Hi I haven't pointed Tumblr toward my menstrual care shop for a second
It's https://plebeiangoth.etsy.com
These bad boys is waterproof and washable, and if cared for well can last about ten years or so. Also they're black!
Great for goths or if you don't want to see blood
If you order now you'll have to give me a couple days to ship your order, currently out of town on work but not for so long I gotta put the shop in vacation mode. Just to be transparent.
Thank you for looking at my self-promotion, now get back to shitposting

Sexy ways you can help the enviroment!
Get yourself some cutee shopping bags, platic bags are ugly!
Plant trees. I’m immediatly attracted to anybody who cares about Mama Earth.
Get a reusable mug and water bottle!
Date idea #1: Go second-hand shopping. It’s literally so much fun!!!
Date idea #2: Go to protests. Speak up for the enviroment in your country or online.
DIY your way through life.
Home-made beauty products are SO MUCH BETTER than store bought ones. Time to glow up bitch. (DM me for recipes or hit up Pinterest/ Youtube)
Learn how to sew. You don’t have to make your own clothes, but instead of buying new things you can save your fave torn hoodie with a few stiches, believe me. Also #wifeymaterial.
Eat less processsed meat, and more locally grown veggies and fruit (and even meat). Beauty inside and outside baby. Your body will thank you. You can also make new friends when you go to your local market.
Grow your own food! It’s literally so easy to grow some tomatoes or potatos in your window. Even if you live in the city and don’t have a garden.
Date idea #3: Go and collect trash, organize or join local clean-up events.
Girls (and everybody who has periods) look, reusable mentrual cups, panties and pads are so much better for your pussy than the ones that are whitened with bleach and who-knows-what. It can also save you money in the long run! (like, A LOT OF money)
There you go. These are all 100% tested by me. Super easy, super cheap, super fun, super sexy.
Feel free to add more!
(Imma add some unrelated tags bc I think this is important. Sorry, not sorry)

Menstrual Health (3) How to improve menstrual hygiene continuation 3. Access to affordable and sustainable menstrual hygiene products (e.g. menstrual cloths, reusable pads, disposable pads, menstrual cups and tampons) is key to improving menstrual health and hygiene. Yet only a fraction of women and girls in developing countries use sanitary products during menstruationn Menstrual health and hygiene interventions can help overcome these obst acles. Not only do they fulfil the unmet demand for menstrual hygiene products; they also protect dignity, build confidence, and strengthen sexual and reproductive health, particularly among adolescents. Im fucking fed up, honestly I’m so angry. Just read an article that says “most feminine hygiene products contain toxic ingredients”. So not only I have to pay soooo much money every month just to keep my pants clean, I also might die of toxic shock syndrome cos the products I have to pay for are toxic?? This is a fucking impossible situation, I can’t use tampons or mentrual cups cos they might actually kill me, and I definitely can’t use pads cos I work in a healthcare environment 9 hours every day which means I have to wear all white clothes and if you’ve ever had a period you know white pants and a pad don’t end well. Honestly what the fuck do I even do? It’s a lose-lose situation and no matter what I decide for I still need to pay for ugh just fucking kill me

Veganism
I’ve been having a lot of health problems in the last ten years of my life. I’m only 29, and I’ve read up on how to apply to become officially handicapped. I’ve looked up how much a wheelchair costs and walkers because of knee, back, and tailbone problems.
I’ve been fighting eating disorders for 15 years of my life. I’ve been anorexic at 14, and bulimic at 21. I’ve been free of both for 4 years, but unwilling to budge on certain changes that trigger those old habits. I avoid counting calories, I avoid knowing my weight, I avoid knowing my shirt/pants sizes. I’ve been afraid of caring too much. I’ve been stagnant all this time, feeling aimless.
I’m an environmentalist. I know the toll of agriculture on the earth. I’m a druid... and I hold sacred every life. My investment in living and eco friendly life has brought me down a lot of paths. I’ve made changes such as using bar shampoo&bodywash to using teatree oil conditioner to treat my dandruff. I’ve tried mixing my own laundry detergent, toothpaste, and deodorant. I’ve made my own cloth grocery bags of old T-shirt’s, and transitioned to reusable cloth pads and a mentrual cup, as well as using cloth toilet paper. I use metal straws and bamboo cutlery instead of their plastic counterparts. I’ve tried using wool balls and essential oil to replace drier sheets and shorten drying times. I’ve also switched to bamboo toothbrushes.
With my health (mentally, physically, spiritually) and all of these accomplishments in my mind, I feel like I have the motivation to truly make a change. I’m going to change my eating habit. Vegan is my goal. I’ve already started searching for vegan alternatives to what I already eat to test out. I’m going to start the transition. I can become an environmentalist through slow transition, then I can become Vegan just the same.
One step at a time.
The druid in me will sigh with relief for every life I spare by doing this.

