself and ducking his head because god forbid he makes eye contact with anyone and looking around him like something will jump on him from nowhere and everywhere tell reborn everything he needs to know about what kind of pitiful life he lives, but. he still catches his attention.

so he purposefully walks past him to test him and test the waters in his best “i’m just a normal baby” impression, and tsuna. tsuna does a fearful, wary double take that seals his fate, because reborn? reborn goes “oh, he’s a too beautiful diamond in the rough to be left unpolished.”

he shows up the next day at his door, says he’s a tutor and he’s here for him.

“you’re a baby,” tsuna says, with too much wariness and disbelief he shouldn’t have the self awareness to have.

“let me in, i wasn’t asking,” reborn says.

“i’d still rather not.”

reborn gets in somehow, and by the time tsuna needs to make sense of that (he doesn’t), reborn has already charmed his mom with a gentlemanly bow and removal of his hat as a greeting, and a “what a lovely home”, and a “this is truly some delicious coffee”, and a “under my guidance, your son’s grades will noticeably improve within only a month, and i only ask for a roof and food in exchange.”

tsuna sits across from him at the kitchen’s table, because what else is there to do at this point?

“did you ever try killing one of them?” reborn asks him casually out of the blue. “i think it’d significantly improve your obvious, deep self-esteem issues, and your life in general.”

and the first words out of tsuna’s mouth are “i mean, it would, but--”

reborn stays. (of course he was always going to stay, but this? he wouldn’t miss on this for anything in the world.)

COLONNELLO

i like to think that wherever one of the arco goes, at some point or another all the arco end up there too and make it everyone else’s problem, so of course one day colonnello just bursts through tsuna’s window, all guns blazing and aimed at reborn, triggering reborn’s traps around his sleeping place, and suddenly there’s bombs exploding in tsuna’s bedroom. of course reborn responds to colonnello in kind and more.

tsuna screeches screams, falling from his bed, then scrambles for cover for literal dear life as reborn and colonnello use his bedroom as a battlefield. his clumsy, flailing limbs and panic make it harder to get under his desk, the bullets wheezing past him and reborn and colonnello using him as foothold which will definitely leave bruises not helping, and almost like they’re doing it on purpose (reborn totally does).

colonnello eventually deigns noticing him once reborn and him are done saying hello to each other. he raises his eyebrow. “you got a kid?”

“i found him,” reborn says.

he’s more like a pet, really, tsuna hears loud and clear, and you know what? he’s okay with that. he’s really not ready to deal with the implications and expectations of being reborn’s kid just yet. being his pet is a hell of a lot less stressful, and reborn is making his life pretty damn stressful as it is already.

“hi,” he greets colonnello. “maybe next time you can use the door? it’s something pretty common over here a lot of us have. maybe you can even knock? it’s just kind of seen as the polite thing to do, you know.”

colonnello laughs, startled and delighted. “you’re literally hiding under your desk right now, where the fuck does that sass come from?”

“i know, right?” reborn says. “he’s full of surprises.”

“yeah, i can see why you like him.”

FON

tsuna thinks he’s having a stroke when he meets fon. thinks he’s looking at hibari who somehow was turned into a baby, and is freaking out too much to really notice the red pacifier around his neck and getting to the calming conclusion he’s just another one of reborn’s friends. thinks he’s looking at hibari who’s so pissed by having been turned into a baby, he’s smiling.

“hello,” fon says, bowing his head, and tsuna thinks it’s hibari genuinely being nice with him.

he faints right there and then in the street.

Mon billet n°1 en 2022

do you ever think about how absolutely horrifying reborn being the world's greatest hitman is. about what a monster it makes him, like, in a fundamental, intrinsic way, what a monster it makes him at the very core of who he is, even if he clearly learned to reign it in, even if he's built himself a good enough humane mask other people can believe in and believe him when he says and acts as if he still cares about what being human means, even when most days now he can barely remember the times he actually did, if they were ever such times.

it's like. amano shonen-ed the whole mafia thing so to speak with the power of friendship and found family even through deaths and blood and violence, so much so the deaths and blood and violence ended up merely being props to the power of friendship and found family, so much so she ended up portraying the mafia positively enough--or at the very least implying that positive side it could have strongly enough, canonically and narratively whenever we're reminded of reborn being the world's greatest hitman, we're always told we're supposed to be impressed by it, to respect him for that, that he's a standard other characters have the right idea to strive for and can only hope to come close to one day. like, remember his fight against iemitsu? when he says iemitsu fought countless battles to protect his family, but much less than himself, and he's actually praising the both of them, because reborn has reached the greatest heights of being a mafiosi and we're supposed to find that commendable, when what he actually says is that he's slaughtered countless that dared to pose a threat to him and what he cares about, but how would we ever know if they were actually a legitimate threat and if the lengths he might have gone to dispose of them were even remotely warranted or fathomable from a human point of view if you know what i mean, and even if they were, like, the sheer numbers of them--

do you just. ever think about what being an arco means? about what earned them that title, the path they walked on so far and so well they earned themselves that title, and what it means that they did. not necessarily for all of them of course, because being the smartest person in the world doesn't have to mean at all you brought that intellect into the darkest human places there are, and being the world's greatest stuntman doesn't give you much opportunities to go to these places to begin with, but reborn, my god. he's the world's greatest hitman. the world's greatest hitman. and he prides himself so much on it, is so casual about it.

