“Land dweller Cookies always think that praying to the sky will make all their wishes come true…”
You, the Hail Deity, laying in a sea of offerings as two servants fan you at the sides since you’re the only one that takes said offerings:
You fail to see the problem that Wind Deity is talking about. It doesn’t hurt to answer some of the land dweller cookies every now and then, especially if you’re greatly blessed with offerings like these.
Tumblr media
“Hail Deity Y/N Cookie! Have you been down there with the land dwellers again?!”
Yeah, what of it? Wind Deity needed to loosen up every now and then.
Tumblr media
“Oh, how’s the sky god going to take this? Hail Deity Y/N Cookie has a pile of those offerings!”
Oh, Stormbringer? She’s over there.
Tumblr media
Cue Stormbringer on another side of the pile as she helps herself to the offerings, munching on them one by one.
Tumblr media
“That didn’t take long…”

Cloud Deity Cookie x Farmer Reader
(PS: Deity's aren't supposed to fall in love with mortals 👀)
Enjoy the milkshake! It’s 1 am and I’m feeling vindictive today so you get ANGST
A love not meant to be
-romantic angst-
!TW! Sad under the cut
The duties that Cloud Deity had to preform were simple. Collect life powder from the earth, form a cloud, send the cloud off, repeat. That’s what Cloud Deity did when not being bossed around by Strombringer. He didn’t mind it, but he would want to change scenery at times, being at one place for a long time bored him.
Traveling around kept Cloud Deity on his feet, and it also allowed him to collect life powder that might be missed by the other two. It was a great system!
But Cloud Deity’s favorite thing to do when collecting life powder was to watch all the cookies do their daily tasks and live their lives. He saw cookies be joyful, solemn, enraged, afraid and every thing in between. It intrigued him. He never knew how a mortal lived- at least from a mortal prospective.
Cloud Deity had lived a long time and never really felt pain at caused mortals great grief of anger. But… Cloud Deity had a chance to feel those emotions and live through a mortal lenses.
Cloud Deity has set up a spot for when he’d collect life powder the next morning, it was mid afternoon on a bountiful spring farm. Cloud Deity wanted to look around, see what he could observe. He observed many things, like bees buzzing from flower to flower, birds building nests, a cat walking along a fence and cookies greeting one particular cookies as they passed by.
Did that cookie everyone great own this lovely farm? Cloud Deity had to take a look for himself, now he wasn’t expecting anyone special. He expected some elderly cookie waiting for someone to come by and help them. But what Cloud Deity saw was different.
Cloud Deity saw a cookie much younger than what he was expecting, this cookie was working on some plants that had grown themselves by their fence. But the longer Cloud Deity looked, the more he noticed the cookies looks, this cookie might have been the first cookie to take his breath away.
Cloud Deity quickly shook his head and went back to where he set up, life powder was already rising up to the clouds and he had to get to his duties. But the cookie he saw… they were so radiant that their thought made the deity blush
Once the sky was full of clouds and life powder, he had to wait until it was time to collect once more… but instead of going to watch the town close by, he wanted to be a bit more… adventurous
Cloud Deity had never touched the same ground mortals did. It was scary to trust his gut and set his feet on the ground… it felt odd… he preferred to be up in the clouds but he just had to talk to that cookie on the farm
The walk was more difficult than expected, mortal ground was certainly more bumpy and rougher than the clouds and sky he walked on but Cloud Deity was determined
After a small walk, they came into view, that farmer. The one that he saw earlier! Now to say Cloud Deity was nervous was an understatement… this was the first mortal he would ever talk to… so he would hate for this to be awkward.
But to either Cloud Deity’s delight or horror, the farmer noticed him. They asked him what he was doing her and who he was, Cloud Deity said he was new around here some he wanted to know about the people he would be living by.
The farmer chuckled and told Cloud Deity their name. Y/N Cookie a radiant name for a radiant cookie. Cloud Deity had to collect his thoughts before talking Y/N Cookie that he was Cloud Cookie
After that the two grew ever closer. The bond was unbreakable. Months went by fast, and a year went by like a cloud on a sunny spring day. Cloud Deity Cookie had to admit to Y/N Cookie that he thought they were the most radiant cookie he’s lied his eyecing on.
Flowers of the brightest variety and gems of the most vibrant were good enough for you. You were like the sun to his darkness. Your smile was enough to light up the sky and free it from any over hanging clouds. Cloud Deity was smitten and everyone knew it… and I mean everyone…
The years went by and Cloud Deity wasn’t doing his duty with the clouds and life powder. Wind and Rain Deity noticed this and filled The Sky God in. The god was enraged because this was Cloud Deity job. That’s all he had to do. But instead he ran off with some mortal.
The worst day struck suddenly. There had been a drought going on and Cloud Deity knew that Rain Deity’s was doing something! But… the worst part about no rain was the fires… his beloved Y/N Cookie worried about their crops… but Cloud Deity made some promises…
“I will bring in clouds to calm the scorching sun”
The clouds made the smoke unseen by passerby’s
“I promise the wind wouldn’t blow any fire into your harvest”
The wind blew in some fire which burned down the whole harvest
“I will make sure the thunder is all gone for you”
A lighting strike was the last thing he saw you with…
“Once I do all of that I will bring in the rain”
The rain started to fall once you and your harvest were gone.
……
…..
….
Stormbringer and the two other deity’s could watch as Cloud Deity fell to his knees, a ring clasped I his hand. “Come on. It’s time for work” was all that Stormbringer and the other deity’s had concluding this mess that Cloud Deity had brought in himself.
If he didn’t break one rule…
You’d still be with him…

[HELLO FELLOW COOKIE RUN FAN !!! it's not embarrassing at all, it's a very cute prompt !!]
[NOT PROOFREAD BC I AM TIRED]
Wukong with a Moon Goddess S/O
Tumblr media
Wukong had first met you when you landed on one of the beaches on Flower Fruit Mountain.
Your impact caused quite a crash, being able to be heard from his hut with all the monkeys nearby freaking out from the loud noise.
Wukong immediately went to check it out, holding an arm out in defense of the small simians behind him when he saw your form slowly sit up on the sand below you.
When he saw it was a deity, he kept his guard up of course but something about you was just so… alluring?
He couldn't keep his eyes off your features as he slowly walked towards you, bending down to gently help you up.
“Hey, you ok there?” His voice spoke lowly to you as you turned around, and it was like love at first sight if you could believe it!
He felt a boom in his chest as his eyes met yours, he swore he could see beyond the cosmos in your (eye-colored) pools.
Once you explained you were a moon goddess and you accidentally landed here from your magic, he decided he was gonna help ya!
