A belated 6 month blanket update! I've added a lot of different kinds of flowers this past month, including:
Clockvine
Plumeria
Petunia
Carnation
Anemone
The white petunias are based on firefly petunias, and they glow in the dark!
I've started a new job, so I don't have as much time to make elaborate flowers, but I'm determined to see this project through.

Flower Vibe Check || @cosmicdreamt
💐for the flower vibe meme uwu
"A flower for Neff, hmm? Let's see... Clockvines? I think they'd match her eyes, at least. They kinda of resemble mornin' glories, and their name comes from the fact that as they grow they wrap clockwise 'round supports. They can be used as medicine, or are used as fodder for animals to eat. People use 'em for heavy menstruation, fever reduction, and poultice for open wounds."

Finally got the last of the daffodil bulbs planted. I don't know if they'll bloom this year, or maybe bloom really late. Nick and I cut down the roses and the dead clematis and peonies and we set up the panels of Ivan's dog kennel against the fence where we can use it to train the climbing roses and clematis when they start to grow again. Playing with ideas of other things that could be grown there as well-- sweet peas maybe, or clockvine. This poor windflower is trying so hard to bloom even in the freezing rain we had a couple weeks ago. The hellebore is just starting to develop buds. I know it's not even halfway through winter yet but I'm so excited for Spring to come.

Blog Post #3
I do not understand Tumbler.
I have been looking at the site and it tells me I have "notes". Are these mine, or does someone leave a note on my post? These indecipherable concepts continue to elude my understanding. Regardless, I will continue to update this blog on Tumbler for the same reasons as I mentioned in 'Blog Post #2'.
Since it would be unkind of me, here is another image I had drawn previously to round out this post, and perhaps bring me just a bit closer to discerning what a "note" is.

A new snapshot from https://sagesacre.com/2021/05/09/thunbergia-ate-the-duck-enclosure/
Thunbergia Ate the Duck Enclosure
Among my great $1 rescues was this Orange Clockvine (Thunbergia gregorii) I got from a nursery going out of business as a scraggly stick in a 1 gallon pot.
I planted it at the corner of the duck pen hoping the fencing might give it some support to grow on.
Clockvine consumed an entire 15x10x8 foot duck enclosure
Twenty years later it’s consumed the entire pen, top to bottom, side to side over the whole 10 foot by 15 foot pen. Every spring it starts to bloom and doesn’t stop until the first winter freeze. Sometimes it’s covered so densely in orange flowers that it literally shows up on satellite images.
A great $1 investment.