do--do you--do you just ever think about it? and go a little crazy about it? and lose your whole goddamn mind over it--

i rewatched the first gen arc and it was unexpectedly sooo much fun!!! i really enjoyed myself a lot in front of it, and i especially liked gokudera's trial. g!gokudera was really super fun to see. and now don't get me wrong because i love gokudera just the way he is and i wouldn't change anything to him, but that soft expression g!gokudera had... that more poised and quiet voice he had... yeah i might have swooned a little at it, and what about it. (oh wait, i didn’t just like the episode because of g!gokudera lol. it was of course also nice to see the bond between gokudera and tsuna.)

on the other hand it sucks that clearly only mukuro was recognized worthy of the inheritance by daemon despite what tsuna told chrome, but are we surprised. (it was nice seeing the girls interact with each other and stand up for each other and stick up for each other tho!) and talking about daemon, he made some good points tbh, despite ultimately being wrong in, like, the way he acts on them i guess? or at the very least the way he wants to force his ideals on other people. but anyway, yeah, he had some really interesting exchanges with the 10th gen, and especially with tsuna.

i really enjoyed the little glimpses we got into the first gen's personalities too, into their dynamics and especially daemon & giotto dynamic, and what they used to be like back in their time. and also of course the little crumbs we got about their fallout with daemon.

omg yeah also!! giotto's voice??? idk who was the voice actor for him but goddamn. he just sounded soo nice, i loved it. but talking about giotto, i don't remember anymore the one i've seen it say it, but it is really weird he was kept in hyper dying will mode the whole time. like, is that really the form his will would have taken? and if it's really the case then there's something off to be said about it, but i can't put it in words lol.

well, to take tsuna as an example, it's like. idk, but like, i think we can all agree tsuna's hyper mode is mostly only a battle mode, right? like, 90% a battle mode more than the expression of his dying will. and of course it is that too, but tsuna always expresses his will at its strongest and most resolved in his normal state. and then he gets into (hyper) dying will mode to act on it. i mean, that's how the bullets work to begin with. if your dying will isn't strong enough when you're shot with them, you just die lol.

now for a little word about skull, but he has much more of a pathetic silly little guy behavior (once again, absolutely affectionate) than he's made out to have in fanon, which is also a call out on myself. and it's just equally so hilarious and endearing, and i just have to say again i totally get why he was the one to test tsuna on his charisma, and i love him so much, but what else is new.

but also @cloudspark upon rewatching that arc, i stand corrected that skull's relationship with his men is a little less ride or die than previously believed. at least on skull's side, because turns out he has no qualms about escaping by himself when things get tough lmao. (he’s SHAMELESS i'm telling you!!!)

but it IS true he sees every one of his mission to the end no matter what, because instead of actually escaping in his little airplane, he actually came back for more and, naturally, ended up having his ass beat by hibari. press f in the chat for our self-proclaimed king no one else's willing to bow down to sjdksjsksks.

(TO BE FAIR THO, i think it's safe to say it was understood by everyone there that no one was going for actual harm, let alone for the kill. skull was going for blowing up namimori middle as collateral damage without a care because he's a dumbass, and the girls and kids ended up at risk of actually dying because, again, skull's a dumbass, but ultimately the INTENTIONS were all about making hibari take his inheritance trial, and skull's men got pretty much unscathed from the blowing up of their airship.)

anyway back to the point, but yeah, all around it was a really nice arc! i for one enjoyed the little reminder about the guardians' duties, and seeing how each of the 10th gen embodies their respective duty, and how they weren't all quite there yet, but they were all already still worthy of their duty as a guardian. and honestly i enjoyed both the arco trials arc and the first gen arc so much, i think i might just rewatch the anime too once i finish rereading the manga!

Notes:

Fireclan kits dont get scales until they’re almost six moons anyway, so fireclan apprentice ceremonies have two officiants. The mother, to give the new apprentice their prefix, and the leader, to give them their apprentice suffix

Makes sense, I wonder if their kit-names are different in structure or theme, more broad maybe.