Over the next few months, you stayed with Wukong on FFM (despite you could easily get back home, you two were just too curious about one another) and you two hit it off quite well. Whether it was telling each other stories or just sitting next to each other and enjoying the other's company.
He also found your powers and magic kinda funny, it was like the complete opposite of his, just like you.
He was the light and you were the night after all.
Despite being so different, you balanced each other quite well, you were softspoken and calm while he was just the complete opposite of that.
He loves to take you on his cloud, you both would fly through the sky and land at a random spot to star gaze.
He loved it when you talked about the cosmos, you were so passionate about them and he could listen to you talking about them for hours.
Stargazing on a random cliffside was actually the place he decided to confess, despite being the self proclaimed great sage he was BEYOND nervous.
Although it had only been about a year since you landed on FFM, he knew this was genuine love especially since he had been alive for so long.
He decided just to go for it.
Hey if you reject him, he’ll just go into hiding on Flower Fruit Mountain somewhere for the rest of eternity, easy peasy!
Wukong took a breath as he gently grabbed your face, taking your attention away from the night sky to him.
A warm smile spread across his face as he took ahold of your hands in his.
“Hey starshine, I’m not really experienced with this sort of thing. But, I think we should take this to the next level if ya know what I mean… Because I LIKE like ya. So, what do ya say?”
Of course, you liked him as well giving him a kiss in response.
"Sorry I should have asked... Is that ok?"
A big goofy smile spread across Wukong's face as he scooped you up in his arms, nuzzling his nose against yours under the cool glow of the moon.
"Of course, that's ok moonlight, it's always ok for you to do that. In fact, you should do it again."

The Old Gods and The New - Chapter 15
Tumblr media
The Golden Palace | Loki x Reader
Questions are answered at The Golden Palace of the Gods, but some things are best left unsaid.
Warnings: some language and angst, daddy issues but not the fun kinky kind (sorry!).
AN: Not gonna lie I've been nervous to put this one out, I've tried to research and add some gods that to be honest I didn't know much about. This has been a learning process for me! This is intened to be taken in the same vibe as Love & Thunder with depictions being very surface level, just like Thor and Loki aren't exactly as they are in their own mythologies.

You had never travelled by Bifröst and, as Thor released your hand, you swore never to do it again. Your head swam with colours, your stomach churning and you regretted the second cookie you’d scarfed down while you and Loki hastily packed and left his cabin.
“How did you fare, Trouble?” Thor laughed, slapping a meaty hand on your arm and peering down at you. At your side, Loki slid his grasp from yours to wrap an arm around your waist, holding you steady against his sturdy body. You were grateful for his grounding presence, the way his sedir seemed to curl around your magic, keeping it from flaring in fear.
“Darling?” Loki pulled you impossibly closer, cupping your cheek with his free hand to look at your queasy expression.
“I’m never, ever, doing that again,” you groaned and the brothers laughed, Thor’s deep chuckle melted into Loki’s softer, more lilting laugh and you couldn’t help but start giggling too, the absurdity of travelling with two gods, on a rainbow bridge, magiced out of thin air was too much and you burst into peals of laughter.
Your laughter echoed back and you finally looked up at the wondrous place Thor had brought you to. The outside of the palatial building was clad entirely in polished gold which shone impossibly in every direction without shadow. Looking up the entire sky seemed to be made of sun, even the idyllic clouds that passed glowed from within. Turrets and spires decorated the outside and a series of walkways, bridges and staircases led the way from various pools, sunken gardens and lush looking courtyards. Everywhere you looked the palace dripped with opulence, every direction spun out into excesses of marble decked luxury.
“Wow.” You stared up, spinning slowly as Loki’s hands kept you steady around your waist, and attempted to take in the magnificence that surrounded you.
“Wow indeed.” Thor patted your shoulder, “this is the Golden Palace, home of the Gods themselves.”
“Which gods?” You asked, not daring to take your eyes from your surroundings. You knew that Thor and Loki had once lived in Asgard, as had you for a short time, though your memories gave you only glimpses of that time.
“All of the gods, I suppose, should they wish it, they come here to meet, socialise, and relax. So many gods are no longer worshipped and, until they fade from memory, they come here.”
At that you stopped moving and Loki, ever careful of you, took your hand again.
“What do you mean, until they fade from memory?”
“Well, ásynja, gods are only as good as their worshippers. So if a god is no longer worshipped they become weak, they begin to age. Some slip into deep sleeps and some become mortal and die.” Loki said, quietly.
To speak of such a death was not polite within earshot of other deities, it was a fear that gripped them all, and the brothers kept their voices unusually quiet as they explained.
You were stunned, it hadn’t occurred to you that gods could truly die. You’d seen Thor injured once before and you supposed should the injury be extreme enough perhaps they would die. But to fade into obscurity first. To be forgotten. That seemed a terrible way to go.
It is, darling, there is no entrance to Valhalla for those who become dust
Loki cupped your cheek, “my sweet darling, please don’t be upset. There are many ways for gods to be worshipped. Take your museums and galleries. When you stand before a Botecelli and gaze upon Venus, your reverence keeps her strong.”
“So art, history, documentaries…”
“Have you not noticed, we gods are vain creatures,” Loki smiled, preening comically and Thor laughed too, flexing his muscles.
It made your heart clench. How could the Avengers treat him as such a threat, when he was so funny and kind and witty. Mischievous? Yes. But evil? Never.
“That does help, Loki. Thank you.” You stood on your toes and kissed him gently while Thor made a show of looking disgusted behind you. “But, wait, if any gods can come here, why didn’t you come here after Ragnarok?”
“Ah - yes, well, there was the suggestion of that.” Thor looked at his brother, “I had already abdicated but, I like Midgard and I would have had to leave my people behind. I would not enjoy myself without them.”
Loki nodded in agreement, “I know what the Midgardian’s think of me, darling, but I can assure you my sentiments were very much the same. Though I am no longer in line to the throne -”
“You never were,” Thor muttered and Loki shot him a glare.
“- as I was saying, the throne matters not. What I truly care about is Asgard, whether that is a place or a people, I wished to remain and rebuild alongside my brother and the King.”
It wasn’t a surprise to you that Loki was sentimental, but it made your heart squeeze to hear him talk about his responsibilities and loyalties. This was the man, you loved and you desperately wanted to tell him. To share with him how deep your feelings ran, how clearly you saw his heart. But there were so many unanswered questions and Loki would never be just a man, he was a god, tied to his people and though he had expressed his loyalty, you feared he would not be able to give you his heart in the same way.
Instead of words you chose kisses to show your affection, reaching up and winding your fingers into the neatly brushed curls at the nape of his neck and crushing kisses to his lips.
Thor coughed loudly.
“When you two have finished, I did suggest our visit for a reason. Not just so you could have a romantic date.”
