Clonewagon meeting Josuke.

I imagine the situation of them meeting would be that at the start of DIU instead of Joeseph sending Jotaro to go talk to Josuke it'd be Spw, tho Jotaro would probably eventually be called there too once they realized Josuke has a stand and keeps getting attacked by other stand users- but thats besides the point lol.

Josuke would probably not like him at first since he's "just some random guy my dad sent" and this would be before he really even got to meet his dad so still having that bitterness towards him. Kinda similar to how Josuke was towards Jotaro at the start

but I think he'd come to like him eventually, not sure exactly how that would come about exactly though

Damn ya'll are more bigbrained than me holy shit- definitely going to use this as an AU cause that's kinda funnier and interesting than what I was thinking-- I totally am not running away with this idea and making mini comicss pshhh-- anyway this is Clone Speedwagon first waking up-

Idk why I made that doctor so sinister looking I felt silly idk- anyway Then Speedwagon slowly regains more memories, maybe has a whole identity crisis arc or smthn after he learns that he's actually a clone. maybe he even like had the OG speedwagon's brain transplanted in him or something idk how it works lol--

Either way then he joins up with the Stardust Crusaders and heads to Egypt since him having more knowlege on Dio that the other's wouldn't have would be usefull to them and the fight- maybe he even gets a stand- that'd be cool as fuck-

anywhoo at this point I'm just rambling about how he'd meet D'arby which isn't too much involved in him having been cloned or whatever but idk I feel like writing it-

They get to cairo egypt, and Daniel D'arby is there, and going kinda along the actual plot chalenges the crusaders to gamble against him and his cheats. Though Speedy knows his cheats bc having come from ogre street he's grown up in an environment where you need to be able to detect that kind shit. Speedwagon is likely able to point out all of his tricks and cheats to the crusaders, earning a bit o respect from D'arby :]

Their encounter ends good, rather than D'arby having a panic attack over Jotaro, the crusaders just win at some gamble against Daniel bc Speedwagon wouldn't let him cheat lol.

and after Dio is defeated and all his minions are kinda just without jobs or whatever happened to them D'arby sticks to Speedwagon since he'd have been the one to have been able to see through all of his tricks

[at this point I think I'm being kiiinda ooc for good ol Danny Darby but cmon he showed up in like 2 episodes--] and then D'arby finds out about the whole yknow... being a clone thing maybe Speedwagon has another identity crisis and also is learning about new technology from Terence [LET MY 1800'S BOY SPEEDWAGON PLAY A VIDEO GAME!!]

Anyway Darby and Speedwagon then they fall in love and kiss and have a happily ever after bc I'm crazy like that :]

what if there are multiple clonewagons and each one meets a different jojo?

Hmm- yeah I would be interested in different clonewagons appearing and how they'd interact with the different JoJos. Thinking of a Part 5 italian mafia clonewagon that joins bucci gang- Im intrigued-

I'd also wonder what differences each of them would have :v considering they're all clones of the og but would probably develop slightly differently as each of their parts played out.

Old Joseph meeting Clonewagon and being freaked out about it. Of the SDC cast he's the only one who has known Speedwagon personally so it hits him harder.

Perhaps he's like "this man is an impostor!" at first but deep down misses his honorary uncle and is glad to see him again and he's conflicted since Clonewagon remembers him with the original Speedwagon's memories but he knows he's a clone and not the same one

I mean a similar thing did literally happen in Eyes Of Heaven- though obviously Speedwagon in EOH wasn't a clone but instead a weird time-anomaly I'd imagine the initial meeting wouldn't be too dissimilar

So probably once the whole clone thing is actually brought up and they aren't like actively in the middle of a battle then those kinds of "oh shit you're my dead kinda uncle/grandpa/father figure but also not..." convos would start happening.

I hate to bring this up as a comparison but its unfortunately the only thing I can compare it to- I'd imagine their relationship would be similar to the Beta & Alpha homestuck kids, where they both somewhat view eachother as their family in their memories, and they kinda are, yet technically never met and are different people. Having an odd almost parasocial relationship sometimes based on what the other remembers of the other, though Joseph probably would be very happy to have his old man back with how he acted in part 2 when he first thought Speedwagon died

But as Clonewagon progresses, he does moreso become his own person, gaining some traits that the original did not as he lives experiences that the original didn't. Which does start to loosen that connection with Joseph a bit more.

Anyway Polnareff would totally ask Speedy if he has any stories of when Joseph was a kid as he gains those memories [he probably tells the airplane re-hijacking one and Polnareff goes wild lol-]

Why does Clonewagon also have the scar?

Imagine if he at first was created without the scar, a perfectly clean and blemish-free new human, but since he has Speedwagon's memories he remembers he's supposed to have a scar and cuts his face on purpose in an attempt to feel like himself, to look like the face he remembers, even though he feels he isn't real

actual answer is I didn't think too hard and the scar is like the most defining trait of speedwagon and Id like to think maybe they just tried to make his face as accurate to his original.

and about him potentially giving it to himself,, though- a bit of angst is aprecated-- vvvhhh-- Im fucking crying,,,

The scar that reminded him of his home, as much as he hated Ogre Street, it was his home, and that scar and all it represented of his life growing up there was part of him. It was gone.

That could be cool- I feel like over time each clone would become slightly different from the original Speedwagon based on their diff surroundings. And probably the way they develop to be slightly different from the original would definitely alter how their stand would form if they got one- that could be something fun to explore

also thinking about how the part 6 Clonewagon would go about befriending Jolyne while she's in prison-

What if Clonewagon was genetically modified and got some special abilities to go with it?

I mean regular Speedwagon could already just superheat his abs or whatever lol so maybe he can do that too but maybe he could have some other funky abilities too lol

hot take: clonewagon acquires a stand

Mm interesting- I'd be curious as to what his stand would actually be- considering its speedwagon [kinda] I'd assume some sort of like- healing or more supportive abilities. Though also a more offense type stand would be interesting too-

there's some pretty good name potential from actual reo speedwagon songs you could use.

in terms of how I'd imagine it going If I were to make like a complete fic out of this AU or something Clonewagon most definitely WOULD get a stand, I just don't know what it would be lmfao