Moontime Comforts Pads Review/Progress Report
Hello my lovelies! Today I’m going to be talking about my own handmade pads and how they’ve coped so far with their intended use. One day I’d like to be able to look at my pads and deem them of a a high enough standard to sell on my Etsy store, or at the very least to be able to sit down and make a few for a friend or a daughter (should I be blessed with one).
Brief description: These are 2 pads I’ve made myself, both with PUL backing, old brushed cotton/flannel sheet absorbent core and cute top prints. Both pads do up with single snaps on the wings. The green topped pad is an overnight pad and the pink topped is a regular-heavy.
Price: These were pretty cheap for me to make as I used materials I already had. The only thing I purchased specifically was the blue PUL which I believe only cost a few pounds per meter as it was reduced to clear.
Benefits: I got to choose my own patterns for these which was great because I could make them in a style I already knew I liked and in a size that was right for me. The stitching visible on the top layer denotes where I’ve added the core layers and by luck rather than anything else it turned out to look really beautiful so I’ll definitely be keeping that in my future pads. It also gives you a visual idea of where the absorbency is left, so if your blood is seeping out of the inner ring and towards the outer ring you know you’ve not got much absorbency left to work with. I absolutely love the prints. A friend of mine gave me the fabric specifically for making pads and it’s just so beautiful.
Challenges: I need a lot of practice getting the wings right, they seem to disappear during the sewing so I need to be aware of that and add more allowance in the patterns. Both PUL fabrics I used weren’t great. The pink floral one is way too stiff for a pad fabric, it’s much more suited to wet bags which is what I bought it for, but at least I know it’s not going to leak. The blue PUL hasn’t stood up to washing whatsoever which is really disappointing. In the shop it looked great and the label said all the right things, I washed it at 30 degrees with all my other pads... It’s obviously just a poor quality material, probably why it was heavily reduced in the store. Sewing the PUL layer on can be a bit challenging, avoiding getting the needle on the back so it was watertight resulted in puckering both times, although less severe on the blue pad. Symmetry also doesn't seem to be my forte at the moment but perhaps that’s my pattern being free hand. The quality of my snaps is also poor, but they’re functional, and I bought them to make a trial reusable kitchen roll, so you get what you pay for there, I wouldn’t dream of using them for paying customers. So, quite a lot of improvements to be made, mainly in quality of materials and sewing which come with experience, knowledge and time, so nothing too bothersome there, I know where I need to hone my skills.
Value for money: Considering I made them for essentially free I’m pretty happy with them. These are practice pads for me at the moment and they’ve been a valuable learning experience.
Overall verdict: These pads are cute and they mean something to me, they signify the start of my own journey in pad making and that’s special. My personal goal is to make some more over summer as practice, and then hopefully have improved enough to give a couple to my flatmate for her birthday as a trial before she invests in her own stash as she has expressed an interest to me in trying some. When I get to about September I’ll hopefully upload another review/update on how my pads are looking around then.

I don't post near enough about my shop. BTW menstrual pads are 30% off until the end of June
The pads I make are made with cotton/spandex jersey on top, backed with flannel with hidden laminate behind it, and the core is made with super heavyweight bamboo fleece which is super absorbent! The regular through super absorbencies also have a layer of ZORB to make it absorb more quickly. They also all have four snaps to adjust to different underwear. And of course they're all black so they don't stain.
So they're soft, very absorbent, won't leak, and are easy to care for!

Had a really cool and very vivid dream last night that someone bought out my entire Etsy shop. 😏
Too vivid. Woke up and checked my shop 😢
To be fair it would be really dang weird if someone bought a crapload of menstrual pads, elf hats, and rice pillows all at once. Maybe not so weird if just all the pads went, I mean that would make sense, one would need several.
Anyway, my shop is etsy.com/shop/plebeiangoth