Loki pulled away and for a split second you chased his lips, not ready to let him go. He smiled down at you, that luxurious, lust filled smirk that told you this conversation, and the kiss, were not over.
“Now that we’re discussing this, I don’t think this attire is suitable.” Thor waved at hand at you both, still dressed casually from your morning at Loki’s cabin. Even Thor’s own clothes were too casual for the setting, his large sweatshirt and jeans not nearly as intimidating as his battle armour.
With a roll of his eyes Loki’s sedir flashed and he was once more in his Asgardian leathers, less formal that the fighting armour he’d worn at the end of the mission, this had a distinctly blue hue to the chest, with his signature black leather trousers and boots. His hair, still somewhat messy, was swept back by his long fingers as he carded them through his curls. He hadn’t looked away for a second, still pining you with that look. He gave you a wink and you snapped your mouth shut.
“What about me?” You didn’t mean for it to sound so petulant, but it was hardly fair that they always knew exactly how to present themselves. All of these formalities were so new to you.
“I’m sure you’re more than capable of conjuring your own clothes, darling.” Loki purred.
“I am - but what do you wear at the Palace of the Gods?” You chewed your thumb, looking around at all the other gods as they passed. Many wore robes, some tunics and dresses, there were even a few that were mostly naked. “I only have my armour or my Earth clothes?”
“Think of your armour, the colours and textures, the images, and then imagine something you’d feel comfortable in.” Loki suggested.
“A dress, or something. Jane always liked to wear Earth Jeans.” Thor suggested with a smile, despite being glad almost exclusively in various kinds of polished metal.
“She cannot wear Earth Jeans, Thor, she is a Goddess, she must look like one.” Loki protested, rounding on his brother.
“Are you saying Jane is not a Goddess?”
“Yes, I am - you love her and I approve of her, but she is not -”
Their squabbling faded into a dull roar as you tried to concentrate, thinking about the rich blue colour of your armour, the soft velvet and smooth silver, and the weight of a dress settled around your shoulders and hips. It was surprisingly traditional, considering how much you’d hated the flouncy skirts you’d been put in as a child, but the low front and draped back felt more womanly and regal than any stuffy corset you’d been shoved into, the skirt was wide, but moved around you like water and you had the sensation of blossoming, like a midnight flower, under the gaze of your beloved Loki.
“ásynja, it’s perfect.” He held your gaze as he stepped forwards, offering his arm to you
Even Thor appeared starstruck, grinning happily and giving you a thumbs up. “Perfect, now we’re ready.”
Tumblr media
Thor and Loki appeared stately as they marched through the gilded corridors of the Golden Palace and as you kept pace next to them you were transported to memories of your shared youth, following them around at first, until you had your bearings, and then racing with them between lessons, training, meals and meetings.
Faster and faster you ran, dodging guards and swinging around the pillars at the end of the corridor, your dress trailing behind you like a spring breeze. The soft linen snapped like a whip when you turned again, hiding yourself on the tall base of a column, and waited for your prey.
Thor appeared at one end of the corridor first, closely followed by Loki. You grinned, Thor you could catch but Loki? You didn’t trust the boy before you, green tunic fluttering around his hips. He’d tricked you far too many times for that.
You waited for him to pass Thor, a subtle nod to his brother, before you made your move.
With a yell you jumped out onto Thor’s back, your arms around his neck and your wooden dagger pressed to his throat. “I caught you!” You declared and Thor’s bellowing laugh echoed around the corridor.
In front of you both Loki whirled back and you threw the training dagger, only for it to pass through the illusion and fall to the ground.
“Not so fast, Trouble.” Thor laughed, “we may have you beaten yet.” You could almost see his grin.
Loki was swift and clever, you could feel the air move behind you as he made ready to strike and then you let Thor go, falling to the ground and rolling between Loki’s legs in one smooth movement. Smaller than both the Asgardian Prince’s your best bet was to always go very high, or very low.
Jumping to your feet you pulled Loki’s dagger from his boot and poked it into his side.
Thor’s laugh continued to boom but Loki lifted his hands in surrender. “You win again, ásynja, as always.”
He turned, smiling serenely, and you flipped the dagger, catching it deftly in your palm without drawing blood.
“As always, boys.” You smiled, fixing your skirts serenely and making to walk off, “want to play again?” And you broke into a run…
“Are you alright, my darling?” Loki asked, his eyes narrowed, “you look distracted.”
“Just remembering,” you smiled, and he kissed your temple softly, always worried by that glassy look in your eyes but pleased that the memories were coming back slowly.
Together the three of you walked through endless miles of gold corridors, halls with vast vaulted ceilings branched out from the central artery, below you were oasis after oasis of fountains and ponds, pools where gods swam and patios where they ate and laughed together.
The mere thought of all of these deities being real was making your head spin, let alone that you might actually belong here among them.
You belong wherever you chose to be
Loki’s mind spoke to yours, a soothing balm against your anxiety.
“Here we are,” Thor declared, outside two staggering doors of solid gold. “If we can’t find answers here, then I am all out of ideas.”
The doors swung open and flooded the corridor with ethereal light, almost as bright as Lugh’s had been when he’d appeared before you.
Shielding your eyes you took in the full height of the atrium. Decked out in polished gold and pure white there were rows and rows of seating in various sizes, as if for a giant theatre. Filling the seats were more kinds of people than you’d ever seen in your life, some looked like Loki and Thor, as if human but…more. Some were so small they were placed on towers of cushions and plinths rather than lounging on thrones. Then there were the giants, hanging over the edges of the balconies and peering in through the vast windows.
In the centre, floating on their own balcony, was a man of about average height, but his muscular body looked like it was brushed with gold to match his surroundings. His curled hair sat perfectly on his shoulders, one bare and one draped in pure white silk, a gold chest plate and gold leather pleats decorated the otherwise simple tunic and he was accompanied by a gaggle of similarly dressed women, all giggling and looking down at you.
Stunned, you squeezed Loki’s hand tighter in your now sweating palm, and tipped your chin up to meet the man’s gaze, wishing Thor had prepared you better.
“Welcome to the Golden Palace,” the man’s voice boomed around the room and all the other attendees went silent.
Everything will be okay, my darling Loki assured silently, but you were still rooted to the spot, terrified.
Looking again at the floating platform it became obvious who was staring back. Zeus waved the women at his side away and leant further over the balcony, his eyes roving over you again without shame.
“So this is who has caused such-” he waved his hand, “disruption and madness in our ranks.”
“We have come to seek answers, also, Mighty Zeus.” Thor answered for you, stepping further into the light from the towering windows. “We have received information regarding a prophe-”
“That is not to be spoken of here!” Zeus roared and Thor fell silent, snapping his jaw shut. “Lugh was sent to deal with you, what happened?”
What does he mean deal with me?
I don’t know, my darling, stay close
“Why did you defy him!?” Zeus demanded, his eyes boring into you, his entire court turned to you as well, the weight of their attention was crushing and your voice stuck in your throat.
“I didn’t - sorry - I -”
“We were not aware, Zeus, that anything was required of us. There was an incident with a kidnapping and it has made us wary of others.” Loki said and you mentally kicked yourself for your nerves.
“Well you are here now.” Zeus sighed and looked around, “where is Lugh?”
There was a commotion towards the side of the room and a familiar man strode forwards, he looked up towards Zeus and inclined his head politely before turning to look at you. Not Thor or Loki, who closed ranks around you, but straight towards you. Like an arrow he closed in until he could peer over Loki’s shoulder at you, so close you could see the fine detail of his armour.
“I did not wish for you to be here, child.” He hissed, turning his chin and addressing Loki, “why did you bring her?”
“Because we required answers from that irritating riddle of my mother’s” Loki bit back, his eyes shining with anger. “If you had explained instead of -”
“No whispers in my court!” Zeus bellowed and you all faced him again.
“Now we shall resolve this matter.” Zeus declared.
“Ah Zeus you know this is merely a squabble,” Lugh laughed, stepping forwards and, imperceptibly, to the side, placing himself between you and the head of the Greek pantheon.
Zeus nodded to Lugh in greeting, “it is good to see you back among our ranks, though we had hoped that this issue could have been resolved already.”
Loki tugged you backwards and Thor closed in around you.
What’s happening?
I cannot fathom, darling, just stay still, stay quiet.
Around you the sound of many people talking rose in a cacophony of sound, the once placid gods now talking heatedly between themselves.
“I can not take this arguing anymore. Can the disgruntled parties please step forwards?” Zeus waved one hand and placed his head in the other dramatically, as if he was physically tired from the entire argument despite his continued wide legged stance and the abundance of seating around him.
The first god stepped forwards, tall and broad with huge muscles, his long beard and the storm that followed him reminded you of Thor, but instead of a hammer, this God carried a mace and an axe.
He stopped before Zeus and pointed at you, barely looking at you before staring Zeus down. “She belongs to us, let her leave with me now and there will be no bloodshed.” You’d imagined that in a land of gods there would be many languages, but thankfully you were able to understand all that was said.
Lugh and Thor closed in tighter around you as Loki tugged you closer into his side. The storm that had arrived with this god made the air colder and your skin felt damp, as if you’d just stepped inside after being caught in the rain.
I won’t let them take you, darling
“Baal, we have discussed the need for evidence, what have you to provide -”
Before Zeus could finish, a second god stepped forwards. You had thought the first was large, but the second was easily eight feet tall, lean and slender with skin so lustrous it looked like it was made of polished bronze. Although his body was that of a man, even if it was a towering man, his head was that of a dog, black fur blurred down his neck and a long snout ended in a surprisingly soft muzzle.
Despite the attention of the room shifting, Baal continued to raise his voice, the clouds above him breaking into rain that pattered on the marble and formed splashing pools below his feet. “These powers are ours, Zeus and you know this to be true.”
Loki he squeezed your hand and turned to you slightly, the damp curls of his hair sticking to his forehead.
Everything here is translated or, it is now after the last argument erupted
Loki’s hand was a reassuring presence in your own and you stepped closer into his warmth as the God continued, the velvet of your dress feeling heavy in the misty rain.
His voice was deep, but steady, as he spoke not to Zeus and his retinue, but directly to you. The taught tension in his shoulders and the clenching of his hands told you, and the three men still surrounding you, that he was in no mood for an argument.
“Brigid visited me on her journeys and I claim you as my offspring, I have seen your many powers and I wish to welcome you to the Ennead as my daughter.”
You coughed, choking on your own breath in surprise. Next to you, Loki stiffened and you felt that piercing gaze of his turn to you, on your other side Thor stood in shock . But Lugh scoffed.
“You have never been able to prove anything, either of you. What evidence do you have for your claim now?” Lugh stared up at Anubis’ dark eyes first, and then Baal’s, standing his ground between you and the other gods. They had had this conversation before, that much was clear and as before Lugh refused to move an inch.
Before Anubis could answer a large serpent, covered in delicate, brightly coloured feathers, slithered from the seating and coiled itself around the gathered gods.As his tail came to rest on the polished marble he transformed into a man, feathers still decorating his turquoise and green clothing.
“Step aside, Anubis, you and I both know that this girl is capable of great things, death is not one of them.” His eyes softened as he turned to look at you, “we have spoken of the prophecy, we know that she would need both a mother and a father capable of -”
“And what of the other half of the prophecy?” Another man stepped forwards, though he seemed to be of average height he carried with him a huge cutlas and, as the wind whipped up around him, his gold eye glinted. “Surely there are many who can claim such gifts.”
Zeus raised his hand and a bolt of lightning flashed above his head.
“We agreed we would not discuss the prophecy in front of the girl,” he commanded.
“Only because you did not want us to take responsibility for her actions!” A voice chimed from high in the stadium.
“Aye, what if she needs controlling!” Another voice agreed, “surely you are to blame here, Zeus, you are the leader among us and a shape shifter as the girl is, you should take over controlling her!”
“Controlling? No one is going to -” you raised your voice, trying to make a stand in your defence, but Loki had tangled his magic around you, holding you back, though it appeared all he was doing was clasping your hand. You fought against him, determined to speak your mind. But even Thor, who revelled in your troublemaking, shook his head.
You would fry him for this, singe his hair and torch his precious leathers. Melt his daggers and - the coil around you tightened and it suddenly felt like an embrace, and not a leash, guarding you against the onslaught of opinion. The fire of your anger flickered, but didn’t go out.
“I?” Zeus looked genuinely upset at the prospect, which, despite your relief, felt a lot like an insult. “I have not sired the child, look at her, so full of destruction. Perhaps she really is yours Owuo, or, perhaps,” he turned to the voice in the crowd, “she is yours, Proteus, after all, she is a changeable thing.”
“Thing?!”
Your magic was roiling, perhaps you really were meant for destruction, desperate for a way to release the anger building slowly inside.
“Hush, darling,” Loki cooed, squeezing your hand.
“Don’t you tell me to hush, you’re as bad as them, what is this? A cattle market? I can’t tell whether I’m wanted or not!”
Still towering above you, Anubis looked down, placing a large hand across your back, he spoke softly and the words flowed through you.
“Of course you are wanted, child, but, you see, we have been arguing for many eons over you. Where there is awe, there is also fear.
Fear, they were frightened about you and suddenly you were frightened too. What if the prophecy was true, and you were destined to be a person you couldn’t control.
In the centre of the theatre the gods continued to argue, their voices becoming blurred as more and more descended from the steps. Some shouting that you should be made to go with them, back to their homes and worlds to rule in their pantheons, some arguing that you needed taking in hand, containing as you had been. But the word that kept appearing, that you couldn’t shake, was prophecy.
Frigga’s words were more than just a dream then, they had been heard across the pantheons, across time, and these gods were in disarray because of it. Even those who wished to claim you only sought control of the terrible destruction the prophecy had claimed. It crossed your mind that maybe you should have gone with Lugh and allowed him to hide you. He had come to your aid once more and he had never hurt you, even when he’d sent the boy to fetch you he’d been gentle, that was his undoing.
“If there is one more word about the prophecy then we will have Lugh remove her memories and send her back to be contained on Gaia with him until this can be resolved” Zeus boomed.
Your blood felt cold.
The air rushed from your body in a single huff.
Your body numb.
Lugh turned away from the commotion to look at you, the light around him dimming to a faint glow.
“Estrid -”
“Loki I want to go home,” you tugged him backwards, away from the man approaching you.
“Please, you must understand, I did what I thought to be right to protect you.” Lugh took a step closer, but Thor moved in front of him, blocking his path with a crackle of blue lightning.
“Loki!” You turned to him, tears streaming down your face.
“I only meant to protect you.” Lugh looked stricken, but Thor held him back. “See how they fight over you? See how they want to use you? I only ever wanted you to be free. Please, allow me to explain.” He pleaded.
“You took everything from me!” Your scream echoed, bouncing back into the flames that exploded from your body. Loki moved back and you swore he looked almost blue for a moment as he threw up a wall of protective sedir around himself and Thor. On the outside, Lugh continued to approach, his light wrapping around him.
“Please,” he begged, “I understand you do not wish to talk to me. Allow me to write you a letter? Or visit you somewhere when you are calm -”
“I’m very calm. I am very calm right now.” You snarled, your armour rippling over your body, your spear suddenly clenched between your fingers. “I never want to see you again, don’t ever try to talk to me again. You are a jailor, a kidnapper, get away from me.”
He didn’t have to hurt you, because he had so much more control than that, he had taken every thought and memory of Loki from you, your time on Asgard, your mother.
“Princes, please,” he turned to Loki and Thor, “your mother agreed, she helped, it was for the best that you forgot.”
You moved backwards again, dropping Loki’s hand as your spear sparked on the marble. So he’d hurt Loki too, there was no return from this, no way to atone when he’d hurt you both.
You were  running for the edge of the stage before you could dwell on it anymore, towards what you hoped would be an exit, behind you your fire followed you like the sweep of a dress, melting the gold it touched into soft pools and charring the wooden legs of the pews that lined the centre of the stage.
You didn’t look back.

With one last look at the burgeoning fight brewing in the centre of the Golden Palace, Loki turned, his cape flowing behind him as he sprinted after you, catching you around the waist and vanishing in a flash of green and gold magic.

Summon Not For Fun Ch1 Heed The Warnings
Be wary for meddling in the affairs of the supernatural, for that is when Black magic and monsters come out to snatch away the non-believers.
(Basically Demon Killer and Kid x Reader au purely based off some fanart of the two I found on Pinterest I'll be including the art/links to the art that inspired the fic. No images are mine. There's going to be three chapters. The first one will have two different endings one for each character.
Tagging: @the-ginger-draws
If you to be added to the taglist lemme know
warning for demon summoning if that makes you uncomfortable. I just made up some stuff for this based off video games where that happened hope that's ok.)
Tumblr media
"Let's summon a demon!"
A thunderstorm rolled across the sky that night. The sun was just setting over the horizon with the last few rays of daylight disappearing but it was hard to tell when the dark storm clouds took over the sky and claimed them as their own. Thunder shaking the lanes of the windows and lightning sounded off like an angry whip from whatever deity was angrily stomping around the clouded skies, lighting up the sky and city below for nothing but a brief second.
It would've been absolutely dark if you hadn't lit up a few candles inside the comfy room and placed them on the table to light up the room. The warm light comforting against the scary night sky that just appeared as the last few daylights were chased away. The candlelight was pretty but you might be asking yourself one question. Why are you using candles to light up the room when you can just turn on the light switch on the wall or use a flashlight like a normal person?
Well because it wasn't your idea. It was your friend's.
If it were up to you, your bedroom light would've been on in an instant and you four wouldn't be sitting here in the dark. But as another thunder clap shook the sky outside, her face had scrunched up into a mischievous grin wide enough to let the other three ladies around her know that she had come up with a devious idea. It started when of your friends said that they were bored during the usual sleep over activities and so you suggested watching a scary movie instead!
"How about The Death Book?"
"What's it about?"
"It's about this girl who finds this blank diary and everything she writes in it becomes true! It turns out the diary is possessed by a demon who becomes obsessed with her and grants her wishes with horrible twists!"
That's when your most devious friend gotten that look before hijacking the convo. "I have a better idea! Y/n, you have any candles?"
"Only scented candles. Why?"
"That'll work! Go get them all and we'll do something that's actually thrilling!"
You had no idea what she was talking about but decided to humor her and go get them and matches she asked for. You had a few scented candles collecting up space in your closet, most were Christmas gifts you were just planning on regifting that year anyways since you never really used them. But you were curious about what your friend was up too so you grabbed up all the bars, the different scents making your nose snort, and brought them out to everyone watching you take them out of your closet and plopping them down on your bed. Your friend then proceeded to grab a glass jar containing a 'holiday sugar cookie' scented white candle, lit it, and then got up to turn off the lights and ask you to close the curtains.
Oh! She wanted to do the classic ghost story telling in the dark game! Nope. As soon as you turned around and you along with your other two friends looked at her, the statement left her mouth.
"Let's summon a demon!"
The three of you stared at her and her smile lit up by the scented candle, a nice scent of sugar cookies in the air. The only sounds being the thunder still rumbling outside. Eventually one of you broke the weird silence.
"You mean like...Use a ouija board? That's something everyone does at sleepovers-"
"No! I meant actually summon a demon!," she corrected excitedly clenching a fist!
"Uh..Have you lost your dam mind?"
"Oh come on! We all know that ghosts and stuff don't exist anyways!" She waved a hand dismissively. "We've tried using a ouija board since we were ten but nothing ever happened so why not try taking it up a notch!"
"Because it sounds like a waste of time." You deadpanned raising a brow. "Why go through all the effort to do something when we already KNOW that it's just stupid Hollywood stuff?"
"For the thrill of it!" You three looked at each other. Two of you having bored looks while the third looked worried. "Come on! Just this once! And if nothing happens I'll pay for two pizzas from that pizza place we all like!"
"...Throw in those chicken tenders and a couple sodas and you have a deal," your bored friend bluntly stated.
"DEAL!"
"I don't know.." Your friend that looked worried frowned. "This is how a bunch of horror stories start. What if something really happens?"
"PSH. It won't. If nothing happened when we used a ouija board then we got nothing to worry about!"
"And you just magically happen to know how to summon a demon how?"
"Not just a demon!" Her hand pointed up as she grinned. "A Yokai!"
"A yo-..What?"
"A Yokai! Or oni if you prefer to call it that instead! It's a Japanese spirit!"
"We know what that is! And you happen to know that how?"
"During my culture studies at school I was studying the local folklore and stumbled onto an old legend of the area! They say that a night monster used to roam the lands and strike down people every full moon until a shrine was put up for him. It's still there now! I visited it during a school trip!" She explained excitedly. "I did an interview with the caretaker for my extra credit report and it turns out his family's descendants of the shrine maidens that used to be there!"
"That's good and all but that still doesn't answer my question."
Your friend groaned loudly and slumped her shoulders with an eye roll. "He said the shrine maidens used to have a symbiotic relationship with the specific oni. They'd perform a ritual once a year and leave him offerings to keep him and his 'army' from running rampant."
"And he told you how to summon this thing?"
"Yeah because he didn't believe in it. I don't either since ghosts and goblins only exist in books and movies. But what's the harm? If nothing happens I'm buying everyone food and we can have a good laugh if we do happen to summon something we might get a wish granted! Whaddya say?"
There was more silence from you three until your bored friend sighed and rolled her eyes from where she sat. "Fine I guess. Sounds like a win win situation. And I wouldn't mind getting an A on my next math exam."
You sighed. "Alright. Let's just get this over with."
"That's the spirit! But first thing's first!.. Does anyone know if it's a new or full moon tonight?"
Your nervous friend, who still looked nervous, had to pull out her phone and look it up online. The glow of the screen making her face light up in the dark as the thunder still rang out and the first few raindrops began hitting the roof of your home.
"Full moon b-b-but does it count if the storm is blocking out the sky?"
"He only told me it has to be a full of new moon, not that you had to see the moon. We're also gonna need right white candles to represent the right moon phases, something red to draw the symbols in, and an offering from each of us that has some kind of connection to our wishes!" Her eyes lit up in excitement. "Let's try it out!"
If it got you free food and your rowdiest friend to be quiet, then you weren't going to complain. So you four got to work. A friend found an extra red lipstick when she dug out her bag and like you said before, you had a bunch of scented candles you weren't using....but that begs the question.
"Does scented candles even count?" You gazed down at two white scented candles with the scents labeled 'fresh morning snow' and 'shortbread blast'.
"He just said that the candles had to be white, not that they couldn't be scented."
"Yeah. But there's another problem. I only have seven white candles. .." Your eyes looked around the mini candle collection. The others were different colors like the red one that smelt like cinnamon and the purplish-black one labeled 'midnight lilacs'. Eventually you found a glimmer of white in the limited darkness with only your phone to see, and pulled out a candle that was half white half brown labeled 'chocolate and vanilla delight'. "I got a brown and white one. Does that count?"
"We're gonna have to make due with it. Well just put the white half facing the center and maybe that'll help."
Well if that's all you had then you four really were going to have to make due with what you had on hand. One friend helped you cleared up space in your room at least a yard and a half clear, while your devious friend drew red lipstick marks onto your floor and the fourth began placing the candles in a circle around her lighting them up as she went until both stepped away and you four were left looking down at the circle of eight candles and three symbols in the center of them. Lightning clashed outside behind the curtains barely lighting up the room but you managed to make out three words written in Japanese kanji in red lipstick.
You didn't know what that meant but it was ominous in your eyes. The room smelt far too heavy with the pretty scents of sugar cookies, vanilla, daisies, and a few other scents. It was overwhelming and one of you snorted from it all.
"Dam. It smells like someone spilt the entire isle of Fabreath from Wallace-Market in here." She waved a hand before pinching her nose and turning to her. "So what now?"
"Now we put down an offering related to what we want to wish for? Like if you wanted to wish for a million dollars you put down like some rare collector coins or something! Just look around and see what you got!"
While the others looked through their bags, you mindlessly searched around the room for something meaningless you could just throw meaninglessly into the circle. Your eyes gazed over at your jewelry box...and you shrugged. Why not? You had a pair of thick hooped silver earrings your uncle gave you for your birthday last year. They were even real silver, just cheap copper ones painted to look silver. You never wore them anyways so they'd be perfect for this. You opened up the lid narrowing your eyes into a squint. Despite the light of your phone, it was hard to see in the dark. Your hand moved things around inside the box. Old necklaces and things jingling until you saw them. Ah! There they were! Right next to your great grandparents' wedding rings. Now THOSE were actually worth a lot. Real gold and studded with real diamonds. You inherited them box along with their old jewelry box but that didn't matter right now. You wanted the useless tacky earrings next to them. Even now most of the shiny silver paint had peeled off revealing the cheap copper hoops underneath.
"C'mon Y/n! Hurry up! I want that pizza as soon as possible!"
You looked around mindlessly just reaching in and grabbing two round things into your hand. "Coming!"
"What did you grab?" Her brow rose as you just rolled your eyes.
"Just some old jewelry. What about you?"
She held up an ink stone. Probably got it from her school bag. "I was gonna use it for an art project but since I want an A for my exam and I have to write on the test, it was a good enough match."
"Sounds like a good start."
Your other two friends pulled out a book on rare poetry and a small bag of store bought mochi candy. ...Strange offering but you guessed it was the only thing that they could find. Your friend instructed you all placed the offerings on the strange words in Japanese and stepped back without a second thought to look at them....And you four stood there in your pajamas with nothing but the candles to light up the darkness and the rain still pounding at your rooftop.
Silence other than the storm rang out and you four looked around the room exchanging looks sometimes.
".....Is that it?"
"I told you it was a waste of time! Let's just get some food now. I'm starving!"
"Wait! I forgot about the last important step!" She held up her hands as your mutual grumpy and hungry friend turned to go flip on the light switch. "I need to chant the incantation and then we have to say what we want!"
Her arms folded. "Well get on with it! I'm hungry and this is really not fun!"
"Alright, alright! Let me try to remember what the guy told me!"
She stood there staring at the mess of lit candles and lipstick smeared kanji scrunching her brows in deep thought. You and your grumpy friend exchanged mirrored deadpanned looks before she cleared her throat and held her arms out.
"Full moon on the rise. New moon hides from eyes. Abyss of darkness conquering the skies! We summon, summon him from the ground. To our circle lit and round. Oh, Come from slumber, to seek out what we offer! Great one of Moon bound light, we ask for you to once more walk the night!"
Her voice shouted out loud enough that you were sure you'd be getting a complaint from the neighbors tomorrow morning. As she finished her chant, a lightning bolt struck out temporarily lighting up the sky outside as the rain poured out...As you all waited looking around more.
"Would you look at that? Nothing happened again. NOW can we get food?"
"Wait! We didn't say what we wanted yet!," she protested to her, "The wish is a part of the ritual so let's complete it ok?!" Your friend groaned but she quickly excitedly exclaimed. "I wish my mom would finally give me the secrets to famous udon recipe so I can start selling it myself!"
"Um..." You nervous friend cautiously and worriedly looked around the dark room. "C-Can I m-meet my favorite author please? O-Only if that's ok! I'm fine if nothing happens really!"
"Oh what the hell. I want an A on my next exam."
...All three looked at you expectantly. "What?"
"Say something, Y/n."
"Like what?"
"I don't know. What did you put down?"
You shrugged. "Some cheap jewelry I don't want honestly."
"OOOH. Wish for something good then! Oh! Oh! I see you always sitting by yourself! Ask him to get you a boyfriend?," you friend teased making you laugh.
"Really? We summon a Yokai just for me to ask him for a boyfriend? If he was real, he'd probably think I was crazy."
"Well it doesn't have to be a boyfriend. You can ask for a sign of who you're meant to be with." That devious smile returned again. "Y'know that caretaker guy told me a lot of maidens would pay the shrine maidens to do rituals and summon the onis as offered brides in exchange for good fortune for their villages. Why don't you ask him to put a ring on it? You'd be the first person to be get a real life monster boyfriend. All the monster lovers on the Internet would be so jealous."
"Plus you're beautiful," your grumpy friend added also with a teasing grin. "You made home coming and prom queen in highschool!"
You laughed again. "Looks aren't everything." You could barely contain the giggles. You then rolled your eyes sarcastically. "But sure." Your hands clasped together and pressed against your chest as you spoke. "Oh great Oni please hear my pleas for your heart!" Even your nervous friend giggled along now as you dramatically fell to your knees. "Bind our blood in ceremony and let me share your name." A hand outstretched to no one as you fake acted out processing your love to an invisible imaginary person. "Under the stars of the heavens, I solemnly swear, that this hand will always be kind and never cruel. That my voice will only speak truth. That this life is now forever yours." The outstretched hand pretended to take the imaginary person's hand. "Now as yours is mine."
A loud snort went off as one of your friends fell back on your bed where she sat giggling out the cheesy lines you were making up on the fly.
"Bind our souls to infinity and I will promise you love and devotion through sickness and health and beyond the realms of death." You continued to speak remembering some lines from a rom com chick flick you saw last night. "I will love you in all your forms now and forever. Through several lifetimes and back." Your voice was low and smooth now speaking it like you meant it with pride. "From now to infinity. Unyielding. Untainted. Undeniable. With this voice I promise you my love and heart. With this offering, I ask you to be mine!" You then bowed your forehead to the floor as everyone continued to giggle loudly.
You all continued to laugh and laugh and laugh as you finally broke into laughs again too and sat back up-
And then all the candles went out at the same time.
Pitch black immediately enveloped the room and at once all laughs ceased. Nothing but silence rang out other than the rain and thunder and occasional strike of lightning. You four stayed silent as you all say there in the dark before your friend became grumpy again.
"Ok. Haha. Very funny, Y/n. Now we can't see shit!"
"That..w-wasnt me," you stuttered out staring at the floor in front of you silently and wide eyed.
"Sure it wasn't. You're literally kneeling in front of them!"
"I don't have the ability to blow out right giant candles at once! Besides some of them were out of my reached! I'd have to crawl over! It wasn't me!"
"Well it's not me! I'm standing up!"
"It wasn't me!" "I'm sitting all the way over here on the bed."
Silence fell Once Again as you all sat there
"....It must've just been a draft! There's no such thing as ghosts and demons! Get the light! I'm tired of this game now!"
Someone was heard stumbling and shuffling around in the dark before you heard hands patting along the wall and then a serious of clicks as someone tried turning on the lights. "It won't turn on!"
"No one panic!" Someone finally turned on the flashlight on their phone and lit up the room. "The storm just cut out the power supply. Let's just get some food and call it a night!"
"Wait! The offerings!"
The light shines towards the middle of the circle. One bag of mochi candy, an ink stone, and a book still laid there. Where was your earrings? You pushed the book aside and froze as you realized that it wasn't a cheap pair of earrings that greeted you..but one beautiful gold ring.
"My great grandmother's ring!" You quickly snatched it up safely into your hands in horror. "I-I must've grabbed them by mistake!" Wait. You remembered feeling two hoops in your hands. "My great grandfather's ring!" Quickly you pushed aside everything else and was horrified to discover that it was gone. "IT'S MISSING!!"
"Calm down. It must've rolled away or someone accidentally kicked it in the dark. It's still around here."
"Yeah. And so is everything else. I CALLED IT! I TOLD you it wasn't gonna work! Now order the food!"
"B-But my ring!"
"It's too dark to look with the power out. Let's just wait until it's day time and then we'll look around. Ok?"
"I-...*sigh* Alright."
"GREAT! Now let's eat. And don't forget the chicken and drinks!"
Little did all of you know that the curtains were moved back on their own. Glowing eyes staring at your beautiful face and a glittering gold band wrapped around his ring finger.

He’d wondered if he’d actually ever get to see her again after this. He didn’t believe in deities, but she, to him, was as close to a god-sent as there was.
Geralt cursed himself with his wandering mind, of course, he’d see her. He always kept his word. Besides, he wanted to thank her personally. With his voice and his words.
Before leaving, she gave him her necklace, saying, “There. Now you have a reason to come back.” After clasping it around his neck and kissing the top of his head.
As if I’d need a reason.
He left at night, wanting to avoid the village people. His wounds were healed, making it easier to run. It seemed that spring was upon the Continent. There were fewer clouds, snow, less of a bite to the air…
His journey brought him back to where he found himself. Clothes were picked apart and his swords were gone. He was disappointed, but not surprised in the slightest. Sniffing the ground, Geralt searched for something, anything, to clue him in.
A piece of parchment stuck through the snow, yellow and ink smeared. Nothing on it was legible anymore, and the small amount of writing that was intact didn’t make any sense-- not just because it was in Elder.
But, it was more help than it seemed. He smelled it before tracking the scent it left.
Sandalwood, Mandrake, Horse, Griffin.
His journey brought him to a cave, Elder script lining the rocky walls as far as he could see. As he stepped in, the imminent feeling of being watched followed him, almost as if the walls of the grotto had eyes, tracking his every move.
His ears laid back warily, making sure to be cautious as he continued forward. He was soon met with an overwhelming scent of death. The partial smell of horse had now been overtaken by the iron-tinged odor of blood, and not long after, he found the dead body.
This, however, wasn’t what he was expecting.
A horse sat before an altar of some kind, its blood now dried, no longer puddling around its body. The candles, still lit, indicating the ritual was still being enacted upon, illuminated his surroundings partially. On a large stone, which held the candles, held a book.
Hm.
Geralt stepped over the corpse towards the rock and jumped up, grabbing the book with his teeth. Almost immediately, his ears rang by a high pitched, ungodly screech. He dropped the book and turned fast. A Foglet angrily emerged from the fog, hissing, claws out.
Shit.
Quickly, Geralt dodged the Necrophage. With no weapons and no way to communicate his signs, he felt at a loss for hope. The Foglet disappeared before reappearing in front of him, slashing at him, knocking him back feet away.
It was as if the room had completely silenced when a gasp was heard through the cave. Both the monster and wolf looked in the direction of the noise.
Son of a bitch.
There she stood, scared out of her fucking mind. (Y/N). The Foglet made its way to (Y/N) as Geralt struggled to get up. After finding his feet he bolted as fast as his legs could carry him, running in between the two. He growled, jaws snapping at the Foglet who attempted to strike at him. He dodged it, and as the creature recoiled, Geralt snapped his jaws around the wrist of the monster. It screeched again, trying to scratch at Geralt’s body. When Geralt let go the Foglet disappeared. He backed himself up against (Y/N)’s body, snarling, following the foggy trail of the monster.
It appeared again, and with Geralt more prepared and now worrying over someone that wasn’t him, he attacked quickly, latching on the Foglet’s throat with a bone-crushing bite. It laid limp before him, body fallen to the ground. The wolf had a moment to breathe before he turned quickly, growling and glaring at the young woman.
“I-I’m sorry, I didn’t want-” She started, interrupted by a blinding, light blue light escaping from the alter, traveling through the air and attaching to Geralt’s throat. Stupidly, Geralt attempted at biting the light, which turned unsuccessfully. And as soon as it came, it dissipated.
What the fuck was that?
“Oh my gods Geralt, you can talk!”
The wolf looked at (Y/N), amber eyes wide, ears laid back.
Or, you can hear me.
“I can!” She says excitedly.
Good, then I can yell at you. What the fuck made you think following me, after I specifically said not to, was a good idea? You could’ve gotten hurt, killed even. He growls.
(Y/N) gives him a guilty look, “I’m sorry. It was stupid, I know, I just-”
How long have you been following me? He interrupts.
She pauses, “Shortly after you left, I did too.”
He can’t help but think how she looks like a child who’s gotten into the cookies.
Geralt sighs in his wolfish fashion, idiot.
“I know, but… it’s good to hear your voice… your’s, I mean, not, not Dima’s.” she says quietly, almost embarrassed. Geralt looks up at her before walking forward, leaning his head into her hand.
We’ll talk about this later when we’re not in a magical cave with Foglets interrupting.
(Y/N) nods, letting her fingers run behind his ear before walking towards the book Geralt dropped, picking it up. After glancing at the open page she sighs, “I can’t read Elder.”
Why do you sound so ashamed? Not many people can. He says, following her and trying to look at the pages with her. She lays it on the ground, letting Geralt see.
“Why a horse as a sacrifice?” (Y/N) thinks out loud, looking at the mare’s body.
They are used for transformation spells. It’s rare and difficult to do, but possible.
“So whoever’s cursed you has to be very powerful, hm?”
Very.
(Y/N) nods, understanding, “That should help narrow it down some, yeah?”
Geralt thinks to himself a bit, Or, it’s more than one being working together.

Let's Summon A Yokai!
Demon Goemon Ishikawa the 13th x reader Oneshot. That's it.
(warning for demon summoning if that makes you uncomfortable. I just made up some stuff for this based off video games where that happened hope that's ok.)

"During my culture studies at school I was studying the local folklore and stumbled onto an old legend of the area! They say that a monster used to roam the lands and strike down evil people every until a shrine was put up for him.
They'd perform a ritual once a year on a new moon or full moon to summon him and leave him really good offerings. If he liked it enough he might grant you something in return!"
We're also gonna need thirteen white candles to represent the sacred number of his, something red to draw the symbols in, and an offering from each of us that has some kind of connection to our wishes!" Her eyes lit up in excitement.
I only have twelve white candles. .." Your eyes looked around the mini candle collection.
One friend helped you cleared up space in your room at least a yard and a half clear, while your devious friend drew red lipstick marks onto your floor and the fourth began placing the candles in a circle around her lighting them up as she went until both stepped away and you four were left looking down at the circle of thirteen candles and three symbols in the center of them. Lightning clashed outside behind the curtains barely lighting up the room but you managed to make out three words written in Japanese kanji in red lipstick.
Goemon. Ishikawa. And Thirteen.
Oh one who walks the path of light, we come once more to ask you to chase away evils blight! Come from slumber, to seek out what we offer! Great one of good and lght, we ask for you to once more walk the night!"
"Under the stars of the heavens, I solemly swear, that this hand will always be kind and never cruel.
You went to go stand up-
Creak!
A shriek left your friends and yourself as the floor boards beneath your feet began to shake and quake under your feet. The boards shuttered to life joining the storm's tags as they rattled around everything in your room including all of you. Books and knickknacks fell off shelves and your desk hitting the floors scattering about like it was a full earthquake of in your room. Windows shook and the bedroom door rattled around as one of your friends fell over onto their side hitting the continued moving boards hard. Until all at once it stopped.
And then all the candles lit back up at once.
You blinked at the sudden light. But froze as your eyes were met with feet and sandals. Ever so slowly your terrified eyes looked up. Pupils shrinking as eyes widening at the sight of grey hakama pants and a sharp silver sword glimmering in the light. A red haori coat hung loosely around a thin but muscular frame. And finally  your eyes met a face. A thin lipped line of a mouth met you and black slitted eyes looked down upon you. Shoulder length black hair.hung from his head and two horns protruded from his forehead. The silence carried on as you both still stared as your friends looked on horrified, and then a clawed hand held up a shiny golden band.
"I accept."
"W-Who are you?!"
"I go by many names. My enemies know me as Death. Your people as a god. My family as Goemon Ishikawa the Thirteenth." Those beautiful eyes widened even more, especially when a hand reached out to tilt her chin back up to him, the feeling of his claws making her shiver under his careful grasp. "You as Husband. I have decided that I accept this coupling."
Your hyperventilating lungs breathed- GASPED for air. Lips. Trembled. Body shook. Tears welding up. "I-I.. Can't accept."
"I'm afraid you have no choice but to honor those vows because now-..Not even death will do us part."
